"Talking about Art" Reader 周振甫 1440Words 2018-03-20
Volume 16 of "Suiyuan Poetry Talk" quotes a poem by Bao's daughter who heard the sound of the bell: "The sound comes from the pillow, and the ears reach the sound."It is also hearsay. "Zhu Zi Yu Lei" volume one hundred and four chapters When I was young, I heard the bells and drums with An, and the sound never stopped, but this heart has come to me!It refers to the coming and going of the human heart without time, fluctuating quickly and unexpectedly, and the sound of the bell beating, but the movement of the heart is faster than the beating of the bell and drum.Dongpo's "Baibuhong" poem says that "sitting and thinking more than Xinluo" is also ③.

"Zhuangzi? Autumn Water" said: "Kui pity □, □ pity the snake, the snake pity the wind, the wind pity the eyes, the eyes pity the heart"4;According to the fourth volume of "Ming Confucianism Cases", Xia Dongyan said: "The hearing of the ear stops at hundreds of steps, the clarity of the eyes stops at dozens of miles away, but the thinking of the heart enters the infinity. Although thousands of miles away and Over tens of millions of years, every thought is here." This is a good footnote of Zhuangzi's words.Zhuangzi said that "eyes pity the heart", Zhu Zi meant "ears pity the heart"; although Zhuangzi liked the automaticity of heavenly secrets, Zhuzi hated the difficulty of calming the heart, the meanings are different, and the metaphors are the same.According to the custom, when Zhu Zi heard the bell, he felt that his heart could not be controlled, and he rang the bell with Gayasana, and his heart rang.Huineng's heartbeat ⑦, Volume 5 of the same as above.Ben Ji Wen Zhong said: "Beat my heart", "Five Lanterns Huiyuan" Volume 13⑧.Everything is slightly similar, which is what is said in "Warring States Policy? Chu Policy" ⑨: "The hearts of the widows are shaking like hanging banners." This has nothing to do with Bao's women's poems. "Surangama Sutra" Volume 3 says: "You can even listen to this Ji Tuo garden, the food office beats the drum, and the crowd gathers to strike the bell. The sound of the bell and drum is continuous. These are the sounds that come to the ear and go to the ear. place." Baonu's words are all covered here. ⑥ Gayasana: The seventeenth Patriarch Sangha among the thirty-five patriarchs of Tianzhu is hard to mention. After receiving the precepts, he was named Gayasana. Volume 2 of "Chuan Deng Lu": "When he heard the wind blowing the copper bell of the temple, the Venerable asked the teacher: 'The bell is ringing evil? Said: 'Who will the heart recover?' "Suiyuan Poetry Talk" quotes Danyang Bao's daughter "Singing the Clock" as saying: "The sound outside the stream is slow, and the mind is disconnected. Is the sound coming from the pillow? Suppressing the ear to the sound?" Yuan Mei thought it was quite close to Zen, and said This is what it means to think that Zhu Xi felt that he could not control himself when he heard the bell when he was young. In fact, Zhu Xi said that the movement of the human heart is faster than the sound of the bell, and the sound of the bell and drum can only be heard when it moves, and the movement of the human heart is "unpredictable", as Su Shi said in the poem "Baibuhong". The country is over, it is a disease of the heart, that is, the one-legged beast "Kui", the multi-legged insect "□", the legless "snake", and the invisible "wind" in "Zhuangzi? The "eye" is the "heart" that is hidden deep inside and wanders outside. Compared with the speed of its activities, the speed of the heart greatly exceeds that of the wind and the eye.Xia Dongyan said: Ears can only hear hundreds of steps away, eyes can only see tens of miles away, but the heart's thoughts are endless, even if it is thousands of miles away or thousands of years away, one thought can reach there.Zhuangzi said that "eyes pity the heart" means "happy nature is automatic", and Zhu Xi said "ears pity the heart" means "the wicked heart is difficult to calm down". Although there are differences in one like and one dislike, the heart is the same. Therefore, Zhu Xi's heartbeat when he heard the sound of the bell when he was young is similar to that of Gayasana, Huineng, and Benji who heard the sound, but it is not the same thing as what Bao's female poem said. In the Shurangama Sutra, the so-called "the sound of bells and drums is continuous", and it is difficult to tell whether it is "the sound comes from the ear, and the ear goes to the sound". But Yuan Mei didn't really understand this meaning.
