Chapter 8 Preface to Zhou Kaicheng Calligraphy Works Collection

Fringe 张贤亮 554Words 2018-03-20
Comrade Kaicheng's calligraphy work "Eighty Poems of the Tang Dynasty" once gave me the honor to write the preface. Not long after, he sent another work, which was actually his personal poems, with about one hundred poems.Mushou read it, and I feel quite a lot.I can't say that his old-style poems have been written very well, but at least they have entered their depths. In the past, I have always regretted that most calligraphers were limited to writing poems of famous masters of the past dynasties, and very few wrote poems by themselves. This shows that the cultural foundation of the calligraphy circle of our generation is still deficient. Now, Comrade Kaicheng from a small city on the outskirts of the country has made up for his shortcomings, of course he can't help but be happy.

Comrade Kaicheng started with calligraphy, then became interested in poetry, and then created by himself. The so-called "familiarity with three hundred Tang poems, even if you don't know how to compose poems, you can chant", originally this should be a matter of familiarity. However, there are not many people who take this familiar path. The reason why I am happy to order a pen to write a preface for him is because I think he is invaluable. Kaicheng is the deputy party secretary of this small city.Politics, in the eyes of poets and poets, are always "dirty" things; reciting poems and painting are "elegant", which is "clean" as opposed to "turbid".Kaicheng is able to have "cleanness" in "turbidity", and he is not tired of reciting while working hard on the case, and he really needs a certain amount of impact psychologically.Otherwise, it is difficult to maneuver between the two fortified barriers. It can also be seen from his poems that most of his better works are nostalgia for his hometown, nostalgia for his deceased and relatives. "Poetry" works, I personally do not dare to compliment.

However, what is worthy of admiration is the longing to rush to another barrier; the rare "clearness in the turbidity". In the end, I still want to remind readers that what I invite you to appreciate here is the art of calligraphy, which is a calligrapher expressing his heart in the form of calligraphy.
