Since when, the wind far away has brought Tibetan poems, and they are stories sung in the wind one by one. I have never heard the rap of "King Gesar", but I know that it is an ancient and classic ballad of a nation. It allows poetry to penetrate deep into the hearts of every Tibetan, and even when speaking, they are accustomed to using poetic metaphors. There is a respected venerable by Tibetans called Milarepa. He uses poetry to convey the wisdom of Buddhism, and the Buddhist principles in poetry become a refreshing breeze to cleanse the hearts of Tibetans. There is also a wise man named Sakya, who wrote "Sakya's Proverbs" in poems, teaching Tibetans to distinguish between wisdom and foolishness, to promote the good and devalue the evil...

I believe that poetry is the soul that infiltrates the blood of Tibetans. It nourishes the heart of a nation in the snow-capped mountains and meadows on the plateau, in the cold wind and snow.I believe that poetry allows this nation to see a broader sky in the midst of difficulties, and to live a life of beauty amidst the harshness.Poetry has become the sustenance of that distant place. Tibet is a region where poetry is paved, but the poetry of all people is not as warm as that of one person. He is the sixth Dalai Lama - Tsangyang Gyatso. Others can use the most beautiful rhetoric, the most regular rhythm, or the most vivid metaphors, but the feelings they express are not as true as those of Tsangyang Gyatso. In Tsangyang Gyatso's life, he had the most loveless identity, and he used this identity to pursue love.It is this kind of contrast that makes his love so intense, and makes his poems so heart-warming.

Wishing for it, it is a person who normally has the power of love, all the troubles. As a monk, he should get rid of these troubles. When he can't get rid of them, his identity will magnify the troubles a hundred times. What's more, he is a living Buddha, a monk among the monks. Since birth, Cangyang Gyatso was doomed to experience an emotional nightmare. He will have the supreme position, but the price of it is that he must give up all love.Lovely seeds had been planted in his heart long ago, and beautiful flowers had grown out.But his identity made him have to cut off that carefully cultivated flower, how could he let it go? !

Therefore, he used stubbornness to fight, hoping to obtain what this high status does not allow-emotion.He uses love songs of the most emotional and sexual nature to make friends and enjoy them, but in the end, at the threshold of identity, he will cut his own heart and even his own life with love. This is a tragedy. The more beautiful the love song, the more sad it is.But it has already begun, and it will be played to the end. To talk about the sixth Dalai Lama, we must start with the reincarnation. In Tibet, there is a unique reincarnation system: after the death of eminent monks, their past events will not be completely forgotten. In the next reincarnation, they will retain part of the memory of the previous life, and guide such children. And practice will be improved on the basis of previous lives. This is the realistic version of the Buddhist reincarnation theory. These eminent monks who can be reincarnated are called living Buddhas, and their reincarnated children are called reincarnated soul boys.

We don't need to discuss whether reincarnation is true or false. As a cultural symbol, it has been passed down in Tibet for nearly a thousand years. It has become the hope in the hearts of the people, a hope to continue the culture. People all over the world regard Tibet as Shangri-La.There are alpine meadows, continuous snow-capped mountains, herds of cattle and sheep, and a pastoral song that hovers leisurely in the sky. That is the most beautiful scenery in Tibet, which often makes people forget that there is still severe cold on it.The harsh weather unique to the plateau makes Tibet not a livable world. The threat of survival always oppresses the people in this world. If the real life is difficult, then the only thing that can be hoped for is the afterlife.

In Buddhism, the reincarnation of ordinary people is created by the cause of the previous life.If you were a wicked person in your previous life, you will receive retribution in your reincarnation; if you were a good person in your previous life, you will receive a blessing in your reincarnation.Ordinary people only hope to live a good life in the afterlife, but they cannot see the unknown afterlife. The reincarnation of the eminent monks is giving ordinary people a reality check, allowing them to see the future, allowing them to foresee the future from today's life, and giving them the motivation to live. The reincarnated living Buddhas are role models in the hearts of Tibetans. They are god-like figures who guide Tibetans spiritually.

In order to shape such gods, Tibetan Buddhism will use all the power it can use to achieve reincarnated Living Buddhas. They are endowed with a dignified position, given the most profound codes, and they are to be cultivated to the highest virtues. Therefore, when some foreign media questioned whether the identification of the reincarnated soul boy might be mistaken, the disciples of Tibetan Buddhism said that it does not matter even if they were wrong, because they would give the soul boy the best education, and the soul boy would naturally become a respected person. living Buddha. But they may have forgotten that as a soul boy, a child also has his own dreams. He may not want to become a living Buddha, but he wants to live a more secular life. However, since the confirmation of the reincarnation system, the soul boys have not been given the opportunity to choose freely. This is the source of the tragedy of Tsangyang Gyatso.

Perhaps we should look at Tsangyang Gyatso's past life again.Their continuation is related to Tsangyang Gyatso's life. Although the reincarnation system began in the 12th century, the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism did not begin to establish the reincarnation system until the 16th century. The Gelug Sect, also known as the Yellow Sect, was not considered the largest religious sect in Tibet at that time. In 1542 AD, the Drepung Monastery in Lhasa was one of the four major monasteries of the Yellow Sect. The abbot of the monastery, Gendun Gyatso, passed away. His life was a life that laid the foundation for the prosperity of the Yellow Sect.

Gendun Gyatso entered the Tashilhunpo Monastery when he was 11 years old. This temple, located in Shigatse in Houzang, was the residence of the Panchen Lama later. In 1447, Gendun Zhuba, the youngest disciple of Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug Sect, went to Tibet to establish the Tashilhunpo Monastery. He lived here for 38 years, making it the largest temple in Tibet.Gendun Gyatso became a monk in such a big monastery. Although Gendun Gyatso was born in a poor family, he was extremely intelligent and quickly achieved success in his studies. But at this time, the forces supporting the Gelug faction in Houzang gradually declined.Under the persecution of hostile forces, Gendun Gyatso had to leave, went to Drepung Monastery in former Tibet, and became its abbot to promote the Gelug Sect.Gendun Gyatso's eastward journey to spread the Dharma laid the foundation for the Gelug Sect to unify Tibet later.

After Gendun Gyatso passed away, Drepung Monastery formed a team to search for Gendun Gyatso's reincarnated soul boy. In 1544, the reincarnated soul boy search group announced that Sonam Gyatso, a son of the nobleman Duilong, was the reincarnation of Gendun Gyatso. They also brought Sonam Gyatso to Drepung Monastery, allowing him to inherit the throne of Gendun Gyatso. After more than 30 years, Sonam Gyatso not only grew up, but also became a famous Gelug master in Tibet. He traveled around Tibet and recruited disciples everywhere, which not only increased the number of Gelug Sect followers, but also strengthened the position of Gelug Sect in Tibet and Qinghai.

At this time, Altan Khan, the leader of the Tumed tribe in Mongolia, wrote a letter to Sonam Gyatso, the words in the letter were quite pious.Altan Khan is a descendant of Genghis Khan. In order to develop Mongolia, he once came to Beijing and asked for business.Altan Khan's strategy was very insightful. Later, he negotiated peace with the Ming Dynasty and was named the King of Shunyi, enabling Ming and Mongolia to trade with each other and creating decades of peace between Ming and Mongolia. Facing this powerful political force, Sonam Gyatso gladly went.He had a long talk with Altan Khan, passing on the essence of the Gelug Sect.Altan Khan admired this young Living Buddha very much, and even compared their friendship to that of Kublai Khan and Phagsipa back then. Then he gave Sonam Gyatso an honorary title: "The Dalai Lama, Dalai Lama, Vazir Dalai Lama who knows everything", saying that he has achieved the highest achievement in both Sutra and Tantrism, and is an extraordinary and knowledgeable guru. The word "Dalai" means "sea" in Mongolian. In this way, Sonam Gyatso was regarded as a master whose knowledge was as vast as the ocean. Judging from the development of the Gelug sect, if they want to expand their power, they must rely on power. At that time, Altan Khan had been canonized by the imperial court and became a force backed by the imperial court.Sonam Gyatso also wanted to follow his example. So he asked Altan Khan to ask the emperor for a seal, and he himself wrote a letter to Zhang Juzheng, the prime minister of the Ming Dynasty, asking for a reward from the court. In 1587, the Ming government officially granted Sonam Gyatso the title of "Dalai Lama". He became a living Buddha recognized by the Ming government, and naturally possessed a status different from other living Buddhas.Later, the Tibetan Buddhist circle regarded Sonam Gyatso as the third Dalai Lama, his predecessor Gendun Gyatso was posthumously regarded as the second Dalai Lama, and Gendun Zhuba, who established the Tashilhunpo Monastery, was posthumously regarded as the first Dalai Lama. Dalai Lama. Since then, politics has become a footnote in the body of the third Dalai Lama, which has implicated all future generations of Dalai Lamas in politics. After the death of the third Dalai Lama, his reincarnation turned out to be Yunten Gyatso, the great-grandson of Altan Khan. The Mongolian army escorted Yundan Gyatso into Tibet, which made Mongolia's power stronger in Tibet. When the succession of the Dalai Lama was transferred to the Fifth Dalai Lama, the Yellow Sect was being threatened by the Bon (Black Sect), the Red Sect, and the White Sect, and the Fifth Dalai Lama had to ask the Mongols for help.He invited Gush Khan of Mongolia.Gush Khan quickly cleared the obstacles for the Yellow Sect, and the fifth Dalai Lama unified the religions of the whole of Tibet and became the leader of the whole of Tibet! At this time, the imperial court had changed to the Qing Dynasty. Hearing about the unification of politics and religion in Tibet, Shunzhi sent an invitation for this Tibetan religious leader to go to Beijing. The fifth Dalai Lama saw the Yellow Temple built for him by Shunzhi in Beijing, felt the enthusiasm of Shunzhi, and accepted the golden book and gold seal issued by Shunzhi for him.But at the same time, Gushi Khan was also awarded the Golden Book and Gold Seal.Shunzhi wanted Mongolian Khan to contain Tibet, the Dalai Lama was in charge of educational affairs, and Gushri Khan was in charge of government affairs. Regarding the arrangement of the Qing emperor, I don't know how the fifth Dalai Lama thought. But at this time, after all, he has the support of the emperor and is the largest religious leader in Tibet. He has too many things worth doing.I don't know if he has a premonition that this arrangement will become the fundamental point of his tragic life in the next life. In order to obtain a residence commensurate with his status, the Fifth Dalai Lama ordered the expansion of the Potala Palace. In order to marry Princess Wencheng, Songtsan Gampo built a fortress-like palace in Hongshan, a few kilometers away from Lhasa. But regime change, the palace that once symbolized power has been abandoned for a long time. But the fifth Dalai Lama likes this place, it is high on the top of Lhasa, and it has a special meaning. Back then, Songtsan Gampo called himself the reincarnation of Avalokitesvara. The reason why I call myself Avalokitesvara instead of other Buddhas is because of Avalokitesvara's unique identity.Guanyin is not a Buddha, and his rank is lower than Buddha, but his duty is to observe the voices of the people in the world. According to Buddhist scriptures, when Avalokitesvara was still the crown prince of the wheel-turning holy king, he made a vow: He will always assist people in the world to practice, and after entering the bodhisattva way, he will continue to save all living beings and never enter Nirvana. In various stories of Buddhist scriptures in later generations, Avalokitesvara is always in the world. He saves suffering and saves all living beings. He is the timely rain in the hearts of the people.Any hero who saves the world may be regarded as the incarnation of Avalokitesvara.Songtsen Gampo, who unified Tibet, is the greatest hero in Tibet, and he should be able to enjoy this status. In the Buddhist scriptures, the residence of Avalokitesvara is called "Potala", so this palace is also named "Potala Palace".It is the voyage of Avalokitesvara in the world and the symbol of God's presence in the world. And such a palace itself is a symbol of the combination of religion and politics. The Dalai Lama happens to be the reincarnation of Avalokiteshvara in Tibetan Buddhism.Coupled with his status as a unity of state and religion, there is no place more suitable for him than the Potala Palace. Therefore, the Potala Palace became the most ideal palace in the eyes of the fifth Dalai Lama, who wanted to exercise his supreme power during the voyage of Avalokitesvara. However, the Potala Palace, which has been abandoned for centuries, is small and dilapidated. What the fifth Dalai Lama wants is a building as magnificent as a mountain. So thousands of migrant workers were recruited and swarmed like ants on the top of Hongshan Mountain. The mountain was gradually hollowed out.In the grand vision of the Fifth Dalai Lama, the Potala Palace will be a magnificent palace that includes politics and religion. The majestic Potala Palace gradually took shape in front of the Fifth Dalai Lama. The former palace has become the religious center of Tibet. But he is getting old.His so-called "great" body can only shrink behind the thick walls of the Potala Palace to breathe. His old body is no longer able to drive this huge ferry. Later Tsangyang Gyatso once wrote a poem, which is very suitable to be placed here: In a blink of an eye, Yuanku is different, In the past, the fragrant grass turned into a flying canopy. Rao Jun is old and remains in shape, It becomes like a southern bamboo bow. (Translated by Zeng Yan) All the glory will be covered up by the decay of the twilight. The achievements of the past have become brocade flowers floating in the air, visible but intangible. In the old body, breathing the fragrance of brocade flowers, one can think about the past, but tremble about the future. The cycle of life has a beginning and an end.Its rotation is always faster than people think. The fleeting passing will hit people's misfortune hard and knock down self-confidence without leaving any residue. In the withered body, there is a rotten breath, as if making fun of the former youth. How many people can feel at ease with this day-to-day change?Even if you count the rosary in your hand, your heart may not be as calm as a mirror.Only by seeing through the endless rotation of the world, the endless life and death, can we accept any change calmly. Therefore, the Fifth Dalai Lama knows that he is different and that his life and death are just a part of reincarnation. His disappearance in this life does not mean that he has passed away. He can also expect that in the future, his next life will inherit all his glory.Even if he can only breathe today, he can hope to continue everything in the future. But he doesn't know that the brilliance he is carrying now is precisely the burden he cannot bear in his next life. The future Tsangyang Gyatso will stand on the wall of the Potala Palace, bewildered by what his past lives have done.
