Regarding Masahiko Fujiwara's book, I still agree with some of its views.But throughout the article, he basically advocated the ideas of "stop thinking", "small wealth is safe", and "self-styled country". As for how Japan can get out of the current predicament, he brought up the "spirit of Bushido". For these, I absolutely cannot agree. This is the same as the "beautiful country" advocated by Shinzo Abe. There is no specific and feasible solution at all, and it is all useless empty words. In addition, I also find it absurd to say "Americanization in the name of internationalization" mentioned earlier in this book.

In today's era, the expression of internationalization is "removal of the United States", which means that the statement "internationalization = Americanization" itself is contrary to the current situation.Now, no matter Europe, Asia, or even South America are no longer attached to the United States, but under the wave of global integration, they are groping their own way to the economy of the 21st century.Although the financial crisis in 2008 marked the end of the trend of "leaving the United States", such a sprout had already appeared in 2005 when he wrote this book.

From this point of view, when the book "National Character" was selling well, the situation in Japan should have made us worried.But the Japanese people at that time did not think so much at all, and this book just legitimized this state of stopping thinking, so so many people read this book. This may be the real intention of the author Masahiko Fujiwara, but Japan, which "walks alone", is in crisis. The girdle of this book reads "An epoch-making theory that gives confidence and pride to all Japanese!" It is important to have pride and self-confidence, but it is not good to have no basis.It is also very regrettable that the book does not give any explanation on the method of restoring self-confidence.

If I were forced to list the good things about this book, I think there is only one good thing in this book, and that is the point of "having self-confidence", which is repeatedly advocated although baseless.I think the Japanese people nowadays are too introverted, depressed, and old-fashioned, and changing this situation is the most important thing. However, "National Character" itself is a book of "true conservative, false positive". In the past, I always tried my best to repeatedly write down my views and opinions on the government in a serious book, and I would speak out boldly even if there were some unpleasant words. I think I will still put forward more opinions to the government in the future.

If the Japanese can understand and accept my opinions, and take active actions to change for the better, there is still hope for Japan, otherwise there is no way out.If they understand it, but don't accept it, they can send me back questions, and even if their proposal differs from mine, we can still discuss it. However, that is no longer the case. Compared with when I published "New Wealth of Nations" and "Heisei Restoration", the current situation is very different.Especially in the past 15 years, I have deeply realized this.Generally speaking, readers can no longer think. Although it is not a good thing to say that my compatriots have low IQs, I have to admit this fact.

In fact, before I published "Instant Power", I originally wanted to write a book based on a proposal to the government for 10 years, but in the end I gave up because I felt that "it's too much to say".So during this period, I have been working on writing books on consciousness reform and entrepreneurship, as well as some books on the economy of China and Eastern Europe under the wave of economic globalization.
