Chapter 50 6. Party membership has been restored

The misclassification of rightists has been corrected, and the unjust sentence has been rehabilitated. The third issue is to strive for the restoration of party membership. In April 1936, during the "December 9th" Movement, I joined the Chinese National Liberation Vanguard (Ministry for short), a peripheral organization of the Communist Party. In July 1938, I was introduced by Comrades Liu Zijiu and Li Hong on the anti-Japanese front, and I joined the Communist Party of China. Around the "Southern Anhui Incident" in 1941, the Kuomintang set off an anti-communist upsurge.The Central Committee of our party instructed comrades working in the Kuomintang-ruled areas that all those who have disclosed their Communist Party membership should be transferred to the liberated areas.So Comrade Liu Zijiu was transferred to the Liberated Area.At that time, I had already gone deep into the Japanese ruled area to carry out underground work, and it was difficult for him to inform me; therefore, my organizational relationship was interrupted. In 1942, through the introduction of Comrade Li Nian, an underground party member, I joined the Xi'an underground intelligence organization led by the Central Committee of our Party. In the autumn of 1944, after I returned to Xi'an from the Japanese ruled area, Zhao Yaobin, the head of the Xi'an underground intelligence organization, informed me that he had connected me with the party's organizational relationship.

After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, I was dispatched by Zhao Yaobin and introduced by Chen Zhongjing. I entered the political department of the Northeast Security Command of the Kuomintang, and under the cover of "KMT Major General Inspector", I did intelligence work.In terms of organization, I have one-line contact with Zhao Yaobin, and in work, I have direct contact with Li Nian. In October 1947, the underground organizations in Xi'an, Shenyang and other places were destroyed by the enemy, Zhao Yaobin was arrested, and my organizational relationship was interrupted again.

In the past, because Zhao Yaobin could not be found, my organizational relationship could not be restored.My "right".After the problem was corrected, I wrote to Minister Luo Qingchang of the Central Committee on May 4, 1982, stating my experience and the urgent issue of party membership.Minister Luo Qingchang sent a letter to prove that when Zhao Yaobin connected me with intelligence work, he connected me with the party organization. On June 18, 1982, the Party Committee of Renmin University of China received this proof material.Comrade Liu Zijiu, my introduction to the party, also wrote to the party committee of Renmin University of China, suggesting that my party membership be restored.The Party Committee of Renmin University of China submitted these supporting materials to the Organization Department of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and suggested that my Party membership be restored.

On May 23, 1983, the Organization Department of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China instructed: "Restore Comrade Ge Peiqi's party membership, and the party age will be counted continuously from July 1938."So far, I have returned to the embrace of the party and the revolutionary ranks; I feel relieved and extremely happy!I am determined to look forward and contribute to the construction of the four modernizations of the motherland and the reform and opening up.
