Chapter 47 My future partners, the young people of the Republic of Korea

One of the things that has pleased me since entering politics is the increased opportunities to meet young people. If I hadn't been in politics, I probably wouldn't have met so many young people with different ideas. No matter where I meet young people, they always give me special joy at the first sight, probably because of the energetic, enthusiastic and energetic relationship. So whether I go to other parts of the country or abroad, I will try my best to arrange the itinerary to meet young people. On August 15, 2006, when I returned home after participating in the Liberation Day commemorative ceremony, the executive secretary who thought he had gone home came to my house again and said that he had something to say to me.It turned out that a female college student was waiting for me in front of my house and met my executive secretary. When the executive secretary told me this, I was taken aback.

This female college student is the president of the Female Student Association of Dankook University's Cheonan Campus. She waited hours at the door for me to speak at the school. My executive secretary asked her, "How did you know that the representative lived in a house instead of an apartment? How did you know the address? How did you find it?" The student replied: "I am the president of the Girls' Student Union. I hope to invite Representative Park to give a speech during my tenure. The representative is the first most influential female politician in our country, so I really want to I heard her speech with my own ears. But I didn’t know who to contact. If I called, I would definitely not convey it. I searched the Internet news and saw that it was an ordinary house in Samsung-dong, so I came to Samsung-dong. I was looking for a real estate agency, but I couldn’t find anything when I asked them. I racked my brains and finally asked. Today is Liberation Day, and the school is closed. I saw a report on TV that the representatives attended the commemorative ceremony today, so I immediately Came here and waited until the representative came back."

The enthusiasm of our young people lights up the future of the Republic of Korea. At the lecture hall of Sookmyung Women's University.
I admired the enthusiasm and ingenuity of that female college student. I agreed to speak without even confirming the schedule. "Make a goal, make a plan, and execute it without hesitation!" What a great Korean college student! She is not familiar with Seoul, and the bus routes and subway routes are also very unfamiliar, but she must do it no matter how hard it is. She even asked a real estate agency for a long time before she asked about my home.In the end, she perfectly achieved the goal of "speech proposal", which made me very proud.

In addition to this female student at Dankook University, many college students in my country I met are the same. As long as they make up their minds, they will proceed without hesitation, find ways and achieve their goals. They all have a very positive attitude. “I don’t get frustrated if I can’t get a job right away, I’m going to go through the process before I find a job that’s right for me.” A job-seeking graduate I met at a job fair holding a stack of With a thick resume, he said this with a smile. "I listened to the speech on your behalf, but I couldn't ask you a question." A Sookmyung Women's University student wanted to chat for a while after listening to my speech, so she came to the National Assembly to find me. "If the Grand National Party wants to change, it must absorb young talents." There are also male students from Sungkyunkwan University who told my secretaries about their thoughts, and they made an appointment to meet with me.Our young people are lighting up the future of the Republic of Korea with challenging spirit and practical ability.Looking back, it was the same with the classmates I met in college.

In the era when we didn't know much about electronic engineering and there were not many electrical products in the home, we believed that electronic engineering would promote the economic development of our country in the future, so we always read hard in the laboratory all night with difficult original documents. Passed from father to son, mother to daughter, the tradition will be passed down from generation to generation.Young people in our country have also inherited the spirit of "I can do it" from their parents' generation. My parents started from scratch, but the current generation of young people believe that they can lead the Republic of Korea to become the best country in the world.
