At the end of October 1948, our army launched an attack on Shenyang. After two days and nights of fierce fighting, the Kuomintang army retreated. At that time, the train from Shenyang to Shanhaiguan was blocked.There is an endless stream of pedestrians entering the customs.The main means of transportation is a cart drawn by three mules.When passing through Heishan County, I saw many damaged tanks and armored vehicles.It is said that this is the place where the New Sixth Army (Mechanized Army) of the Kuomintang was wiped out.After six days of cold wind, I took a carriage and entered Shanhaiguan, another "No. 1 pass in the world".I recall that when I entered Tongguan (No. 1 Pass in the World) in 1939, the land of Northeast China was still trampled under the iron hooves of the Japanese army; when I entered Shanhaiguan today, the land of Northeast China was already flying red flags.There is a drop of my blood and sweat on the red flag, I am very happy!
