The fifty-sixth chapter "Min Tan Chunxing Pros and Eliminates Disadvantages" has such a passage: Tanchun said with a smile, "You are such an ordinary person, but you have never seen Ji Zi's book. At that time, Ji Zi said: "According to the field of Lilu, those who are in the field of planning and planning, poor Yao and Shun's words, memorize the way of Confucius and Mencius." Baochai said with a smile: "What about the next sentence?" Tanchun said with a smile: "Now I take the meaning out of context and read the next sentence, and I will scold myself for failing." The three of them made fun of it for a while, and then they continued to talk about business. (According to Yadong's edition)

What kind of book Ji Zishu is, no one can say.Especially a few days ago when I chose this book as a high school Chinese textbook, the teacher encountered problems when explaining it, and I couldn't answer every letter I asked. It turned out to be a joke.Baochai first mentioned Zhuzi and then Confucius, and Tanchun said that you are such a common man that you have not seen Jizi.Take Jizi to resist her, no matter how older Zhuzi and Confucius are, it has to be Jizi.It is almost a joke to use Zhou Gong's surname as Ji.As for these four sentences, Tanchun made up his mouth, to the effect that being an official and doing business would violate the Tao of Yao, Shun, Confucius and Mencius, so there is no context. So Baochai asked her, "What's the next sentence?" as if to say, can you make it up?I see how you make it up?Sure enough, there is no more text. When Tanchun went on, it was inconvenient for her to affirm the bureaucratic businessman and deny Confucius and Mencius, so she said, "Read the next sentence and I will scold myself for failing."The meaning of this dialogue was very clear. I don’t want to think that there are such books recently.

Here are a few more points to explain this, except that I don’t know about this book: (1) The illustrations in my collection are annotated with "Jin Yuyuan". An idler in Taiping notes: "Idlers are poor and have few books. I have never seen Jizi's book." Judging by his tone, he seems to say that he does not know, but in fact he said that there is no book at all.Previously known to be fabricated by the author. (2) As far as the common sense of Chinese books and characters is concerned, it is absolutely impossible for a hundred schools of thought to have such a name as Jizi; so such a title is not afraid of misunderstanding.Although Zhou Gong's surname is Ji, men in ancient times never put their surnames on their names. The term "Ji Dan" was used occasionally after the Six Dynasties, but it violated the original habits of ancient times.

(3) The text of the Zhigeng version is slightly different from the popular version, and the excerpts are cited below: Tanchun laughed and said, "You are such an ordinary person, but you didn't see Zishu. At that time, Ji Zi said something..." The three of them were just joking, and after talking and laughing for a while, they continued to talk about business. There are two differences compared with the previous quotation: 1. It is only "Zi Shu", which is in spoken language, and not "Ji Zi Shu". .It's like we talk about it without mentioning Zhuangzi's book. The same is true for quoting Laozi, Mozi, and Liezi, not to mention Laozi, Mozi, and Liezi. The three characters in Jizi's script are unreasonable.2. Although there is an article in the normal version that "made fun of once", it does not clearly state that the above is a joke, but the fat version clearly states that it is "just a joke."If Tanchun quoted a book in a serious manner, wouldn't it be funny at all, and there would be no joke at all.The author of this place clearly tells us not to be serious, but we still have to be serious.

In addition, there is a similar example in this book, which may as well be discussed. In the third chapter, there is a book called "Tong Kao of Ancient and Modern Characters", which may also be fabricated, so I quote it as follows: Baoyu said: "A General Examination of Ancient and Modern Figures says: 'In the West there is a stone named Dai, which can replace the ink of thrush. I'm afraid it's another fabrication." Baoyu laughed and said, "Except for the Four Books, there are too many fabrications." Although Baoyu seems to have quoted it clearly, Tanchun has called him out, "I'm afraid it's just a fabrication again."If this book really existed, Baoyu could have dismissed it, but he didn't, and said around the corner, "Except for the Four Books, there are too many fabricated ones."Neither said yes, nor said no, with a smooth tone. This is the so-called "There is no book outside of Ming Mingde", Baoyu has always been delusional;I think this is a book that the author wants to write.

Some people may ask why Jing made troubles and made up the title of the book?I replied, this is a novel. If there are every book cited, wouldn't it become a catalog card of the library.
