I used to have the habit of writing articles under the lamp, but this habit has long been out of control.Recently, I often mention in my articles that I keep writing late at night, not because I still maintain the habit of writing under the lamp, but because this pen has been moving during the day and has been writing until night I haven't finished writing everything that should be written, so I have to continue writing. It's not a matter of getting used to it or not. I myself had a little other struggle with the writing habit, and that was the smoking problem.For some reason, many years ago, I suddenly wanted to show resistance to the "theorem" that "people who write articles must smoke", and decided not to smoke anyway, but they must write articles.As a result, for decades, this struggle has never been defeated.Therefore, now whenever a new friend asks me in amazement: "Oh, you don't smoke when writing articles?"

However, although we don't have to advocate reading at night or writing under the lamp, it is an undeniable fact that writing or reading under the lamp will give you special concentration and interest.No matter what season, no matter what environment, in the dead of night, sitting alone under the lamp, flipping through books, and writing something you want to write, this is work, and at the same time, it can be said to be a kind of enjoyment.This kind of enjoyment of clear state of mind is difficult to obtain during the day. After all, I still like to write and read at night, but sometimes because the work during the day can’t be finished, it has to be extended until the night, so even this enjoyment is cancelled.
