人民日报7月29讯（记者江南）最近，杭州市各个社区内陆续出现了外观统一的社区警务室，设有醒目的报警灯箱，公开服务承诺、联系方式，“社区民警”逐渐取代了传统的“片儿警”。每个社区一般配置2名民警，有的警务室还配备了联网电脑。社区民警的工作职责包括常住、暂住人口管理，社区安全防范及治安管理，受理群众的报警、求助、咨询，办理有关证照等。经群众选举，269名社区民警还担任了社区居委会兼职副主任，负责协调社区治安综合治理。
