Chapter 9 Chapter 7 Golden Half Hour

life plan 格莱恩·布兰德 6924Words 2018-03-18
We live in a very complex world!People today no longer get up at the crack of dawn to milk the cows, collect the eggs, and have the leisure to watch the beautiful sun rise.People who live this kind of life have ample opportunity to keep in step with the world around them.Mother Nature constantly reminded him of the never-failing laws of nature provided by the Creator, and he saw them everywhere at the birth of a calf, at the hatching of an egg, at the growth of a corn stalk. Evidence of a power over all.He heard the birds sing and the chicks twitter; he saw the wild geese fly south for the winter, and the rowan rats gather nuts before the snow fell. His loyal beliefs are connected to everything he sees and feels every day.He has peace of mind and time to think. His surroundings created it all for him. Now, in contrast, let us take a look at a man living in modern times. He sleeps in as late as possible and doesn't get up, sipping a cup of coffee on the way to work.He drove through the morning rush hour in the afternoon, honking his horn and cursing other drivers. When you stop at a red light, the tires squeal, squeeze as far as possible to the outer ring, so as to seize the opportunity in the next turn.He arrives at his place of work, finds a place to park, waits for the next elevator, and finally sits down at his desk, ready for the day's chances. What kind of mental state do you think such a modern gentleman would be in?I deeply doubt that this is a positive and peaceful state of mind.As we progress, we leave behind the peace and quiet we once enjoyed, and it is impossible for our modern surroundings to spontaneously create an entire atmosphere befitting a slow-down.The result is that we lose the wonderful blessings that have always been available to us.

There are probably some people who live in New York City who have never seen green grass, and their world is a world of steel and concrete. No matter where you live and work, I want to teach you to get as much out of your life as possible.By setting aside 30 minutes each morning for what I call devotional time—by being completely alone with yourself, it is possible for you to accomplish this.Thomas A. Edison said, "In order to think a great deal clearly, a man must arrange for regular hours of solitude, when he can concentrate and let his imagination run undisturbed." Moments of Devotion It is a very important part of the whole goal setting and planning method.Without devotion, no goal or plan can become a reality.Since piety is so important to Brand's approach to goal setting and planning, we should stop and define the word "piety" first. The Bible says: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, It is the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1) Faith is something you still have even after you lose everything. It is the most powerful driving force in the world, and millions of people look to the future with great hope because they have faith.Hope and expectation are meaningless without devotion.Jesus' teaching is based on piety. He pointed out that faith is the powerful force that makes good things happen in one's life.He also pointed out that most of us have very little faith. He said, "Because a man with as much faith as a mustard seed can say to this mountain 'Move!' and it will move elsewhere. Nothing will be impossible." Through these words , he puts most of us in their proper place.Have you ever seen a mustard seed?Do you know how small it is?A mustard seed is so tiny that you can hold hundreds of them in a teaspoon.Just think about the incredible things we would be able to accomplish if we could bring our confidence to such a small level. That's what Hours of Devotion is all about. Its sole purpose is to help you develop the confidence that will enable you to accomplish great things.

Let's take a look at how to set up your own "moments of devotion" mode. This is the most critical component of your approach to goals and planning, but "moment of devotion" should be a very personal thing! Its intent is to bring you into harmony with the Great, Infinite, Intelligent Master of the Universe. In him lurks wisdom and knowledge and all powerful and untapped treasures. "Moments of Devotion" will give you great inspiration. And remember: no great thing is accomplished without inspiration.First, you have to get into the habit of being an early riser. There was a time in my life when I used to set my alarm for just half an hour before I had to leave for work.I woke up and sprint--dash--dash and rushed to the office, neither physically nor mentally prepared for all the challenges and strains of the day.

The time of each morning is the stage of preparation for the activities of the whole day.If you're having a good time during that time, you're going to be having a good time throughout the day. These days, I wake up at 5:30 every morning and slowly start getting ready for my day.Turning on the shower, the relaxing water washes over me, and I get in the habit of thinking about some good things.I'm very, very grateful for, just for me to be alive and to be able to serve my mates.I'm grateful for my good friends and my business partners, and I'm grateful for the perfect life I'm living.I look forward to this day in the future with great expectations that good things will happen.I ate a modest breakfast and drove to my office, arriving at half past six.Arriving at the office at this time of day creates a powerful sense of power and authority within the person. At this time of day, you may be the only one willing to do so.And those other people you see going to work because they have to, that's the difference!

A few hours of beauty and peace each morning are now a part of you.You truly feel that you are way ahead of everyone else, and you are!You feel the world is yours to get, and it is!You feel that you can conquer any obstacle that stands between you and your goal, and you can!By developing the habit of being a morning person, you now have the same advantage in your life as a champion runner, you are allowed to run a 100-yard dash 10 yards ahead of your opponent, and you have Get off to a head start, and by doing your best, you'll be able to maintain that lead and win the race. The "Bible" said: "Don't sleep too much, so you don't get poor; open your eyes and you will be full." (Proverbs 20:13) Another important point is that I have developed a habit of thinking about those hours when I get up early. The habit of greeting everyone you meet. These greetings and greetings give great motivation to others to work hard throughout the day, but I am the one who benefits the most from them, because giving them makes me feel happy inside.I greeted with pleasure everyone I met, the gas station attendant filling my tank, the handyman sweeping the hallway, the elevator operator—they were all people doing important jobs, and I also sincerely try to add some extra joy to their lives.Maybe I'd be the only one talking to them gently all day?Start now by getting up early, using your time, being a pleasant, friendly human being and you will have many, many friends as a result. You're probably thinking, "You guy, there's no way I'm going to get up early and be a happy, friendly person. I'm always up late!" Let me tell you something that will comfort you.I used to feel that way too.Learning to wake up early involves forming a new habit, so there is some cost to you at first, but once you get into the habit, you'll wonder how you ever lived any other way. You'll find that your early morning hours and your "devotion moments" become some of your happiest and most rewarding times of the day.

Early in the morning, one's mind is completely at ease and free to think because it has just woken up from a good night's sleep. The mind is not filled with thousands of trivial things as it is at the end of the day.Early in the morning, a person can engage in his most creative thinking. No matter what your existing sleep habits may be, you need to become a morning person. When I arrived at my office at half past six in the morning.Immediately I began my "devotion hour" by closing the door of my office and turning on only one light so that I could have complete privacy and a soft and warm atmosphere suitable for contemplation.Once the preparations are in place, I start in the following way: I sit in a comfortable chair, tilt my head back, control the direction of my thoughts, and allow my entire body to relax completely.

The complete relaxation of the body frees the mind to contemplate. In my mind I talk to every part of my body, starting with my toes: my toes are completely relaxed. My feet are completely relaxed. My legs are completely relaxed. My hips are completely relaxed. My stomach is completely relaxed. My chest is completely relaxed. My heart is completely relaxed. My hands are completely relaxed. My arms are completely relaxed. My neck is completely relaxed. My cheeks are completely relaxed. My mind is totally relaxed. My whole body is now completely relaxed, ready for meditation -- completely relaxed. When my body has reached a stage of total relaxation, I recite the following meditative sentences. "Slow me down, O Creator! Let my heart beat quicker, and my brain be still. Let my hasty steps settle, and let them take on an aspect of eternal time. Give me, In the midst of the confusion and confusion of my day, give me eternal mountain-like calm. Take the tension out of my nerves with the soothing music of the singing water that lives in my memory. Help me to understand The restorative magic of sleep. Taught me that art. Use every short break you get from slowing down to see a flower; to chat with an old friend; or to meet a new one; to raise a stray pet dog; to watch a spider spin a web; to smile at a child; or, to read a few lines from the inside of a book. A daily reminder that competition doesn't always require fast pace; There is something else in life above it than speed. Let me look up into the depths of the towering oak's foliage and know that it grows so tall because it grows slowly and well Be strong. Let me slow down, O Creator, inspire me, and let my roots sink deep into the soil of things of enduring value in life, so that I may move toward the goal of my good destiny. Stars grow. At this moment, my mind is fully ready to receive inspiration. Those thoughts before this must be deeply etched into memory through daily repetition. I read the ninety-first chapter of the Bible Hymn to continue my "hour of devotion": "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall dwell in the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God and my trust. ' He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the poisonous plague. He will cover you with his feathers, and you will take refuge under his wings. His honesty is the size of the shoulder card. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day; nor the plague that travels by night, nor the poison that destroys at noon.Though a thousand people fall on your left hand, and ten thousand people fall on your right hand, this disaster will not come to you.You can only see with your own eyes, and see the retribution of the wicked. The Lord is my refuge. You have made the Most High your dwelling place, and no evil will come upon you, neither disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels for you to guard you in all your ways. They will support you with their hands, lest your foot touch a stone. You will tread on lions and vipers, and trample young lions and serpents under your feet.God said: Because he loves me with all his heart, I will rescue him; because he knows my name, I will place him on high.If he calls to me, I will answer him; in his distress, I will be with him.I will rescue him and honor him.I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation. "One should not entrust his devotion to another. Others will not be able to save you from failure, because human beings are imperfect by nature. They are incapable of understanding you perfectly and loving you perfectly .Depending on others will bring you down again and again. Many people around me have said that the reason they felt they were going down the wrong path in life was because they were being led the wrong way by someone.

So don't entrust your faith to someone, entrust your faith to God and His promises, and you will have the strength to survive any bad situation!Direct your faith to principles that will keep you safe. Emerson once said wisely: "When alone, a person is sincere, but when in contact with another person, he begins to be hypocritical." "Moment of devotion" is to give you the opportunity to be sincere. Take time for yourself.A man needs to have time alone with his God every day, which helps him to maintain the right attitude towards life.As I continue my "devotion hour," I have a mental conversation with God.

People have asked me "How do you do this?" Here's the answer I've given them, and it's the approach I've taken in my own life.I envision God sitting on a chair in the same room as me.I imagined him to be the closest friend I've ever had, and I simply talked to him in my mind.I imagine him not only as the closest and most faithful friend I ever had, but also as the wisest. He has the answers to all questions.I use the following methods to conduct a conversation with him.First, the Creator is the One who forgives. There is little reason for a man to bear the burden of the mistakes he has made throughout his life.If I ever made any mistakes that I can recall, I discussed them with him and asked him to remove the burden from me, which he did!

Once the weight is removed, my mind is free to work and create. It is in the Creator's plan that forgiveness is provided for the mistakes that a person makes in life. Then I thank him for all the good things that have happened to me the day before. My thoughts then turn to the interests of others.I express my concern for those I love, those in need, those in need, and I express my concern for those I oppose. It turns out that when a person is willing to consider the needs of others, his own attitude towards life is greatly improved. Then my thoughts turned to my own personal needs, both problems and opportunities. In my mind I seek answers and results, claiming the promises I deserve. "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11:24) God also gave us a promise: "Ask, and it will be given to you; Seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks the door will be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8). You have to expect Watching a Miracle After this contemplative section, the "moment of devotion" comes to an end, and it's time to realign your thinking with important goals and plans. If you keep your goals in front of you every day, they are sure to one day become reality. How can you do this? You can actively meditate on your goals and plans in your conscious and subconscious mind.A person's conscious mind can regulate his subconscious mind, and the subconscious mind brings thoughts into reality.By feeding information to the subconscious mind over and over again, one can make it a program.Repetition indelibly engraves the contents of a man's conscious mind into his subconscious mind.Understanding your subconscious mind is vital if you want to be successful in setting goals and making plans.Your subconscious mind can be compared to a very fertile farmland.Soil doesn't care what is planted in it.The opportunity to make a choice is left to the farmer. The land will only take what you plant, make it grow, and give you back in abundance.Remember, your subconscious mind doesn't care what you plant. This is strictly up to you as a person. You can grow both good and evil things, and they will all grow equally well. The subconscious mind cannot make choices. It can only react based on the information it receives.Your body and conscious mind may need rest in order to recharge, but the subconscious mind never rests. The subconscious mind works twenty-four hours a day.The subconscious mind maintains the link between a person's psyche and the treasure trove of accumulated experience from generation to generation that is available to anyone. What happens when a person has exhausted all the resources he has at his disposal to solve a problem, and there is nothing left to do?

At that time, those who are in harmony with the great laws of nature will draw strength from James 1:5: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let it be given to all and reproach no one. God, God will give it to him." When you feel hopeless, you will get inspiration. You may feel that inspiration hits you like lightning when trying on a pair of shoes, walking or driving. mind! When inspiration finally strikes, it will appear so clear and simple that you'll be amazed why you never thought of it before. This is how the subconscious mind works, and I will not exhaustively explain why it works this way. It is not my purpose to teach you how to make a watch, but my purpose is to teach you how to read a watch.I will teach you how to cultivate your subconscious mind. You must use your "devotional moments" and other moments of the day that you are willing to meditate on to think about your goals and plans. As you meditate, read your action plan section and read through your monthly calendar. Then check your weekly calendar to make sure every priority item and its details are written down. The next step will be to transfer the plans from the weekly calendar to the daily calendar, and then take action to make them a reality! Another thing you must do in order to successfully set goals and plan is to use a "Devotion Card." Guidance on how to use your own personal Devotion Card can be found in the Action Planning section below. You must carry your devotion cards with you at all times and read them three times a day, before breakfast, before lunch and at night before you go to bed, where you will also find instructions on how to make a visual chart to Keep your goals in front of you with guidance.I have given you a detailed example of how I personally conduct my own "moments of devotion."This example will help you design one for yourself.Take 30 minutes every morning, find a place where you can be alone, follow a definite way, if you do this, your life will change for the better immediately, within 10 to 30 days After the first stage you will experience some wonderful things that happened to you worth writing about.Without its help, you will be less likely to have the opportunity to begin to realize your full potential to become a happy and successful person and live a balanced life.Life is opportunity, nothing else. And Moments of Devotion will help you take advantage of your opportunities. You must stop thinking about those things that scare you, and keep faith! "I will teach you, I will show you the way you should go; I will fix my eyes on you and admonish you." (Psalm 32:8) If you have faith, You can do it! Before proceeding to the next chapter, you must accept the following principles: First, you need a golden 30 minutes each morning to meditate, plan and organize your activities throughout the day. Second, you must develop an organized method for conducting your own "moment of devotion." Third, as your confidence grows, so will your performance. Fourth, by using "moments of devotion", you can adjust your thinking and achieve happiness and success.Accepting these principles is a step toward a happy and abundant life. KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER First, no goal or plan can be realized without devotion. Second, piety is what is left to you after all else has been lost. Third, hopes and expectations without piety are fruitless. Fourth, allow a few hours each morning to prepare for the activities of the day. Fifth, turn your faith toward God and His promises, and you will have the strength to survive any adverse situation! Sixth, if you keep your goals before your eyes every day, they are bound to become reality one day. Seventh, repetition causes your conscious thoughts to be indelibly etched into your subconscious mind. Eighth, those who are in harmony with the Creator will have access to all resources of human knowledge and experience as well as the wisdom of God. Ninth, life is nothing but opportunities, and Moments of Devotion will help you take advantage of your opportunities. Tenth, you must stop thinking about those things that you are afraid of, and have faith! Eleventh, if you have faith, you can do it.
