The Chen family in Yining actually holds the pivot of the world's destiny, contains the news of the times, and is also the one entrusted by Chinese culture and academic ethics. ——Wu Mi's "Poems of Kongxuan" Wu Shichang and Tang Lan talked about the most learned scholars in the world Zeng Dayan said: "Today's scholars can be called a great group of books, one is Liang Rengong (Liang Qichao), one is Chen Yinke, one is you, and one is me." When Wu Mi first met Chen at Harvard, he declared to his friends that "combining all kinds of Chinese and Western cultures, old and new, I must regard Yin Ke as the most knowledgeable person in China."

Fu Sinian also said that Chen Yinke "is not as good as Qian Xiaozheng in Sinology". Fu Sinian commented on Chen Yinke: "Mr. Chen's knowledge is only one person in the past three hundred years!" Liang Qichao introduced Chen Yinke to others and said: "Mr. Chen's knowledge is better than mine." Later, when Liang Qichao recommended Chen Yinke to Tsinghua University President Cao Yunxiang, he said: "His works are not as valuable as Mr. Chen's few hundred words." Now both eyes are abolished. It is a great loss for the academic circle. .” Ji Xianlin said: "Mr. Yinke is a master of history. I am afraid this is the public opinion of the world, not the private words of his friends and disciples."

Wu Mi said: "Shi Mi met Chen Yinke at Harvard University in the eighth year of the Republic of China. At that time, he was amazed by his erudition, and admired his insight. He wrote to all friends in China, saying that all kinds of knowledge, old and new, Chinese and Western, are summarized. I Yin Ke must be regarded as the most knowledgeable person in the country...Although Yin Ke is my friend, he is actually my teacher."

In 1967, when Premier Zhou met with leaders of student rebel organizations in Guangzhou, he talked about "making the past serve the present" and said: "You can ask Mr. Chen Yinke of Sun Yat-sen University..." Yu Dawei said: Chen Yinke's lifelong wish is to write a book, "Lessons of Chinese History", and seek historical knowledge in history. Not only his personal tragedy, but also the tragedy of our time."
