Chapter 77 76. Luo Jianfu——Sacrificing his life and dedicating himself to technology

Luo Jianfu (1935-1982), male, Han nationality, from Xiangxiang County, Hunan Province, member of the Communist Party of China.During his lifetime, he was an engineer at the 771 Institute of the former Ministry of Aerospace Industry. Luo Jianfu joined the army in July 1951. In December 1962, he was transferred to the Northwest Institute of Computer Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 1975, he was transferred to the 771st Institute of the Seventh Ministry of Machinery. In 1969, Luo Jianfu, as the leader of the research group, began to develop the national blank project - graphic generator. In 1972 and 1975, the first "pattern generator" and "Type II pattern generator" were developed successively, making great contributions to my country's aerospace industry.Luo Jianfu is conscientious and down-to-earth in his work. He is the person in charge of the type I, II, and III pattern generator project, the main designer and developer, but he asked not to sign his name when reporting the scientific research results. He politely declined to accept him as a member of China Electronics Society members.

Luo Jianfu was born in Xiangxiang County, Hunan Province in 1935. He took the lead in enlisting in the army in 1950, one semester before he graduated from junior high school. In his spare time in the army, Luo Jianfu completed the second period of the third year of junior high school and all the courses of the third year of high school, and was admitted to the Department of Atomic Physics of Northwest University in 1956, majoring in nuclear physics. In April 1959, Luo Jianfu joined the Communist Party of China. After graduation, he successively worked in his alma mater, Xi'an Electronic Computer Technology Institute, and Lishan Microelectronics Company. In 1965, he began to study microelectronics. In 1968, participated in the technical research cooperation of Beijing Electric Machinery Factory. In the following year, he presided over the National Blank Project—Graphic Generator Research.

During the "Cultural Revolution", he tried his best to overcome the interference, mastered a second foreign language in a short period of time with tenacious perseverance, and studied many courses such as electronic circuits, automatic control, precision machinery, applied mathematics, and integrated circuits. In 1972 and 1975, Luo Jianfu successively developed the first "pattern generator" and "Type II pattern generator", which improved the efficiency dozens of times for the design and manufacture of aerospace computers and broke the international standard at that time. China's blockade and embargo have made significant contributions to my country's aerospace industry. After winning the National Science Conference Award in 1978, he continued to develop the Type III pattern generator, and by October 1981 he had independently completed all electronic control designs. On June 16, 1982, Luo Jianfu, who was debugging the equipment, suddenly fell ill and was diagnosed with advanced lymphoma. He died in June 1982 at the age of 47.He was posthumously awarded the honorary title of National Model Worker.

Hu Peide, Luo Jianfu's former colleague, still couldn't hide his excitement when talking about Luo Jianfu: "Although more than 20 years have passed, we have not forgotten him!" Hu Peide and Luo Jianfu have worked together for many years, and some touching stories of Luo Jianfu are still vivid in my memory. "Lao Luo's belief, temperament, morality, and will are all admirable. It is well-deserved to say that he is China's Paul!" When the salary was adjusted in 1977, Luo Jianfu was fully qualified for promotion, but he repeatedly told the leaders: "I am a member of the Communist Party, and my family's financial difficulties are not too difficult. Give up the position to comrades who are more difficult than me!" In fact, His salary is not high, and his two children are in school, so the burden is not light. In 1981, when Luo Jianfu learned that he was diagnosed with cancer and it was at an advanced stage, he asked the doctor unusually calmly: "How much time do I have?" Then he asked, "Don't tell my lover, now, every minute and every second They are all precious to me!" He has only one thing on his mind: there is still a lot of work to be done. The organization "ordered" him to rest at home and asked his lover Chen Xianwan to take care of him.Luo Jianfu finally agreed to take care of his illness, but he disagreed with his lover to take care of him.Luo Jianfu said to his wife who was also engaged in scientific research: "I can't work anymore, what can you do if you don't work anymore?" heap.

Hu Peide accompanied Luo Jianfu through the last days in the Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Medical College. "In the ward, he paid the last party dues. In the few nights before he left, when he went to the toilet, he didn't turn on the light or call anyone. He always moved bit by bit by himself, just because he was afraid Trouble everyone. His last will is: he can no longer work for the party, and please ask the hospital to dissect the body, which may contribute to medicine." Hu Peide's voice was a little choked up at this point. Luo Jianfu is a banner of the aerospace system. In his unit before his death, symposiums to learn Luo Jianfu's spirit and commendation meetings for advanced pacesetters are often held. Every year, newly recruited college students and workers must understand and learn from Luo Jianfu before entering the unit. deeds.

"Not only in our Ministry of Aerospace Industry, but also in other scientific research units, many people are still extolling his deeds. Looking back now and looking back at his deeds during his lifetime, and seeing his spiritual realm, it is really impressive and shocking. It’s big.” Wang Yingmin from the Propaganda Department of the 771 Party Committee said, “In October 2007, on the 25th anniversary of Luo Jianfu’s death, the 771 Institute also held a special unveiling ceremony for the bronze statue of Luo Jianfu. Carry forward Luo Jianfu's spirit and inspire the cadres and workers to work hard for the aerospace industry of the motherland."

Luo Jianfu's footprints not only reflect the growth path of the new generation of intellectuals in China, but also more strongly reflect the character of thousands of scientific and technological personnel in the land of Hunan. It is they, with the "tyrannical" spirit of worrying about the country and the people, and the innovative concept of daring to be the first, have created many scientific research achievements, promoted Hunan's economic and social development, and written chapters of passionate poems.
