Chapter 71 Strengthen the study of religious issues[1]

(December 30, 1963) This document[2] is fine. But no mention of religious studies. We have no knowledge of the world's three major religions (Jesusism, Islam, and Buddhism), which have affected the vast population so far. There is no research institution led by Marxists in China, and there is no publication in this area that can be read. "Modern Buddhism" is not led by Marxists, and the level of articles is also very low.In other publications, there are very few articles written from the viewpoint of historical materialism. For example, the few articles on Buddhism published by Ren Jiyu[3] are very rare, and those who talk about Jesus and Islam have never seen it.You cannot write a good history of philosophy without critical theology, nor can you write a good history of literature or world history.Comrades in the Propaganda Department please consider this point.
