In recent years, I have been doing the selection and annotation of classical Chinese, and because of the closeness of my position, I often encounter some problems related to the study of classical Chinese.Whether or not everyone should learn classical Chinese is a big problem, and it will probably be solved gradually in a relatively long-term practice.Assuming that you have already decided to learn it, as the current middle school curriculum stipulates, many people will have to come into contact with classical Chinese works, or tell others, or read them by themselves. The purpose is one, to learn, or to pick up classical Chinese reading materials that are not too ancient, and to be able to understand their meaning with or without annotations.Speaking and reading to achieve this goal, you will encounter some difficulties, and you need to have some common sense to deal with them. Some of this kind of common sense can be learned piecemeal from the lectures and readings of words and sentences, and some can be learned more systematically from books introducing knowledge of ancient Chinese. There are also some, which are relatively general in nature, or even relatively elementary, and you will encounter them when you read classical Chinese, but the books introducing knowledge of ancient Chinese do not cover or focus on them. People who speak classical Chinese may have some advantages.Because of this idea, I wrote this little book. The several aspects discussed are based on my own feelings. They are neither comprehensive nor in-depth, and they are inevitably biased and wrong. I sincerely hope that readers will give me more advice.Mr. Lu Shuxiang read through the original manuscript in his busy schedule, put forward many valuable opinions, and wrote the preface for the title of the book; Mr. Qi Gong, a famous calligrapher, wrote the title of the cover book: I would like to express my deep gratitude here.
