Chapter 22 Movement Ba Daocheng: The Color of Fairy Tales in My Heart

The hot spring is really not in vain! When we woke up in the morning, all three of us felt refreshed. Today, we will march towards the last piece of pure land on the blue planet. The last Shangri-La Wonderland, what is waiting for us ahead?Of course, we still have to climb two mountains first. The first one we passed was Rabbit Mountain. Here, an old love story: There were many tribes in ancient Tibetan areas, so wars for territory were unavoidable.According to legend, there is Zhuosang tribe in the north of Rabbit Mountain, and another tribe faces Sangdui in the south. There are often conflicts between the two tribes. One day, the chief of the Sangdui tribe discovered that his daughter and the servant's son developed a love for each other when they got along.Due to the difference in rank, he firmly opposed and made every possible way to prevent the two from interacting. However, their love is unwavering. The chief was very angry and said that if you want to be married, you should go to guard the border, but you must arrive before dark! The two young men set off without hesitation, but seeing that the sun was about to set and the distance was still so far away, they hugged each other and cried. At this time, a group of divine eagles flew towards them and said, "If you are not afraid, ride on our backs and send you to the border." Since the couple would rather die than separate, they rode on the divine On the back of the eagle, reached the destination before dark. Finally, they became husband and wife and stayed here forever, and the divine sculptures who helped them realize their dreams also stayed here.

This poignant love story has nothing to do with the scenery we see, except for two mountain peaks shaped like rabbit ears, there is no more beauty to speak of. While driving the car, Tang Li said to me, "Xiu, help us have fun and create some atmosphere!" When I heard it, it made sense. The Shambhala in our centrifuge is getting closer and closer, how can we spend it peacefully? So, I cleared my throat and decided to sing a song. "Have you ever been tired of flying birds, rowing across the dusk and sunset. You can't see the starry city clearly, let the shadow be your company! Have you ever forgotten my dream, and it is still under your feet. The endless pursuit, I can’t see the home that is getting farther and farther away. Those days when the flowers bloomed, are you still at the end of looking back? We were once young, but now we are each at the end of the world. Those days when the flowers bloomed, stay at the end of looking back! Under the distant starry sky, I am still singing the songs of that time!..."

Tang Li and Luo Bing shook their heads when they heard it, but I felt that the voice on the plateau was not as loud as it was in my hometown. In any case, accompanied by the constantly receding scenery outside the window, singing my favorite songs, the journey becomes more and more charming. When we arrived at Haizi Mountain, our excitement had not diminished in the slightest. It is said that this place was originally an ocean. Due to the movement of glaciers, a strange landform similar to the surface of Mars was formed. This place is the largest ancient ice body relic on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, known as the "Daocheng Ancient Ice Cap".Due to the large number of large and small lakes, the density is unique in China, hence the name Haizishan.

I love this desolation so much, so I asked Tang Li to stop, hurried to the lake, and took a deep breath of the primitive air. I saw scattered rocks everywhere, no trees as far as I could see, and only a few wild grasses and wild flowers were scattered. The only thing visible is the pearl-like alpine lake under the snow-capped mountains. Luo Bing said that the largest alpine lake is Xingyicuo, which Tibetans regard as a holy lake. The lake there is green, fish are swimming, and various birds live by the lake, majestic and broad. There is also a mountain stream called Mofanggou leading to Haizi Mountain. The water quality in the valley is clear, and you can see swaying tree shadows and groups of yellow croakers.

Sitting on the pile of rocks, I suddenly felt a little distant. Tang Li was not interested in this at all, I didn't bother to pay attention to him, and took pictures everywhere with my camera alone. Due to time constraints, we didn't stay for too long, so we continued on our way. It was still noon when we arrived in Daocheng, and the hotels were overcrowded, and we couldn't even book a standard room. When we were about to find a restaurant for dinner, it started to rain lightly again. While I was eating and waiting for the rain to stop, I looked out the window, saw the raindrops lined up under the eaves and the quiet green trees and yellow grass in the distance, and felt that time was going very slowly. In the holy land of Shambhala, far away from the city, I can finally relax and be in a daze without thinking about anything.

After lunch, we did not continue to wait for the rain to stop. It seems that as time goes by, we will miss a lot of beautiful scenery. Gesang flowers are planted in every Tibetan-style house. The long flower stems are swaying in the wind, and the colorful flowers nod frequently, as if they are welcoming guests from afar. Several Tibetan children greeted the person holding the camera with a bright smile, and some even acted like scissors, a pair of experienced models. Not far from Daocheng is Banghe and Sera, where the famous red grass beach is located. However, Red Grass Beach is not even one-third of an acre of land, it is pitifully small. The most beautiful time here is morning and evening. If there is smoke or mist, it is an excellent time for photography.

When we came, the sky had not yet cleared, so we did not see a beam of sky light covering the poplar trees on the river bank. However, I rubbed against the tour guide next to me and heard the legend of Salicao Dam. Sera means "land of light" in Tibetan.According to legend, in ancient times, there lived a handsome man named Zatong here, but he never found a satisfactory girl. One day, suddenly there was a strong wind, dark clouds closed, and then it rained cats and dogs. After the wind stopped and the rain passed, the sun was shining, everything was as beautiful and lovely as when it was born, and the earth looked especially clean.

Zatong ran out of the house and saw a fairy-like girl on the opposite hillside. She sang and danced, her singing was as sweet as a lark, and her dancing was as graceful and soft as a water snake.Zatong fell in love with her at first sight and immediately told his parents about it.The next day, his parents asked a matchmaker to propose marriage to the village under the opposite hillside. The matchmaker asked all the villagers, but no one knew the girl.Later, the matchmaker saw the girl Zatong mentioned in the woods on the hillside, and she rushed forward to ask where the girl lived, and the girl said that she was a Han nationality far away. After the matchmaker explained her purpose, the girl shyly agreed to the marriage.

On the selected auspicious day, Zhatong stood at the door of the house together with his parents and relatives, looking forward to the arrival of the bride. The maiden set out before the sun came up, for it was custom for her to be at the bridegroom's house before dark. The girl was wearing a skirt, walking step by step, while Zhatong was waiting anxiously. From morning until the sun went down, Zhatong looked forward to see him, but he couldn't see the girl.As night fell, the send-off team was still invisible. Zatong was so angry that he ordered the archers in the village to shoot arrows at the way they came.Shooting arrows shot out, one of which hit the girl in the chest. The girl fell to the ground and immediately turned into a mountain.Seeing this, Zhatong was heartbroken and hit the ground, turning into an empty grass dam.

Today, Gayin Mountain standing in the east was transformed by a girl. Gayin means Han Mountain. The big grass dam lies quietly in Sera Village, and people call it Sera Zatong, which is Sera Dam. The Tibetans in Sera Village are very warm and hospitable, and they often invite Han tourists to visit them.Of course, we left in a hurry before we could wait to be invited. After crossing the Sera Grassland, you will arrive at the foot of Bowa Mountain, which means "heroic and brave mountain" in Tibetan.Whenever the residents of Sera are harassed, they will retreat to Powa Mountain and fight against the enemy with natural dangers.

Winding up the mountain, you can see countless prayer flags on the top of the mountain, and on both sides of the road down the mountain are pastures with lush water and grass. After descending Powa Mountain, you will find the super charming Chitu River Valley. The leaves here are clustered in clusters of various colors.Between the valleys, there is a clear small river flowing, and the stones are washed away by the flowing water, and the edges and corners are worn away. Before arriving at Riwa, we also passed Gongga Langjiling Temple, the largest Yellow Sect monastery in Gongga County. It means "Snow Island" in Tibetan, and it got its name because there are three snow-covered mountains all year round. We didn't stop here, we just took a quick glance and went straight to Riwa. Now Riwa is no longer called Riwa, but renamed "Shangri-La Township". Because of the meaning contained in Shangri-La, many places are scrambling to change the name to express that this is the destination of people's hearts. However, can a name really change its impression in people's minds?Today, people still call this place Riwa, which does not mean that this place is not the sun and moon in people's minds. After driving to Riwa, we have to buy tickets. We didn't get off the car and continued to move forward. When I saw Xian Nairi at the corner of a pass, I couldn't help shouting "Amazing!" The majestic snow-capped mountain stands in front of you. It is said that this sacred mountain is Guanyin Bodhisattva. I can't see it. I just feel that its appearance is somewhat similar to the Guanyin worshiped at home. Continue to follow the Panshan Highway, up and down, and you can see Yading Village from a distance in a short time. The houses in Yading Village look like small matchboxes, built on the hillside.Around the house, there is a large field of crops. Walking here, Shanuoduoji Divine Mountain also came into view, sitting opposite to Xiannairi Divine Mountain, guarding Yading Village, a kingdom with a fairy tale color. We went to Yading Village to find a place to stay, put down our luggage, and I went out to wander. I originally planned to walk alone, but I didn't know that I heard Tang Li and Luo Bing calling me from behind as soon as I arrived at the door. It was around four or five o'clock in the afternoon, and the time to go to Longtong Dam seemed a little tight, so we had to give up. We found a farmhouse, climbed onto the haystack on the roof and lay on our backs, not talking anymore. When I close my eyes, my mind is full of wild scenes of Haizi Mountain. This night, I tossed and turned unable to sleep. After walking for so many years, I always think that traveling is the best way to relax the mind. However, wandering people, once they take off their pretense of being strong, are easily defeated. How stubborn do you have to be to be able to withstand the strength of walking? Walking may fill the time, and a foreign land may give you a short-term excitement, but how much cleaning does the soul have to go through before it can truly reach the tranquility like water? There are too many sorrows in the world, lovers who once vowed to spend the rest of their lives may become strangers in the end.The one who walks hand in hand for a lifetime may not be the one who swears to love her all his life. Looking at other people's stories, thinking about the him in my memory, walking on the road far away from my hometown, I suddenly don't know whether it is that person I really love these years, or those loving past events. Perhaps, the meaning of travel is not how far the soul has gone, but to understand in the process of walking that there is no right or wrong relationship in life. In the remaining time, we must learn to be kind to the people around us, tolerate the injustice in the world, and be considerate of life. difficult.
