Chapter 46 Auntie's beloved nephews

The atmosphere that day was a little strange.Originally, as soon as I entered the entrance, the children would shout "Auntie is here!" when they saw my figure, but they were very quiet that day.Even when I walked over, the children all backed away one after another. Even Jing Yuan, who would usually come to hug me and kiss me on the cheek, just stood looking at me from a distance.I thought to myself, "Is the child scared because of the bandages on his cheeks? Is the expression weird because he can't smile like he used to?" I approached the children, bent down to look them in the eye, and said to them, "What happened? I haven't seen you for a long time. Why don't you come to kiss Auntie?"

Xiao Dan standing in the corner pointed to my bandaged cheek, walked over cautiously and asked me: "Auntie, is it not hurting now?" I thought to myself: "So that's how it is." I don't know how they know, it seems they are worried about me. "Well, Auntie is all well now, that's why I came to see you. It's all fine." "real?"

My lovely nieces made fans for me.No matter how tired you are, as long as you see their smiles, your fatigue will disappear.
Suddenly, the quiet children became as usual and threw themselves into my arms. Some cheered, some kissed me, some joked with me, and even held my hand and asked me to dance the newly learned nursery rhymes and dances with them.As if they had never been alienated, they sang and danced with vigor and vitality.

The kindergarten principal said: "Representative, the children saw the news of your face being scratched on TV, and they came to school crying the next day. They also asked me who caused our aunt to be so painful. They all gathered together and prayed 'Please let the aunt Auntie, get well soon'. Maybe it was because I felt that it was still hurting on your behalf, so I didn't dare to approach." Hearing the principal of the kindergarten say this, my nose became sour unconsciously. "My nieces and nephews... make you worry." Usually, when media interviews or speeches are always asked: "You have no family or children, won't you be lonely?"

Usually I always answer "too busy, no time to be lonely".But I have a family that everyone doesn't know, that is, seven little angels who call me "big aunt".The fate with these seven little angels began in June 2004. One night when I got off work very late, I overheard a female party member call her family, saying that she had to work overtime because of her work, but no one came to pick up her daughter in kindergarten. She hurriedly made several phone calls.Usually, due to women's entry into social work and the decline in the birth rate, I have begun to pay attention to childcare policies, but the content of her phone call gave me a big shock.

Our political party always puts forward the policy of paying attention to women's childcare policy, so we should first consider the childcare of our employees, but in fact, we don't take care of it.I was shocked to realize that even our own family has not done a good job, so my conservation policy is not just a slogan. The next day, I formally proposed to set up a kindergarten in the party building.Immediately there were objections such as "the investment will be disproportionate to the effect, and the effect will be limited," "there is no space in the party building," "there is no money," and "the staff will not bring their children."I thought to myself: "Yes, because of the same reason, most enterprises and public institutions do not set up kindergartens, and leave the childcare work to women." Then my voice became louder unconsciously.

The opening day of the "Happy Kindergarten" proved that the practice of policy activities has already begun within our party. "We haven't done it yet, how do we know? Everything in the world has difficulties, but we should not compromise or make concessions because of difficulties. How can a political party that doesn't even have a kindergarten talk about childcare policies? It must set up a kindergarten. Please prepare immediately." So I came to a conclusion and started working on related matters.

The opening day of the "Happy Kindergarten" proved that the implementation of policy activities starts from within our party.

On July 1, 2004, the "Happy Kindergarten" in the Grand National Party opened. The opening day was my first day adding seven to my family. From the youngest seventeen months old to two years old, there are a total of seven children, all of whom are little angels.Although there are occasional crying sounds in the kindergarten, they are also very cute when they cry. After that, I had a busy schedule every day, but the more things I had to do inside and outside the party and the more pressure I had, the more I wanted to go to Happy Kindergarten. The children yelled "big aunt" when they opened their mouths, and they would come to hug me.Seeing their appearance, my worries and worries were swept away immediately.Even though the assistant keeps gesturing to me to get ready to go because the next trip is approaching, I can't bear to cut back on the time I spend with my lovely family. As the children grow up, so do my treasures. They gave me a fan with my face painted on it, and a New Year's card...everything is a precious treasure, which made me smile unconsciously.

Now the kindergarten has added new family members, and there are eleven children in total. However, when the party building was to be moved to Yeouido, there were voices of opposition: "It is difficult to move the kindergarten together." It can be seen that many people still do not remember how important childcare is, and the fact that it is the starting point for women's social activities. If women are freed from the burden of child-rearing and childcare, it will enhance the country's competitiveness.I have personally experienced that since the establishment of kindergartens in the party building, female party members can work with more peace of mind and their work efficiency has been greatly improved. As a result, not only female party officials who entrust their children to their children have benefited, but the Grand National Party, which has set up kindergartens, has also improved its competitiveness.

I think that real politics is to find a way, a way that both those who make the policy and the beneficiaries of the policy can feel the joy and happiness in person.Young mothers should not have to worry about their children, but should devote themselves to their work and show their abilities in the workplace, while their children should thrive in a safe and healthy environment. The politics I want is one that makes both those who formulate conservation policies and those who benefit from them happy.
