Chapter 47 Get out of the troubled house and experience the coolness of the bamboo forest (45)

For some reason, the wind blowing from the bamboo forest seems to be extraordinarily cool. Every time I climb the mountain, no matter how hot the weather is and my body is sweating, as soon as I approach the bamboo forest, the heat and annoyance of my whole body will immediately turn into coolness. In Dakeng Mountain, which is full of bamboo forests, the fresh, cool and cold air always makes people forget the sweat along the way. At this time, sitting in the small pavilion built of bamboo, reaching out to draw the mountain spring flowing from the bamboo tube, the feeling of coolness in the heart, all the troubles are thrown away!Whenever I am in the heat wave of Taipei, I miss the bamboo forest in Dakeng Mountain. The cool taste is incomparable, how can I say it?

On Dakeng Mountain, I like to look up at the sky from the bamboo forest and see the green bamboo leaves circled by white clouds. I also like to watch the sunlight pass through the bamboo forest, and I like to reach out and touch the bamboo.what! The tall and upright trees, the distinct knots of the bamboo, are so cold!Sometimes when I come down from the bamboo forest, I have to hold the bamboo with both hands to go all the way down the mountain. Only then do I find that the bamboo is not only cold, but also very clean. There is no other bamboo forest like this one, so clean and cool, maybe it is guarded by Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva on Lingyun Rock on the top of the mountain!

The coolness of the bamboo grove reminds people of the taste of Nirvana described in the Buddhist scriptures as "sitting in the open" - walking out of the burning house of troubles and enjoying the coolness of nature. This is "Nirvana". The Buddha told the monks: "For example, the Ganges River flows to the east, tends to the east, and vertically to the east. If the monks practice and practice the five powers more, they will flow to Nirvana, tend to Nirvana, and vertically to Nirvana." The ultimate liberation of Nirvana comes from the diligent practice of the Dharma and the thorough purification of body, speech, and mind afflictions. As long as we work hard in this direction, it is like the Ganges flowing to the east day and night, so why worry about Nirvana being far away? One day, I will be able to experience the coolness of "sitting in the open".

Soon, a human voice came from the mountain, "There are no people in the empty mountain, but people's voices are heard." Is it the climber you just met?We open our throats and respond: "We are here!" At this moment, my feet were almost unstable, ah!It was the morning dew that wet the steps. We stretch out our arms to meet the sunshine in the forest, let our bodies stretch freely, and melt into one with the mountains, and feel extremely comfortable in our hearts! When we arrived at the "Guanyin Cave", we sat quietly on the boulder on the top of the mountain surrounded by mountains, listening to the sound of the wind and the singing of birds. The deserted mountains, the emptiness and coolness are really indescribable!

"The Bodhisattva is in the cool moon, often wandering in the emptiness, the minds of all living beings are pure, and the shadow of the Bodhisattva appears in the shadow." If it can be so cool all the time, that would be great! The premise is to clear the dirt in your heart first! (This picture is provided by Wu Xiaodan)
