The first thing to know is that in the chapter novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there is usually a "general list" at the end, which includes the characters in the book, which is called "list".The list was originally a form of judging and indicating the ranking, so there is a list of 365 "righteous gods" at the end, which is called the "Fengshen List".At the end, there is a "loyalty list" of one hundred and eight green forest heroes in Liangshanbo.At the end there is "You Bang", although the researcher believes that it is not the original author's authentic writing, but it just shows that the prevailing style at that time was not made by Tongsheng.As for the writing of a hundred women who took the exam, and even a big list, there is no need to go into details.

It can be seen from this that Xueqin wrote a book and attached a list at the end, listing the rankings of all important people, which is naturally "logical". However, there is no surprise that there is a list that is true, and that's all; as for why it must be a "love list"?Could it be said that this also has a "origin" and "source"?What will be the answer? I said that the reason why Xueqin named her list "Love List" is not accidental "whim" or "whimsy", and indeed there is a source and a source.How about the origin?I will answer: This "code" is "published" in a book compiled by Ming Dynasty novelist Feng Menglong.

This book is called "The History of Love", which sounds really vulgar; therefore, although I have heard its name for a long time and know that it was also banned in the Qing Dynasty, I don't want to look for it in the library to see what it is like. A kind of "bad book".If you do some learning, you will inevitably have prejudices and self-limitations.So I got to see "A History of Love" very late.When I saw it, I was taken aback, and I said: Sure enough, I found the source of Xueqin's "love list"!It turned out that Feng Menglong collected all the love affairs he had seen in ancient and modern times, regardless of the official history of novels, classics and miscellaneous books, classified them, and compiled them into a book, which is called "the history of love".He compiled eight or nine hundred stories into twenty-four categories, that is, since the beginning of the world, he was the first time to "organize" the records of the "love" of our Chinese nation, and made a "systematic Research".This is really a pioneering work of a strange person, no wonder his strange book has shocked Xueqin's Lingtai Zhifu.

"Love History" is called "Treasure of Love".Xueqin once named his own novel "The Precious Mirror of Fengyue", which has already explained that he got the inspiration from Feng Menglong. This big classification is naturally unprecedented, and it can be called unique.But what about "no one to come after"?That’s not all—it’s time to change to “The One Who Comes Later.” Here comes Cao Xueqin, who was inspired by Mr. Shi Naian and Mr. Feng Menglong, and wrote a novel, vividly portraying one hundred and eight women. Become a "confrontation" with one hundred and eight heroes, that is, "Heroes of the Green Forest" versus "Pretty in Pink".And he made "assessment" and "examination" for each woman, and his method was exactly like Feng's method, using the word "love" as the leader.We already know that Daiyu is "love" and Jin Chuan is "love".

If you can guess, then Yuanyang may be "loveless", and Qingwen may be "feeling wronged".As for Baoyu's "lovelessness", Xue Pan's "lovelessness", Xueqin or Zhiyan also pointed out in plain text.It can be seen from this that although the "love list" is dominated by 108 women, the "men's list" is "appendixed". It is likely that Liu Xianglian is "cold in love" and Feng Ziying is "love man". Knowing the details needs to be studied, but this fact is beyond doubt.Feng Shi divides a "group" of people into several categories, while Xueqin uses individuals as "units" to classify and judge. This is his consistent spirit of inheriting and renovating his predecessors.One hundred and eight green forest heroes "germinated" to one hundred and eight pink beauties, which is also the manifestation of the same spirit.

Part of Xueqin's artistic conception comes from "Water Margin", which is very obvious.For example, Shi Gong wrote that the birth of the heroes of the green forest was due to the "black air" suppressed by Shijie in the ground rushing outward, and they became one hundred and eight "devil kings" who came down to the world.Xueqin was creative because of this, and wrote one hundred and eight heroines and heroines from "Two Poems of Good and Evil".Among the one hundred and eight, Shi Gong is divided into thirty-six heavenly gangs and seventy-two earth evil spirits.Xueqin wrote that when Baoyu was traveling in spirit, she saw many large cabinets and books in the Boming Division in the illusionary realm, indicating the unfortunate fate of those women.Baoyu only opened three big cabinets and looked at the brochures of Zhengchai, deputy chai and deputy chai.There are twelve hairpins in each cabinet, so he read the "judgment" of thirty-six people, which is exactly the number of "Tiangang".He didn't have time to read all of them, and there are seventy-two people's volumes, which is equivalent to the number of "disha", and the traces seem to be reliable.

It was revealed by Zhiyan that the full text was the original, the second, the second, the third, and the fourth....This shows that: the love list is divided into nine layers, each layer is the number of twelve, twelve times nine, exactly one hundred and eight. The catalog of Xueqin's complete book is divided into one hundred and eight, and the total number of hairpins on the list (also known as Qunfang, which represents "a thousand reds cry" and "everything is beautiful and sad") is also one hundred and eight.This is a well-designed artistic structure.But for more than 200 years, no one has a correct answer, so we must write a special book to see the true face of the original book.When talking about Xueqin's overall thinking, if you can't even understand this structural law, how can you talk about it?

This small essay I wrote is very brief, with many layers and relationships, and it is impossible to delve into the narrative in depth.But its purpose is to deepen the correct (not common) interpretation of Xueqin's book, which is the most important first meaning.For example, I am quoting Feng Menglong's "A History of Love" here as a list of love stories; then, what is the meaning of Feng's so-called love?This also requires a basic refreshment.Because this will greatly help to understand Xueqin's thoughts. Now I quote a passage from the preface of "The History of Love" and give a brief example:

"The history of love, Yu Zhiye. Yu Shao is infatuated with love. When he meets a friend, he will be devoted to each other. Good and bad are the same. Hearing that people are poor and useless, even if they don't know each other, they seek a place for them. If they are beyond their power, they will sigh tiredly Tossing and turning day and night without sleep. When I see a lover, I want to bow down. Or a heartless person, who disobeys his wishes and words, must be persecuted and guided by affection, and he must never follow. Just joke, I can’t forget my love for the world after death , must be regarded as a Buddha to pass the world, and its Buddha name should be like the saying "passionate and joyful Tathagata". Someone praises the name and holds it with confidence, that is, there are countless happy gods back and forth to support it. Jealousy, all kinds of evil thoughts. And those who want to choose the beauty of ancient and modern affairs, each writes a short biography, so that people can know for a long time, so that ruthlessness turns into existence, and selfishness turns into public. The common hope is that there will be more."

Please see, his so-called love is by no means the same as the love between children; his temperament, his mind, his thoughts, and his ambitions are not the same as ordinary people, but clearly similar to precious jade.He put forward the title of "love infatuation" at the beginning, and his "strange" temper is Baoyu's "infatuation and stupidity" that is not understood by the world.Over the years, I have risked the world's dissatisfaction, and I have always shouted: The real theme of the book is not a "love tragedy", but a question of the advanced relationship between people.That is, the most broad and noble feeling.At this point, we may be able to win the approval of some people, admitting that Feng Menglong has given circumstantial evidence for us. As a human being, Baoyu sums it up in one sentence: it is for (Qusheng) people, not for himself.The Feng family believed that emotion can govern the country and the people, that emotion can change vulgarity, and that emotion can be regarded as a "religion".This religion is by no means "empty" or "empty", on the contrary, but secular people do not understand this meaning. All of these are a huge topic in the cultural history of our Chinese nation, and can be said to be the core of all issues.Feng's just collected and compiled old essays, while Xueqin composed his own great poems-how great are these great poems!However, only by clarifying all the above can we truly appreciate the true weight and true meaning of this greatness. 1988
