Chen Yinke loves his students very much and cares about his juniors very much. He never asks for anything in return. These students didn't even know the teacher's support for him until many years later. In his memories in his later years, Ji Xianlin said that Chen Yinke was a person who "didn't understand how to hide his kindness all his life, and everyone talked about Xiang Si when he met people everywhere ("Tang Poetry Chronicle" contains: "Si, Ziqian, Jiangdong. At first, he was not a well-known person.  … ...I pay homage to Yang Jingzhi, Yang Kuai loves it, and I donate poems and so on. Soon, the poems will reach Chang'an, and I will be promoted next year." "Quan Tang Poems" included a volume of Xiang Si's poems, and there were no other outstanding achievements, only because of Yang He is known to later generations only after respecting this poem.)” The good Mr. is tolerant and helpful to others.Back then, Wu Mi rejected the student's pass in the Tsinghua Master's Examination because of a small problem. Chen Yinke felt it was unfair and argued for the student.

Chen Yinke touched Ji Xianlin the most in terms of supporting the backward. He said that he originally studied Western literature, and later changed his focus to Sanskrit and Pali, which was influenced by listening to Chen Yinke's "Buddhist scripture translation literature" at Tsinghua University. In 1945, Ji Xianlin had been studying in Germany for ten years and was about to return to China. When he heard that Chen Yinke was treating his eye disease in London, he wrote to him to report on his studies.Chen Yinke didn't know about Ji's studies at first, but when he heard that Waldschmidt, Ji's advisor, was actually his classmate, and that Ji's ancestor was his tutor, he immediately sent a long letter of encouragement to Ji Xianlin, and warmly recommended him For Hu Shi, Ji Xianlin became a professor at Peking University smoothly.Later, Chen Yinke read Ji Xianlin's paper "The Buddha and the Buddha" and highly praised it, and recommended it to the "Journal of the Institute of History and Philology of the Academia Sinica", which made Ji Xianlin "become worth a hundred times as soon as he climbed the Dragon Gate".When recalling Chen Yinke in his later years, Ji Xianlin said affectionately: "Without his influence, I would not have embarked on the path of scholarship that I am now taking, and I would not have come to Peking University either."

Lao Gan, a veteran student who lived in Taiwan in 1949, worked in the Institute of History and Philology of the Academia Sinica after graduating in his early years. After arriving in Taiwan, he was still working in the "Institute of History and Philology".After Fu Sinian's death, he participated in the work of sorting out Fu Sinian's posthumous manuscripts.By chance, he saw Chen Yinke's reply letter to Fu Sinian in a book by Fu Sinian: "He strongly recommends me. Mr. Chen has never expressed this matter directly or indirectly, and I am very moved." I admire Chen Yinke from the bottom of my heart.

Luo Ergang recalled his meeting with Chen Yinke. After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, Chen Yinke went south to Changsha."In the vast square of the Bible College, there are huge crowds of people standing by the side of the road and watching boredly every day." Chen Yinke was also in the square at that time.Luo Ergang said: "Suddenly someone beside me shouted hurriedly: "This is Chen Yinke! This is Chen Yinke!" I haven't seen Mr. Chen's demeanor yet, and I was about to go after him, when I suddenly thought it was impolite, so I stopped .Two months later, the Institute of Social Sciences sent me back to Guangxi to contact Guilin and live in the Huanhu Hotel. It was a cold winter night, at about 7:30, someone knocked on the door. When the door was opened, it turned out to be Mr. Chen Yinke!Mr. Chen Yinke came to the residence of my little assistant researcher. What a wonderful news!I welcome Mr. Chen to come in and sit down.He said that he went to the hotel to visit friends at night, and when he saw the guest card and knew that I lived here, he came to visit and stopped visiting friends. As soon as Mr. Chen sat down, he said that he had read many of my textual researches, and then commented on them one by one.He sat until 11:00, when the hotel was about to close, the waiter came to inform me, and I sent him out of the hotel door, and he reluctantly said goodbye. This incident, 57 years ago, is still in sight.I am deeply honored and amazed.Mr. Chen studied and taught the history of the Sui and Tang Dynasties and wrote literary textual research. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom I studied is so far away from him, and I am not his student, why does he care so much about my works? When I think back today, I suddenly feel that Mr. Chen Yinke has a broad-minded mind and boundless nourishment. ...The most important work in my life is the research on the original and the author in the 10 years after the 1980s.Luo Guanzhong's "Original Outlaws of the Marsh" was published. I have received reports from Xinhua News Agency and CCTV broadcasts. I think it would be great if Mr. Chen could see it!

In 1990, Tsinghua University published the "Commemorative Collection" of the symposium commemorating the centenary of Mr. Chen Yinke's birth. Wang Yongxing found a letter from Chen Yinke to President Mei Yiqi in 1947 in the archives of Tsinghua University history. The words are sincere and the meaning is touching: "Thinking over and over again, we must solve the housing problem", otherwise "I feel deeply uneasy in my heart", and said, "I will tell my wife about the details."In order to help his disciples, Chen Yinke asked his wife to speak out.Wang Yongxing read this letter more than 40 years ago, "was awakened from a big dream, and was deeply saddened."Because Chen Yinke and his wife never told Wang Yongxing about this matter.Wang Yongxing's special work "Planting Flowers and Retaining Later People" extols the virtue of his benevolent heart.
