Chapter 40 Chapter Forty

i promise... I declare... I swear...never forget that the Almighty has given me the greatest gift, and that is prayer.Victory or setback, love or heartbreak, ecstasy or pain, approval or rejection, success or failure, I can always ignite faith in my heart in prayer. This faith has carried me through the fog of doubt, out of the empty darkness, across the thorny road of disease and pain, free from dangerous temptations. Now God will only listen if you speak from your heart. In the morning, prayer is the key to wealth that God has given me.At night, prayers keep me safe. As long as we can pray, hope and courage will never die.Without prayer, I am helpless; with it, anything is possible.May this tenth and final vow guide my life forever.

Through prayer, I am forever connected to the Almighty. The shorter the words, the better the prayer. My prayer will be simply... praying to an unknown friend My special friend, thank you for listening. You know, I'm trying to live up to your trust in me. Thank you for letting me live on this piece of music.Let me work and play, but don't separate me from my family for too long because they are intoxicating. Taught me the art of living, fairness, courage, fortitude, confidence. Give me friends who understand me and don't leave me. Give me a tolerant heart and a fearless heart, so that I will not shrink back even if I go alone to a place where no one has ever set foot.

Give me a sense of humor and some carefree leisure. Help me strive for the highest wisdom, ambition and opportunity.Let me never forget to reach out to those in need of inspiration and help. Give me the strength to meet any journey ahead.Let me double my courage in crisis, move forward in suffering, keep calm in anger, and prepare for any change of opportunity. Let me replace a sad look with a smile, and a kind word for rudeness. Let me sympathize with the pain of others, let me feel. There are hidden distresses in every life, no matter how smug it may seem. Let me be respectful about everything in life, without being overly vain or self-pitying.

In grief, let me think that there is no sunshine without shadow, so that I will leave the abyss of distress. When I fail, it makes me more confident. When I succeed, let me be humble. Let me do all the work and try to do more and better, and when I am done, pay me accordingly and allow me to express my deep gratitude.
