Fang Yonggang spent almost all his spare time studying the party's innovation theory assiduously, and applied the learning and research results to teaching practice in a timely manner. He has published more than 40 articles in the core periodicals of the army, won 28 awards including the first prize of "Excellent Achievements in Military Political Theory Research", and completed 7 military key theoretical research projects of the National Social Science Fund Project.
