In March 1918, Matsushita Electric Appliance Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established. In March 1920, "Buyihui" was established.

In April 1921, his daughter Sachiko was born. In March 1923, developed bullet-shaped lamps for selling bicycles. In April 1927, the square lamps for selling bicycles were developed. In December 1929, under the circumstances of the world economic downturn, the plan of "no layoffs" was used to avoid layoffs and overcome the difficulties. In January 1961, he resigned from the position of general manager and became the chairman of the board. In August 1961, PHP research was resumed. In July 1964, a meeting of the presidents of sales companies and agents across the country was held, and major reforms began. In January 1967, the call for "wages exceeding Europe in 5 years' time" was put forward at the management policy presentation meeting. May 1968 marks the 50th anniversary of Matsushita Electric's founding. In July 1973, he resigned from the position of chairman and became a consultant.Contributed 5 billion yen to the "Social Welfare Fund".

In June 1979, he visited China for the first time and proposed the idea of ​​establishing a Japanese-Chinese joint venture in the field of electronics industry. In April 1980, the Matsushita Political and Economic School was established. On April 27, 1989, he died of illness.
