Chapter 27 Chapter 3 Disrespect for the Death of the Living Soul—Zhu Ziguo

King Zhuzi is a king I like very much. Firstly, this king does not favor Taoist priests or monks, secondly, he is not bewitched by vixen or snake spirits, and thirdly, he is very infatuated. But it was such a good king who unfortunately suffered from the most serious intractable disease in history-lovesickness.And he still lives in the threat of the next three evil monsters Sai Tai Sui every day. Zhu Ziguo's practice of medicine is a very interesting scene in the book, and it is also the only performance of Sun Wukong's practice of medicine in the whole book. The writing is wonderful, but the content of this chapter has nothing to do with Sun Wukong's practice of medicine.Sun Wukong practiced medicine because the king was sick. But the king is sick, so Sun Wukong is going to practice medicine?Of course not, the king of the bhikkhu country fell ill, and Sun Wukong didn't care, because the king of the bhikkhu country was hollowed out by a vixen, who would care about his life or death! But the king of Zhu Ziguo is a good king, so Lao Sun wanted to practice medicine, and Lao Sun and his team of doctors found out how Zhu Ziguo’s elder brother got sick. Panicked and worried, it’s a proof that the two birds have lost their flock.” The king was full of joy when he heard the words inside, and he cheered up and responded loudly: “I understand it! I understand it! It’s the disease! Please go out and take medicine. Also." The Great Sage then walked out of the palace slowly. The eunuch who had heard it earlier had already reported it to everyone. As soon as the traveler came out, Tang Seng asked what was going on, and the traveler said: "I have diagnosed the pulse, and now I will make medicine against the symptoms." Said: "There are two birds, a male and a female, who used to fly together in the same place, but were suddenly scattered by the storm. The female cannot see the male, and the male cannot see the female. The female wants to be male, and the male also wants to be female: isn't this because the two birds have lost their flock?" When all the officials heard this, they cheered in unison: "What a monk! What a doctor!"

In addition to the author's respect for the old grandson's five bodies, he also has an additional level of respect for the ancestor Subhuti. This is probably what the old grandson learned from Subhuti. The illness of the king of Zhuzi Kingdom, generally speaking, is lovesickness. This lovesickness is caused by his favorite empress being captured by a monster, and that stupid monster is the mount of Guanyin Bodhisattva. At that time, Guanyin Bodhisattva came and asked Sun Wukong to show mercy. Of course, Sun Wukong wanted to ask the reason, and Guanyin Bodhisattva said that this little thing was here to ward off disasters for the king.Sun Wukong asked the animal angrily what disaster he was eliminating? The Bodhisattva said: "He (King Zhuzi) was very good at shooting and hunting when he was young. He led his men and horses, let go of eagles and dogs, and came to Luofengpo. There were two sons born to the Western Buddhist mother Peacock Daming King Bodhisattva, both male and female. The young sparrow, whose wings rested on the hillside, was shot by the king's bow and wounded the male peacock, and the female peacock also returned to the west with the arrow. After the Buddha's mother repented, she ordered him to dismantle the phoenix for three years. During the season, I straddled this joust and listened to the same words, and I didn’t expect this beast to pay attention, so I came to deceive the queen and get rid of the disaster with the king.”

Therefore, the mistake of King Zhu Ziguo was that he shot a peacock, but this peacock was not an ordinary peacock, but a peacock from Lingshan, a brother and sister of the Tathagata. The son of the Buddha's mother, the brother of the Tathagata. But the author has many problems that I can't figure out, so I share them with readers.First, how did the Buddha's mother conceive and give birth to her son and daughter?Isn't this against the precept?Second, is the relationship between male and female peacocks brother and sister or something, why did you hurt the brother and sister, and you went to break up the couple? This doesn't make sense.Third, why do you want to disperse people for three years?Fourth, what does it mean that after the Buddha Mother repented, she instructed him to remove the phoenix for three years? Why repent?Fifth, why wait until the king of Zhuzi Kingdom ascended the throne to eliminate the disaster?

The author thought for a long time, and only came up with the following ridiculous answer: The answer to the first question is that the mother of the Buddha, Peacock Daming King Bodhisattva, was pregnant before she became the mother of the Buddha, and she was born after she became the mother of the Buddha. The answer to the second question is that male and female peacocks are brothers and sisters, and the reason why the king and wife of Zhu Ziguo were to be separated is because the lesson is more profound, and the pain of lovesickness is the most tormented. The answer to the third question is, it is estimated that the wounds of the two little peacocks will take three days to heal, and the wounds will take three days to harm others for three years. This is in line with the logic of Tathagata and the others. The king of Wuji Kingdom is an example.

The answer to the fourth question is that the reason why the Buddha mother repents is because she should not let her son and daughter run around and discipline is not strict; It's like saying "Amitabha, good, good" before killing someone. The answer to the fifth question is that the reason why you wait until the king ascends the throne before doing bad things is because you have to check which empress he has the best relationship with first, and teenagers don’t know how to feel sad, and the most painful thing is to lose a spouse in middle age. After the problem was solved, the author had another question, why did the king of the Zhuzi Kingdom hurt the two sons and daughters of Peacock Daming King Bodhisattva? After all, they are things with magical powers, just like that Manjusri Bodhisattva. Could it be that they are all intentional?

I don’t dare to think about it, I can’t figure it out, this world is very chaotic, chaos is caused by many people not following the rules, and a world without rules is the scariest world. Like the king of the Wuji Kingdom, the tragedy of the king of the Zhuzi Kingdom also had both external and internal causes. The fault of the king of the Wuji Kingdom was impetuousness, while the fault of the king of the Zhuzi Kingdom was that he disrespected living beings and killed too much. From the words of Avalokitesvara, we can know that King Zhu Ziguo liked hunting when he was young, and he liked hunting when he was the prince. The hostility of those who kill too much is hard to dispel, and it will inevitably bring disaster to themselves, their families, and even their own country.

People who are in awe of life tend to be in awe of heaven and earth, and they will have scruples in dealing with others.People who disrespect living beings tend to be fearless and carefree. Once they do, disaster may not be far away.
