Lin Huiyin 张清平 1128Words 2018-03-16
Huiyin was born in Hangzhou on June 10, 1904.Grandfather Lin Xiaoxun heard the news of his granddaughter's birth, and happily recited a poem in "The Book of Songs: Daya": "Siqi Daren, the mother of King Wen. Simei Zhou Jiang, the wife of the Beijing family. The big Si's heir Huiyin is Bai Sinan. .” He named his granddaughter Huiyin. Huiyin was renamed Huiyin in the early 1930s.At that time, her works were often published in newspapers, and another male author who often wrote poems was named Lin Weiyin. When newspapers and magazines published their works, they often confused their names. "Poetry Magazine" also issued a correction statement for this purpose.

Huiyin said: I am not afraid that others will take my works as his works, but I am only afraid that others will take his works as mine. From then on, Lin Huiyin changed her name to Lin Huiyin. Lin Huiyin was originally from Minhou, Fujian. His grandfather, Lin Xiaoxun, styled Boying, was a Jinshi in the 15th year of Guangxu (1889). He was awarded the editorship of the Imperial Academy and has been an official in Zhejiang. He successively served as magistrate of Jinhua, Shimen, Renhe, Xiaofeng counties and Haining prefecture.During his tenure, he founded Yangzheng Shushu School and Sericulture Vocational School, and was one of the pioneers in establishing new schools in the late Qing Dynasty.

Lin Xiaoxun had five daughters and two sons and seven children, and Huiyin's father, Lin Changmin, was the eldest son.For the education of the Lin family's nephews, Lin Xiaoxun set up a private school at his home in Hangzhou. The family school is divided into two classes: Guoxue and Xinxue. Guoxue invited Lin Shu as the lecturer, and Xinxue invited Lin Baishui as the lecturer.Huiyin's father, uncles and aunts laid a solid foundation of Chinese learning since childhood, and were enlightened by new learning. When Huiyin was two years old, his father went to Japan to study politics and law at Waseda University.Huiyin and his mother lived with their grandparents.

In Huiyin's childhood memory, his father was the person who was not at home as an adult, and his father was letters sent back from Japan. Those letters were all addressed to grandparents, in which they criticized the current situation, talked about politics, and expressed their ambitions; Huiyin and mother were a greeting that his father wrote at the end of the letter. Huiyin is 4 years old.Her grandfather asked her to follow her cousin, and her eldest aunt taught her to study. Huiyin likes to read and play with her cousins. The eldest cousin Meng Yu and the second cousin Meng Liang are the daughters of the eldest aunt, and the third cousin Yuer is the daughter of the third aunt.Meng Yu was five years older than Huiyin, Meng Liang was three years older than Huiyin, and Yu'er was two years older than Huiyin. When the four girls are together, they seem like one person at one time, and at the other they will argue endlessly over trivial matters. The eldest aunt always let them make a fuss, and she would not come forward to mediate unless it was time to deal with it.

The eldest aunt often praised Huiyin's intelligence and beauty to her family.Among the sisters who were studying together, Shu Huiyin was the youngest and the most fun-loving. She seemed to be careless when listening to the lectures, but whenever she was asked to recite the book, she always recited it eloquently and articulately. In 1910, Lin Changmin graduated from Waseda University. After returning to China, he and his classmate Liu Chongyou founded the Fuzhou Private School of Law and Politics in his hometown of Fujian, and he served as the principal. In 1911, the Wuchang Uprising broke out.Lin Changmin handed over the management of the School of Law and Politics to others. He traveled around Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing and other places to promote the revolution everywhere. After the establishment of the Nanjing Provisional Government, he served as the Secretary-General of the Senate of the Provisional Government. He initiated and organized the "Republic Construction Seminar", supported Liang Qichao, who was in exile in Japan, as a leader, and urged him to return to China.

In the early years of the Republic of China, all kinds of political forces "chaotically come to the stage after you sing and I come on stage".Lin Changmin, as a celebrity of the constitutionalists in the early Republic of China, always supported the republic with a clear-cut stand and opposed restoration.During Zhang Xun's restoration, Lin Changmin, then a counselor of the State Council, supported Duan Qirui's crusade against Zhang Xun's restoration, and was later appointed by Duan Qirui's government as the Chief Justice. Following Lin Changmin's promotion, Huiyin's family moved from Hangzhou to Shanghai, and then to Beijing.
