Chapter 30 Movement Eleven Bomi: The Call of the Ancients

Coming out of Ranwu Town, I headed west along the lake. There are excavated stone cliffs on the side of the road, and there is a cement slope close to the ground. Looking back at Ranwu Town, there is already a vast lake.Like the sea that often appears in dreams, it is separated by a world. Soon, I saw the small island in Ranwu Lake. Wa village is very close. There are some wooden houses built on the gentle slope by the lake, with brightly colored doors and stone fences around them.It is said that due to the large amount of precipitation, it is the wettest place on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and it can be called the small south of the Yangtze River in Tibet.

The village exudes a primitive atmosphere, and the wood and stone used are rough rough.Rough fences surround the small wooden house, with a small piece of yellow grass in the middle, and lush evergreen trees beside the house. I love this hut away from the world so much. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and it can definitely be called a paradise for seclusion. On the other side, there is Anmu Co with clear water. In fact, this is a lake connected to Ranwu Lake.By the lake, there are children from the village herding cattle. Standing here, you can hear the sound of rushing.Returning along the lake, there is a stone tablet engraved with the name of the village on the side of the road. Next to the stone tablet, a mountain spring flows straight down from the cliff behind the village. Flow into Anmu wrong. This is probably the tap water in the village!

Going down the mountain spring, you can come to the side of An Mu Cuo.There is a large open space near the lake without any houses, and piles of wheat straw and barley are clustered on the lake beach.I always like the open place, so that there is a lot of space in my heart, where I can think and feel. I didn't continue to walk in the village. I went back and rode my motorcycle on the national road again to start today's journey. Ranwu Lake gradually reaches the end, and a stream cuts across the mountain. This is the Palong Zangbo River, one of the tributaries of the Yarlung Zangbo River. It gradually increases the water volume from this small stream until it forms a galloping dragon at the big bend.

Along the national highway all the way to the west, the Palong Zangbo River is always on the left and right. At a turning point, drive south and you will arrive at Midui Village. The altitude here is not high, surrounded by fertile cultivated land and lush forests. The houses of the Tibetans all have yards of moderate size, with fluttering wind-horse flags planted beside the big trees in the yards, and the second floor of the houses is covered with harvested highland barley and wheat. It is said that this is a village rich in Cordyceps resources. In the season approaching October, Midui is already very beautiful. The layers of forests are fully dyed, and they combine with the rocks of the mountains to synthesize colorful oil paintings. The woods are yellow and red, which complements the distant snow-capped mountains and the blue sky.

I bought a ticket of 50 yuan at the entrance, and when I walked into the scenic spot, I could see the cliffs on the opposite side, similar to the silver-white rock walls of Huashan, with occasional clusters of green on the mountainside. At this time, there is still a distance from the glacier.Crossing the village, you can vaguely see the water vapor over there, covering the magnificent Midui Glacier.Cars can't go there, you have to get off at the end of the road and hike into the mountains. Along the road, there are many long-stemmed flowers and plants, and the vegetation on the plateau looks beautiful. When you get to the pasture, you step over a fence, and then you can enter the forest.

The forests here are well protected and the trees grow luxuriantly.Going up, you can occasionally see a big tree lying on the side of the road. I don’t know whether it fell down naturally or was cut down. The grass beside it is growing wildly, which has the artistic conception of "ten thousand trees in front of the sick tree". There are clear streams in the mountains, rushing down from the hillside, splashing plain flowers from time to time. Climbing along the stream, you can see the rocks piled up outside the woods. Through the woods, Midui Glacier is already in front of us.The two glaciers seem to have poured down from the snow-capped mountains, pushing forward along the bottom of the valley, and extending to the vicinity of the village. Here, you can hear the rumbling muffled sound, I wonder if it is the sound of the glacier cracking.

Similar to Laigu Glacier, here is also a black and white ink painting.Faintly, a blue light can be seen glowing above the glacier.Under the pressure of gravity, the glacier also creases.Beside, there is a thin stream of water flowing down, forming a small ice lake. Walking through the frozen lake, passing a large mani pile. You can pick up the scattered stones on the side of the road and build a small pile of stones.I had seen the glacier a long time ago, but to get close to it, I had to climb over the hillsides made of these stones. The closer you are, the lower the temperature.I wrapped the woolen scarf Tang Li left behind layer by layer tightly, and continued to walk on the glacier.

Walking on the glacier, you can see some deep blue holes from time to time.I heard that these ice caves are very dangerous. If you accidentally step on them, you may die here forever. When you look up, you can see the snow-capped mountains beside the glacier. No matter how many times you meet them, the snow-capped mountains can always give people a sense of tranquility and aloofness. Going up a slope on ice can feel tiring. But the beautiful scenery along the way can relieve fatigue to some extent. The glaciers present various shapes, some are laid out like hair, some are like mille-feuille, some are like loose salt, and some are like cotton.

This is a typical monsoon temperate glacier, located at the junction of the Nyainqentanglha Mountains and the Boshula Ridge in southeast Tibet. I saw some tourists lying on the glacier, shouting happily: "Let me go wild on this snow, because I'm sick and I don't feel anything!" My emotions were also infected by them, and I smiled unconsciously. Four hours have passed, and I hurried back. After looking at the black and white colors of the glacier for a long time, the scenery looks even more charming on the way back. This place must be the favorite place of the gods, so it is splashed with strong colors and decorated as the back garden of the fairy palace.

Looking down, you will still see the messy food packaging bags on the grass by the roadside. Along the way, this is not the first time I have seen such a scene. When I went around the mountain in Aden, there was also a lot of domestic garbage. If tourists are so unrestrained, no matter how beautiful the scenery is, it will not last forever. The road from Midui to Bomi is very good, and my little motorcycle is also very happy, not as painful as it was a few days ago. On the side of National Road 318, there are large stones engraved with scriptures, like a precious artwork that has been left behind. The steep stone walls cover the narrow road, and on the side of the rock, there is actually a white waterfall hanging in the air.

The road is still accompanied by the Palong Zangbo River, and the altitude gradually decreases along the way, so the scenery is more beautiful than the previous section. On the mountains, pineapple is all over the place, and the vegetation is becoming more and more abundant. When I arrived in Songzong Town, I was so hungry that my chest stuck to my back, so I hurriedly found a restaurant to fill my stomach. The closer to Bomi, the more charming the scenery. There are many villages along the way. Every time we pass by, we can see the White Pagoda and prayer flags. The belief of Tibetans reminds us all the time, and our hearts can't help but maintain admiration for that mysterious power. The peaks are staggered, and snow-capped mountains can be seen from time to time.In these mountains, there are many matsutake and morel mushrooms, which are important export products. In the mountains and forests, there are also rare animals such as sika deer, bears, leopards and so on. Passing through the canyon area, the field of vision gradually widened.
