Excerpts from Psalms "Psalms" is the sacred part of the ancient "Old Testament", which was produced during the period from 1000 BC to 300 BC. It is a hymn when worshiping gods in the temple. The themes are gratitude, apology and trust and praise. We selected 35 representative papers from the middle of 150 papers. Psalm 1 Blessed is the man who loves the law of the LORD and meditates on it day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, which bears fruit in season, and whose leaves do not dry up.and everything he did prospered. The wicked are not like this, but are scattered like chaff by the wind.

Therefore, the wicked will not stand in judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous.but the way of the wicked will perish. Psalm 2 The king of the world relies on the Lord of heaven Why do the nations quarrel, and why do the nations plot vain things? The kings of the world rose up together, and their rulers took counsel together to oppose the LORD and his anointed one. Say: We will break free from their bonds, and throw off their ropes. He that sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will laugh at them. Then he will rebuke them in wrath, and frighten them in wrath.

Say: I have set my King on my holy mountain in Zion. The anointed said: I will preach the decree.Yahweh said to me: You are my son.I gave birth to you today. Ask me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance; and the ends of the earth for your possession. You will break them with a rod of iron. You will smash them like a potter's vessel. Now you kings, you should wake up.The judges of your world deserve chastening. Serve the LORD with fear; rejoice with trembling; kiss your Son, lest he be angry, and you perish from the way, for his wrath is about to be kindled.Blessed is everyone who takes refuge in him.

Psalm 4 Ask the Lord to accept prayers with mercy (David's poems, changers and singers, musical instruments with silk strings.) O God who justifies me: When I call, answer me.I am in distress and you will make me broad. Please have mercy on me now and hear my prayer. Where are you, how long will you turn my honor into shame? How long will you love vanity and seek falsity?Know ye that the Lord has set apart the godly to himself.I call to the Lord, and he will hear me. Be in awe, sin not, meditate in your hearts, and be silent in your beds. Offer up righteous sacrifices, and trust in the LORD.

There are many sayings, who can show us what is good?Yahweh!Lift up your face and shine on us. You make my heart happier than the man who reaps grain and new wine. I will lie down and sleep in safety, for in Thy LORD alone I shall dwell in safety. Psalm 6 Ask the Lord for Mercy in Trouble (David's poem. Give it to the conductor, use stringed instruments, call the eighth.) O Lord!Do not rebuke me in your anger, nor punish me in your wrath. Yahweh! Please have mercy on me, for I am weak.Yahweh!Heal me, for my bones are trembling) and my heart is terrified.Yahweh! How long will it take you to save me?Yahweh!Turn back and rescue me, save me in your steadfast love.

For in death no one will remember you, and in Sheol who will thank you. I am weary with groans.I weep every night, floating the bed and soaking the mattress. My eyes are dimmed with sorrow; and my eyes are dimmed with all my enemies. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity! For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping. The LORD heard my plea. The Lord will accept my prayer. All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly dismayed. They shall draw back suddenly and be ashamed. Psalm 8 Praise the dignity of man through God's creation (David's poem. Give it to the singer, with Gath musical instruments.) Jehovah, our Lord! How wonderful is your name in all the earth! You have revealed your glory to heaven. For the sake of the enemy you have established power out of the mouth of the babe and the suckling, to silence the enemy and the avenger.

I looked at the heavens you made with your fingers, and the moon and the stars you made, and I said, "What is man, that you think of him?"What is the world that you care for him?You made him a little lower than the angels, and crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him ruler over the work of your hands. He put all things under his feet, every ox and sheep, every beast of the field, all the birds of the air, and all the fish of the sea. Yahweh, our Lord! How wonderful is your name in all the earth!Psalm Nine Praise God's righteousness (David's Psalm. Give it to the leader of the players, and call Mu Rabien.) I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart.I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

I will rejoice and be glad because of you.O Most High!I will sing praises to your name. When my enemies turn back, they fall and perish at your presence. Because you have vindicated me and defended me.You sit on a throne to judge righteously. Thou hast rebuked the Gentiles, Thou hast destroyed the wicked.Thou hast blotted out their name forever and ever. Enemies are at an end, they are destroyed forever. You have destroyed their cities, and you have lost even their name. But the LORD sits king forever. He has set His throne for judgment. He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in righteousness.

Yahweh will be a tower for the oppressed, a tower in time of trouble. Yahweh! Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you have not abandoned those who seek you. Sing praises to the LORD who dwells in Zion, and proclaim among all the people what he has done. For he who avenges bloodshed remembers the aggrieved, and does not forget the cry of the afflicted. Yahweh! You raised me from the gates of death.Have mercy on me, behold the misery that those who hate me have done to me. so that I may describe all your virtues.I will rejoice at your salvation at the gates of Zion. The Gentiles are caught in a pit they have dug; their feet are entangled in a snare they have laid.

Jehovah has revealed himself. He has judged. The wicked are entangled in the works of their own hands. The wicked, even the Gentiles who forget God, will go to Hades. The poor will not be forever forgotten; the hope of the afflicted will never be disappointed. Yahweh!Arise, please, and let no one overcome.May the Gentiles be judged before you. Yahweh!Make the Gentiles fearful.May they know that they are but men. Twelfth Psalm God hates vain and slick praises (David's poem. Give it to the singer, call the eighth) O Lord!Help me, for the godly are cut off, the faithful are gone from among the world.

Everyone lies to his neighbor. They speak with slippery lips and duplicity. The LORD will cut off every slippery lip and every boastful tongue. They have said: We shall overcome with the tongue. Our lips are our own.Who can be our lord?Because of the wrong of the poor and the groaning of the poor, I will rise up now and place him in the safe place he longs for, says the LORD. The words of the Lord are pure words.as silver refined seven times in clay furnaces. Yahweh! You will protect them. You will keep them forever from the people of this generation. As the lowly rise up among the world, the wicked prowl about. The sixteenth life and death depend on God's blessing (David's golden poem) O God!bless me, for I trust in you. O my heart! You will say to the LORD: You are my Lord, and my good is not outside of you. As for the saints of the world, they are beautiful and good, and I am most pleased with them. Whoever puts another god in place of the LORD, their sorrows shall be multiplied. The blood of their drink offerings is offered, and the names of other gods will not be mentioned on my lips. The LORD is my inheritance, the portion of my cup. What I have, you keep for me. The land that was measured to me with a rope is located in a beautiful place. My inheritance is really good. I will bless the LORD who taught me.My heart also alarms me in the night. I keep the LORD always before me.For he is at my right hand, and I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart rejoices, my spirit rejoices, and my body shall dwell in safety. For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor let your Holy One see corruption. You will show me the way of life.Fullness of joy is before you, and eternal bliss at your right hand. Psalm 22: A Prayer in Distress (David's poem. Give it to the performer, call the deer.) My God!my God!Why forsake me?Why don't you save me, and don't listen to my groaning words?my Lord!I cry out in the daytime, but you do not answer.Cry in the night, and be silent. But you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel. Our ancestors relied on you. They depend on you, and you deliver them. They cry out to you, and they are delivered. They are not ashamed to put their trust in you. But I am a worm and not a human being. I am humiliated by everyone and despised by the people. Everyone who saw me laughed at me.They curled their lips and shook their heads, saying, "He entrusts himself to the LORD, and the LORD will deliver him."If the LORD is pleased with him, let him deliver him. But you brought me out of my mother's womb. When I am in my mother's bosom, you make me trustworthy. I was delivered into your hands from my mother's womb. From my mother born me, you are my God. Do not be far from me, for distress is near and there is no one to help me. There are many bulls around me.The mighty bulls of Bashan surrounded me on all sides. They opened their mouths to me like a roaring lion. I am poured out like water, and my bones are out of joint. My heart melts like wax within me. My energy is dry as a tile and my tongue sticks to my gums. You set me in the dust of death. Dogs surround me, villains surround me.They pricked my hands, my feet. I can count my bones. They stared at me. They divide my coat and cast lots for my coat. Yahweh! Please don't stay away from me.O my savior! Please come and help me. Deliver my soul from the sword, my life from the dogs. Deliver me from the mouth of the lion. You have promised me that you have delivered me from the horns of the wild bull. Thank you Lord for your blessings, I will pass on your name to my brothers. In the assembly I will praise you. You who fear the LORD, praise him.All descendants of Jacob will glorify him.All descendants of Israel shall fear him. For he neither despised nor hid his face from him that hated the afflicted; but he heard the afflicted man cry. The word that I praised you in the assembly came from you; I will pay my vows before those who fear the LORD. The humble will eat and be satisfied, and those who seek the Lord will praise him.May your hearts live forever. Remember the LORD, and submit to him, all the ends of the earth; all the peoples of the nations will worship before you. For the kingdom belongs to the LORD.He is over the nations. All those who are fat on the earth will eat and drink and worship; and all who go down to the dust and cannot live their lives will bow down before him. He will have descendants to serve him; the deeds of the Lord will be passed on to future generations. They shall come and proclaim his righteousness to the people that shall be born, and declare that he has done it. Psalm 25 Ask God to Instruct and Forgive (David's Psalm.) O Lord!My heart goes to you. my Lord!I have trusted in you; do not put me to shame.Do not let my enemies triumph over me. Those who wait for you will not be ashamed. But he who is treacherous without cause shall be ashamed. Yahweh!Show me your ways, teach me your ways. Please guide me with your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me.I wait for you all day long. Yahweh!Remember your mercy and love. For this has always been the case from eternity. Remember not my childhood sins and my transgressions.Yahweh!Remember me in your favor, according to your steadfast love. Jehovah is good and just. Therefore he will show the sinner the right way. He will lead the humble in justice and teach them his ways. The LORD is merciful and true to all who keep his covenant and his testimonies. Yahweh!Forgive me my sins in your name, for my sins are great. Whoever fears the LORD, the LORD will show him the way he should choose. and he will dwell in safety. His descendants shall inherit the land. The LORD is intimate with those who fear him, and he will make known his covenant to them. My eyes are always on the Lord, for he will draw my feet out of the net. Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am alone and miserable. My heart is full of sorrows; deliver me from my troubles. I beg You to take care of my affliction, my difficulty, and forgive me all my sins. Look at my enemies, for they are many and hate me bitterly. Guard my life, and deliver me, that I shall not be ashamed, for I have put my trust in you. May integrity and integrity keep me, for I wait for you. Oh, God!Redeem Israel from all his sorrows. Psalm 30 praises Jehovah for saving death (David composed this hymn when he dedicated the temple.) O Jehovah!I will exalt you because you have raised me up so that the enemy will not boast of me. Yahweh, my God!I cried out to you and you healed me. Yahweh!Thou hast brought my soul up from hell, and kept me alive from going down to the pit. O saints of the Lord!Sing praises to him and praise his memorable name. For his wrath is but a moment, but his grace is for a lifetime.Though there may be weeping all night, there will be joy in the morning. As for me, I am smooth in all things, and I say: I am never shaken. Yahweh! You have graciously made my country stable. When you hide your face, I am terrified. Yahweh!I begged you.I pleaded with the LORD, saying, What shall it profit me to go down into a pit, to shed my blood?Shall the dust praise you and tell of your truth?Yahweh! Please answer me and have mercy on me.Yahweh! Please help me.You have turned my mourning into dancing, stripped me of my sackcloth, and clothed me with joy. that my spirit may sing praises to you without ceasing.Yahweh, my God!I will praise you forever. Chapter 31 Relying on Shao Hehua for help (David's poem. Give it to the actor.) O Lord!I rely on you.Let me never be ashamed, and deliver me in your righteousness. Hear my ear, and save me quickly, be my solid rock, save my fortress. For thou art my rock and fortress; guide me, guide me, for thy name's sake. Deliver me from the snares that are laid for me, for you are my protection. Into your hands I commit my soul; O Lord, God of truth! You redeemed me. I hate those who worship vain gods, but I put my trust in the LORD. I will rejoice in your mercy, for you have seen my distress and know the difficulty of my heart. You have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy; you have made my feet stand in broad places. Yahweh!Be merciful to me, for I am in distress; my eyes are dry with sorrow, and my body and mind are not at ease. In sorrow my life is wasted, my years are wasted in sighing, in my iniquities my strength decays, and my bones are withered. I am a disgrace by all my enemies, even more before my neighbors; all who know me are afraid of me, and all who see me on the outside shun me. I am forgotten like a dead man, and no one remembers me; I am like a broken vessel. I heard the slander of many, and terror was around me; when they conspired together against me, they plotted against my life. Yahweh!I still rely on you.I said: You are my God. My life is in your hands, please deliver me from the hand of my enemies and those who persecute me. Let your face shine on your servant, and save me by your steadfast love. Yahweh!Let me not be ashamed, for I have called to you; put the wicked ashamed, and silence them in Sheol. Let the liar, who is arrogant and contemptuous, speak madly against the righteous; let his lips be dumb and silent. For those who fear you and take refuge in you, how great is the favor you have laid up for them, and performed before the world! You will hide them in a secret place before you, from the scheming of men; you will keep them secretly in your pavilion, from the strife of tongues. Blessed be the LORD, for his marvelous steadfast love has been shown to me in his fortified city. As for me, I have said hastily: I am cut off from your eyes.Yet you hear the voice of my supplication when I call to you. O saints of the Lord! You will all love him.The LORD protects the honest, and rewards the proud with full rewards. Take courage, all you who hope in the LORD, and strengthen your hearts. Psalm 32 Blessed are those who are forgiven overnight by the Lord (a psalm of instruction from David.) Blessed are those whose faults are forgiven and their sins covered. Blessed is he who has no deceit in his heart, and the LORD will not count him guilty. When I kept my mouth shut, my bones were wasted with my groaning all day long. Night and day, your hand is heavy on me; my semen is drained like a summer drought. I confess my sins to you, and I do not hide my evil.I said: I will confess my transgressions to the LORD, and you will forgive my sins. For this reason, all godly people should pray to you while you may be found. When the waters overflow, they will not come to him. You are my hiding place; You will save me from my troubles and surround me with songs of deliverance. He who trusts in the LORD will find mercy. I will teach you, I will show you the way you should go; I will keep my eyes on you and admonish you. You must not be like the mule and the horse, which have no sense; The wicked will suffer much, but the one who trusts in the LORD will be surrounded by mercy. Rejoice in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous ones; shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart. Psalm Thirty-Third Praise the Faithfulness of the Lord Rejoice in the Lord, O righteous men.The praise of the upright is fitting. Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre, and sing praises to him with the ten-stringed harp. A new song should be sung to him, played skillfully and loudly. For the word of the LORD is right. All that he did was honest. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD. The heavens were made by the word of the LORD, and all hosts were made by the breath of his mouth. He gathers up the seas like a wall, and hoards the deep in his treasury. Let all the earth fear the LORD, and let all the inhabitants of the world fear him. Because he said it was, and it was; The LORD has brought to naught the counsels of nations, and the thoughts of peoples of no avail. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, and the thoughts of his heart endure from generation to generation. Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah!Blessed is the people whom he has chosen for his inheritance! The LORD looks from heaven, and he sees all men. From his dwelling place, he looked out at all the inhabitants of the earth. He was the one who formed the hearts of them all, and who watched all their works. A king cannot be victorious because of a large number of soldiers, and a warrior cannot be saved by being strong. It is futile to rely on horses to be saved, and horses cannot save people because of their strength. The eyes of the LORD are upon those who fear him, and those who hope in his mercy; to save their lives from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our hearts have been waiting for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. Our hearts will rejoice in him, for we have put our trust in his holy name.Yahweh!Show us mercy, as we look to you. The Thirty-Fourth Psalm Praises the Salvation of the Lord (David pretended to be crazy before Abimelech, and was driven out by him to write this poem.) I will always praise the Lord, and his praise will always be in my mouth. My heart will boast in the LORD; and the humble will hear it and rejoice. Let you and I magnify the LORD and exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are honored; their countenances shall not be put to shame. I, a poor man, cried out, and the LORD heard me, and delivered me from all my troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Blessed are those who take refuge in the Lord. Taste and see that He is good; Blessed are those who take refuge in Him. Fear the LORD, you saints, for those who fear him lack nothing. A young lion lacks food and suffers hunger; but he who seeks the LORD lacks no good thing. Disciples!Come and listen to my words, and I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Who likes to live, loves longevity, and enjoys happiness. Keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Turn from evil and do good, seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are to their cry. The face of the LORD is turned against those who do evil, and they will blot out their name from the face of the earth. The righteous cried out, and the LORD heard them, and delivered them from all their troubles. Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all. And he kept all his bones, and not a single one was broken. Evil will kill the wicked, and he who hates the righteous will be condemned. Yahweh redeems the souls of his servants; whoever takes refuge in him will not be condemned. Psalm Thirty-six The Sin of the Wicked (A poem by David, the servant of the LORD. Give it to the conductor.) The sin of the wicked says in his heart: I am not afraid of God in my eyes. He boasted and flattered himself, thinking that his sins would never be revealed and hated. The words of his mouth are full of iniquity and deceit; he is cut off from wisdom and good works. He plots iniquity on his bed, he wills to walk in a way that is not good, and he hates no evil. O LORD of God's mercy!Your mercy reaches to the heavens.Your faithfulness reaches to the firmament. Your righteousness is like the mountains; your judgments are like the deep.Yahweh! You save people and livestock. Oh, God!How precious is your mercy! The world takes refuge under the shadow of your wings. They shall be satisfied with the fatness of your temple. You will also make them drink the water of your river of delight. For with you is the source of life; in your light we shall see light. May you always show mercy to those who know you, and may you always do justice to the upright in heart. Let not the feet of a proud man trample me down, and let not the hand of a wicked man drive me away. There the workers of iniquity have fallen; they are cast down and cannot rise again. Psalm Thirty-ninth The things of the world are vain but the Lord is hope (David's Psalm. To Jeduthun the singer.) I have said: I will watch my words and my deeds, lest my tongue sin; when the wicked is before me, I will put a bridle on my mouth. I am silent, not even good words come out; my sorrows are set in motion. My heart burns within me; when I meditate, the fire is kindled, and I speak with my tongue. Yahweh! Please let me know the end of my body and the number of my days, let me know that my life is not long. You have made my days as narrow as the palm of my hand; the years of my life are as nothing before you. When each is at his safest, it is all illusory. The actions of men are illusions. In vain they are busy; they store up treasures, not knowing who will take them. Oh God!What am I waiting for now?My hope is in you!Deliver me from all my transgressions, and do not subject me to the reproach of a fool. Because what happened to me was from you, I kept silent. Take your chastisement from me, for by the blow of your hand I perish. When you punish a man for his sins, his smiles shall die, as moths eat his garment. The world is an illusion. Yelihua!Hear my prayer, and heed my cry.I cry, please don't be silent. For I am a stranger and a stranger before you, like my fathers. Have mercy on me so that I may regain my strength before I go and never return. Chapter 41 When you are sick, you complain about the hypocrisy of your friends. The LORD will deliver him in the day of his distress. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive; he will be blessed on earth.Do not give him up to the enemy to do what he wants. When he is sick, the LORD will sustain him; when he is sick, you will make his bed. I have said: O Lord!Have mercy on me, and heal me, for I have sinned against you, and my enemies have spoken evilly of me, saying: When will he die before his name shall perish? He comes to me and speaks lies; Just go outside and say it. All those who hate me whisper about me; they plot to harm me. They said: There is a strange disease sticking to him.He is lying down, and shall not rise again. Even my bosom friends, whom I rely on and eat my food, kick me with their feet. Yahweh!Have mercy on me, and raise me up to take revenge on them. For my enemies cannot triumph over me, and this is how I know that you love me. You support me because of my integrity, and make me stand before You forever. Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.Amen!Amen!Psalm 49 Laments the foolishness of the world's wealthHear this word, all ye: All the inhabitants of the earth, high and low, rich and poor, give heed heed. My mouth will speak words of wisdom, and my heart will speak words of understanding. I will listen to parables and solve riddles with my harp. In the day of trouble, likes and dislikes follow my heels and surround me, why should I be afraid. None of those who trust in their riches and boast of their riches can redeem their brother, nor give a ransom price to God for him, that he may live forever without corruption; He will see the wise perish, and the foolish and the brutes perish together, leaving their goods to others. They thought in their hearts: Their house shall last forever, their dwelling shall last from generation to generation; they shall call their land after their own name. But human dignity cannot last long, just like dead animals. They walked this way because of their own foolishness. But people after them still admire their words. They are sent like a flock to hell, and death will be their shepherd. In the morning, the upright will rule over them; their beauty will be destroyed by hell, so that there will be no place left. But God will redeem my soul from the gates of hell, for he will receive me. Don't be afraid when you see people get rich and your family grows prosperous. Because when he dies, he can take nothing with him, and his glory cannot go with him. Although he boasted of being blessed while he was alive (if you are selfish, people will praise you), he will still return to his ancestors throughout the ages, and never see the light. A person who is dignified and not awakened is like a dead animal. Psalm 53 Fools don’t know God (David’s instructive poem. Hand it over to the actor and call Mahalla.) Fools say in their hearts that there is no God.They are all wicked, and have committed abominable iniquities, and none of them has done good. God looks down on the world from heaven to see if anyone understands? Is there anyone who seeks him?Every one of them drew back, and together they became unclean; there was no one who did good, not even one. Has the worker of iniquity no knowledge? They devour my people as if they were eating food, and they do not call on God. Where there was nothing to fear they feared greatly, for God scattered the bones of him that encamped against you.You put them to shame because God has rejected them. May the salvation of Israel proceed from Zion, and God bring back his people from captivity; then shall Jacob rejoice, and Israel rejoice. Psalm 58 Pray for God to punish the wicked (David's golden poem. Give it to the chief actor, call Hugh to destroy it.) O people, are you just keeping silent?Shall it be upright to judge?Otherwise, you are doing evil in your heart. You weigh out the violence of your hands on the earth. From the moment the wicked are born, they are alienated from God.Once out of the mother's womb, they go astray and tell lies. Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like dragon's cells that stop their ears, they do not listen to the voice of magic, even if they use the most powerful spell, they will not listen. Oh, God!Break the teeth out of their mouths; O Lord!Knock out the teeth of the young lions. May they perish like the rushing water; when they aim to shoot their arrows, let the arrows seem to be cut off. May they be digested like snails, and like a woman's womb that has never seen the light of day. You kindle the fire with thorns; and before the pot is hot, he will blow away the green and the burning with a whirlwind. The righteous rejoice at the vengeance of their enemies, and wash their feet in the blood of the wicked. Therefore it will be said: Surely there is reward for the righteous, and there is a God who judges on earth. Psalm 66 Praise God's powerSing to the glory of his name, and invent his glory with words of praise. Say to God: Terrible are your deeds, for your mighty foe will surrender to you. The whole earth will worship you, sing praises to you, and sing praises to your name. Come and see what God has done, and it is awesome what he has done to the world; he has turned the sea into a thousand lands, and the people have crossed the river on foot; there we rejoiced in him. He rules over all nations with power forever; his eyes are on the nations, and the rebellious shall not exalt themselves. O people!Bless ye our God, that his praise may be heard. He keeps our lives alive, and does not shake our feet. Oh, God!Thou hast tried us, and refined us as silver. You have brought us into a snare and laid a burden upon us. You made our heads run over in chariots; we passed through fire and water, but you brought us into a land of abundance. I will go into your house with burnt offerings, and I will pay you my vows, which my lips have uttered and my mouth has spoken in times of distress. I will offer you the burnt offering of the fattened ox, and the incense offering of the ram, and the bull and the goat. Praise be to God that he hears his prayers, come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for me. I called upon him with my mouth, and my tongue exalted him. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not listen. But God did hear, He listened to the voice of my prayer. God is to be praised! He has not turned away my prayers, nor has he withdrawn his mercies from me. Sixty-sixth exhortation to all peoples to praise God (a hymn. Give it to the actor, and put it on a vessel with silk strings.) May God have mercy on us, bless us, and shine on us with his face; so that the world will know your way, all nations Know your salvation. Oh, God!May the nations praise you, and may all peoples praise you. Let all the nations rejoice and shout for joy, for you will judge the peoples with justice and guide the nations of the world. Oh, God!May the nations praise you, and may all peoples praise you. The land has yielded its produce.God, our God, will bless us. God will bless us, and all ends of the earth will fear him. Prayer for the King (Solomon's Psalm) O God!Please give the king the authority to judge, and give justice to the king's son. He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice. Great mountains and small hills, because of righteousness, let the people enjoy peace. He will avenge the poor of his people, save the needy, and crush the oppressor. The sun remains, and the moon remains, and people will fear you for all generations. He will come like rain on the mown grass, like rain on the field. In his day the righteous will prosper and have peace abound, as the moon endures. He shall have dominion from sea to sea, from the river to the ends of the earth. Those who live in the wilderness shall bow down before him; and his enemies shall live. The kings of Tarshish and the islands will pay tribute; the kings of Sheba and Seba will bring gifts. All kings will bow down to him, and all nations will serve him. For he will rescue the needy when they cry, and he will rescue the needy when there is no one to help. He will have mercy on the poor and needy, and save the lives of the needy. He will redeem them from oppression and violence; their blood is precious in his sight, and they will live. The gold of Sheba shall be given to him; people shall pray for him always, and praise him all day long. On the hilltops of the earth, the grains will surely flourish. Its fruit will resound like the forest of Lebanon, and its people will flourish like the grass of the ground. His name shall endure forever, and shall be handed down as long as the sun; men shall be blessed through him, and all nations shall call him blessed. Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who works wonders alone!Blessed be his glorious name forever.May his glory fill the whole earth.Amen, amen!Jesse's son David's prayer ends. Psalm 77 When I am in distress, I am comforted by thinking about God (Asaph’s poem. According to Naduton’s method, give it to the actor.) I will cry out to God; I will speak to God, and he will pay attention to me. I sought the Lord in the day of trouble, I kept raising my hands in prayer at night, and my heart refused to be comforted. When I think of God, I am restless; when I meditate on sorrow, my heart is faint. You make me unable to close my eyes; I am so disturbed that I cannot even speak. I recall the days of old, the years of old. I think of my nightly songs, and I ask myself, and I search my heart. Will the Lord forsake me forever and show no mercy?Shall his mercies be exhausted forever, and his promises void from age to age?Has God forgotten to be merciful, and withdrew his mercy in anger? Then I said: This is my cowardice, but I will remember the time when the Most High showed his right hand. I will mention what the LORD has done; I will remember your wonders of old. I also want to think about your management and meditate on your deeds. Oh, God!Your deeds are clean! Is there any god as great as God?You are a God who works wonders; you have manifested your power among the nations. You have redeemed with your arm your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Oh, God!When the waters see you, they are terrified, and the abyss trembles. Blessed is the man who takes your little ones and throws them against a rock.
