The Buddha has a clear understanding of Ngawang Gyatso's little thoughts every day: he wanders in a state of perplexity for a while, feels restless for a while, and enjoys dancing for a while.A heart full of emotions was beating in Ngawang Gyatso's chest, and he needed to wait for an opportunity to explode himself. At the same time, the wheel of time is turning forward without missing a second. In a blink of an eye, it was the summer of 1697. The plateau is not like the southeast, where the heat is unbearable all day long. It's just that the temperature varies greatly within a day. At noon, you are sweating profusely, and you want to take off all your robes, but there will still be a slight chill in the morning or evening. But the scorching heat of the day was still unbearable.Seeing the big crystal dewdrops on the leaves, in a blink of an eye, they were tanned by the bright red sun without leaving a trace, as if they had never existed. The earth, being exposed to the sun until it is hungry and thirsty, just waits for the occasional rain to relieve the dryness of the earth.

The emotion in Ngawang Gyatso's heart was also hot, and only the clarity of his eyes could solve his lovesickness.Usually people like such sunny and rainy days, which is a gift of nature and will make the crops grow extraordinarily well. But for Ngawang Gyatso, this is more and more torment.Every time after the rain, the scorching heat scorched his heart and made him more urgently hope for the coolness to come. Ngawang Gyatso was tired of the pain of lovesickness, he wanted to bathe in the clear spring every day to experience the comfort of being cool and soothing. He wrote a love poem for her and rushed out of the temple gate with great interest. But soon, he got out of the heavy rain and went back to the temple. His body was already soaked, but he didn't care about wringing the rainwater from his body, but hurriedly took out the letter paper on his chest. The expression on his face seemed to be annoyed, angry, and sad, and even the knotted hemp rope could not describe his entanglement.

The ink on the letter paper was soaked by the rain, and the handwriting spread around, turning into a black mass, and the words were already unreadable.Ngawang Gyatso regretted in every possible way, he blamed himself for not keeping the love letter properly. The love for Rigzin Wangmu written in it was soaked by the rain.It was the ignorance of a little poet, which disappeared in the rain. He thought of Rigzin Wangmo, she must watch the rain by the window.A warm feeling suddenly surged in his heart, he suddenly realized that the only thing that can be wetted by rain is the written words, what can't be wetted is the fire in his heart. There was a smile on the corner of his mouth, and he wrote a poem at the moment:

The handwritten Yao paper was drenched by the rain, Fuzzy stippling fee search, Even if the words in the book are wiped out, Difficult to destroy a lover's heart. (Translated by Zeng Yan) In Tsangyang Gyatso's dictionary, it seems that the ultimate beauty is regarded as the only mantra.Books, handwriting, light rain, a few simple images, will fully express affection. It seems that regardless of whether it is the reincarnation of a god, he at least exists on the premise of a person. There is no difference between people emotionally. When Ngawang Gyatso wrote this beautiful text, I don't know if he had any comprehension.Although he was interceding, his Buddhist cultivation enabled him to express a truth in his words: the heart can transcend external things.

We are in the material world, and matter fills every corner of our bodies. But the Buddha said that these substances are not the truth of the world, they are just illusory realms.Only a heart that can know the truth can see through these falsehoods. But the heavy material confuses our eyes and makes us take falsehood as reality. Our hearts are blinded by matter, and we cannot see the truth clearly. The Buddha's teachings to people are to point out the direction for people's hearts, let people see through the illusion of matter, and understand the importance of inner wisdom. Therefore, the dependent origination and cessation of external objects is not important. The important thing is to keep clarity in your heart.Just like this love for letters, letters are foreign objects, whether it exists or not, it will not affect the hot emotion in my heart.Even if the letter is destroyed, the emotion in the heart will not be destroyed because of it.Conversely, if the emotion in the heart is gone, it doesn't matter whether the letter exists or not.

To understand this, it is important to know the heart. To learn Buddhism is to cultivate the mind.Cultivate a heart that is not moved by external objects, and in this material world, you will not be fettered by it and you will be free. Ngawang Gyatso has an exquisite and transparent heart, and he understands the Buddha's teachings at a glance. But what Ngawang Gyatso yearns for is not the freedom not to be moved by external objects, but what he yearns for is the friendship in this world of sentient beings. This is his unbroken connection with this world. His whole life is destined to invest in this sentient being, and there is no way back.

Being sentient is not a sin, but attachment can become suffering. What Ngawang Gyatso expected in his heart was not a platonic love affair. He likes the tacit understanding when his parents look at each other, and he likes the joy when his parents embrace him.He believes that if you love someone, you should hold her hand and spend your whole life with her.Hold your hand and grow old with you.Come to think of it, this is all the vision of Ngawang Gyatso. He wanted to hold her hand, go to their favorite places, and see her smiling like a flower. He plucked up his courage, went to the door of her house, and let the passion burning in his heart lead him to express his emotions. We don't know what kind of way he used to express himself. But we know that he saw her smiling like a flower.

She took his hand. Her hands were soft and delicate, not like Grandma's callused hands, but they could also transmit warmth to his palm.He likes to hold her hand. These hands make him feel real. He knows that there is someone in this world who is sincerely caring for him. This is the love closest to his heart after removing his parents. He makes a pact of love with her and they become an intimate couple. They will go to the countryside to graze together, observe vultures circling and flying in the blue sky together, point to the snow on the mountains in the distance and giggle together, and look forward to the blooming of Gesang flowers together. They do everything they think is the most beautiful, so that every corner of their bodies can be filled with happiness and satisfaction.

Thinking about it, this is the love affair that belongs to children. It cannot be simpler than plain water, but it can also let them taste all kinds of flavors. The relationship between Ngawang Gyatso and Rigzin Wangmo naturally developed in this way.In their view, this is nothing more than normal. But in the Han area, those who convert to Buddhism must stay away from the world and practice purely with the six sense organs. Not to mention marrying a wife and having children, even falling in love is not allowed. But what Ngawang Gyatso was in was a monastery of the Red Sect, and the entire Menyu area was the sphere of influence of the Red Sect. The Red Sect is the oldest religious sect in Tibetan Buddhism.

The Red Sect founded by Padmasambhava advocates that the human heart is inherently pure, as long as it is not pretentious or deceived, any behavior will not hinder the purity of its original heart. Therefore, the Red Sect has no hard and fast rules for monks to eat meat, drink alcohol, marry wives, etc. Therefore, for the Menyu area where the Red Sect is widely believed, it is not an act of deviant for lamas to marry and have children. They believe that this is the law of the universe. As long as there are no evil thoughts in the heart, as long as the heart is kept pure, such a combination is originally beautiful.

Therefore, not only is it not strange for monks to marry wives, but even girls are willing to marry monks as wives. In their conception, monks have a sacred status, they can help them practice together, and they can get more blessings in the afterlife. The marriage of monks is a sacred and happy thing. However, Ngawang Gyatso didn't think so far, he didn't want to attain enlightenment with anyone. His ideals are not so lofty yet. What's more, he hasn't been ordained yet, so he can't be regarded as a real lama.He has the freedom of marriage and love, and he can leave the monastery at any time to live the life of a layman. In his heart, the Buddha can also be filled with the pure heart of cultivating Buddha. Therefore, what he wants is to complete his practice, then marry that girl, and marry him for three lifetimes, and have a sweet and warm home like his parents. The family doesn't need splendor, pavilions, towers, pavilions, or impenetrable watertight, just you and your loved one, he plows the field and she weaves, he chops firewood and she cooks. When you are so in love, you can always throw away all kinds of worldly disturbances and enjoy short-lived and splendid happiness.I always thought that as long as two people love each other, they can break the rules.Identity, status, responsibility and time, etc., are not a problem. However, fate always likes to joke with people. It is always like the silk thread on a marionette, thin, but you can never break free, once you break free, it is a life-and-death exchange of life and death.God keeps arranging love and hatred, meeting and parting, whether people are willing to accept it or not, people have to bear the ending and consequences. The love is as deep as the sea, and the love is hard to extinguish, but why the fate is shallow! At this moment, God seems to have decided to play tricks on this young man and let his joy turn into a tragic ending.
