A child is naturally inclined to friendly affections, because all around him are there to help him, and from such experiences he develops habits of kindness to his fellow beings.However, as the relationship expands, he becomes aware of his relationship to others, which leads to a sense of responsibility and an inner disposition.Then the child becomes bossy, jealous, deceitful, and vengeful.If obedience is forced on him, and he sees no use in doing so himself, he will interpret this as our grotesque, thinking that we are torturing him, and he will naturally rebel.
