Taoism cannot be said to be happy, and life cannot be sought after. Follow my goodness and stay away from vulgarity. Thinking about poverty and mystery is extremely secluded. But resentment. Only fitness is to fulfill one's life, like the return of a long-time guest. Going away, taking advantage of transformation. The cicada sloughs off at the site, according to the ancestors. The body and the name are both obliterated. , why do you have a husband to stay?"

In 1963, Ma Yifu dedicated 357 pieces (volumes) of calligraphy masterpieces he had made over the years to the country; the next year, he dedicated the only Song painting in his collection to the country. Ma Yifu once said to his family: "Buddhism regards life and death as a major event, while Confucianism believes that life and death are the same day and night, the same cold and heat, and the same breath, but it is a common thing." Ma Yifu wrote a poem when he was dying:
