The purpose of encouraging people like Wu Manyou[2] is to stabilize the old and new middle peasants and stimulate their production.If this was necessary in the past and the situation has not changed now, it cannot be said that this need no longer exists.If some areas of China are dependent on the rich peasants for food supply, then it is even more necessary to encourage the rich peasant economy.A vague "Left" sentiment, violating economic requirements, is at work in people's minds, and it is very common after the land law is promulgated. Comrades doing propaganda work should criticize it, and should not surrender to this sentiment because it is shaken.
