At the end of 1934, I met Comrade Huang Ziwen, and lived and fought with him for a period of time.Today, recalling the history of getting along with Ziwen, and mentioning the setbacks and losses suffered by Ziwen's family for the revolution, I feel deeply saddened. Huang Ziwen's hometown, Wuzi District, Sanyuan, and my hometown, Fuping Mizi Township, are bordered by county boundaries, and the land is connected to rice fields. Shangguan Village, where I live, is only separated from Wuzi District by a ditch, and farmers on both sides of the strait have always communicated. In 1928, Huang Ziwen organized peasants in Wuzi District to carry out the "handover" movement and the "armed siege" struggle. The revolution was so powerful that it spread in all directions. At that time, the feudal forces in our village were relatively strong, and the peasants' conservative thinking was relatively serious. But the peasants in Xiyuan rose up to make a revolution, but it became a topic of discussion among the people in the village.I was young at the time, and from conversations in the village, I learned that the leader of the Xiyuan Peasant Revolution was Huang Ziwen, a college student. In order to liberate the working people, he took out food, money, and guns from his family.

With the development of the revolutionary situation, the peasant revolutionary struggle led by Huang Ziwen and his brother Huang Zixiang expanded in scope and strength.Comrade Ziwen led everyone to fight against the local tyrants and evil gentry at the border between the former and the wealthy. The revolutionary deeds left a profound impact on the thoughts of the peasants in this area. . In the Spring Festival of 1933, the Sanyuan Party Organization sent Wang Ruiqi, a member of the Communist Party of Wuzi District, to carry out revolutionary activities in my hometown. He successively established three underground party branches in Shangguan Village, Kangjiadong, and Hejiayuan, and developed a group of party members. I also joined the party organization and participated in the revolution during this period. On the 27th of the winter month of the same year, due to the deterioration of the situation, Wang Ruiqi and I went northward with a group of five, but we did not meet Comrade Huang Ziwen. When we returned from Shimen Pass, the party branch was destroyed by the enemy, and Comrade Wang Ruiqi was arrested.

At the end of 1934, after the mutiny in Xunyi, I went north to the Soviet area and met Comrade Huang Ziwen in Yangpotou, Xunyi. He was the chairman of the Revolutionary Committee of the Southern District at that time. When I talked to him about the destruction of the party branch and the arrest of Comrade Wang Ruiqi, he said: "I already know about these things. I have asked someone to release Wang Ruiqi on bail." Then he said to me kindly: "You mutiny Come here successfully, let's make a revolution together!" Comrade Huang Ziwen was so approachable, cared so much for revolutionary comrades, and was so well-informed, which left a deep impression on me at the time.I once sighed from my heart that "Ziwen is worthy of being a hero of the peasant revolution".

In the years of fighting with Comrade Ziwen, I found that he is active in his work and has a solid style of work.He often went deep to help grassroots cadres establish township power, and often followed the guerrillas to fight against the enemy.I remember one time when he attacked the security team of Anshe, he took the lead in rushing to the front, but stayed at the end when retreating. At that time, the commanders and fighters of the guerrillas all admired his heroic spirit from the bottom of their hearts. Comrade Huang Ziwen has always adhered to the principle of democratic centralism on the issue of inner-party struggle, believed in the organization, and was loyal to our party.I heard that at the Chenjiapo meeting in August 1933, a countercurrent within the party hit Brother Huang Ziwen, and his brother, Comrade Huang Zixiang (the head of the Fourth Cavalry Regiment of the 26th Red Army), was driven away.At the meeting, although Comrade Huang Ziwen reserved his opinions, he never spread dissatisfaction with the leaders after the meeting. He was confident that the wrong practices in the party would be seen through by the party members who had raised their consciousness sooner or later.Although Comrade Huang Ziwen suffered a severe blow, he is infinitely loyal to the party politically and ideologically.

In the summer of 1939, I met Huang Ziwen by chance at the Nanguan Market in Yan’an. During the conversation, he said, “I’m going to North China soon.” I asked, “What are you going to do in North China?” He told me I went to see her sister. Her sister was a student in Beijing. She was arrested and imprisoned during the Great Revolution. She was released when political prisoners were released. She worked in the Hebei Anti-Japanese Base Area. Because her body was tortured by the enemy in prison, she hoped that her relatives would visit her. Looking forward to the spring rain. After listening to his talk, I feel that Comrade Ziwen is a very emotional person.

Comrade Ziwen, his elder brother, and his elder sister had devoted themselves to revolutionary work in the early days. His lover Li Shengyun also came to the Soviet area from home, and took a few years old children to run around for the revolution.Later, his niece (Zixiang's daughter) Huang Peilan also came to the Soviet area from Xi'an to participate in the revolution. His family is a real revolutionary family.Ziwen's elder sister, Huang Xiaxian, was killed by the enemy in Hebei. Some people with ulterior motives in our party continued the wrong line of the Chenjiapo meeting until 1935 to eliminate counter-revolutionaries. Ziwen's 17-year-old niece Huang Peilan.

In the face of a series of setbacks and blows, Comrade Huang Ziwen did not lose his will to revolution, but showed suspicion and complaints against the party.Under various pressures and in various environments, he lived and fought tenaciously for the revolutionary cause of the party and the people. In May 1947, he, his elder brother Zixiang and other comrades organized the uprising in front of the mausoleum: righteousness, which is the embodiment of his loyalty to the party.Comrade Huang Ziwen's broad mind of utter loyalty to the party regardless of personal grievances is worth remembering by us alive forever.

In June of the same year, Comrade Huang Ziwen was unfortunately killed in battle while leading the first detachment of the Weibei Corps at the Sanyuan Xiaodaokou. In November 1948, when the Guanzhong Prefectural Committee held a memorial meeting in Malan, the Northwest Bureau sent a telegram and made a fair conclusion to Comrade Huang Ziwen, rehabilitating his decades-long grievances. The telegram pointed out: Comrade Huang Ziwen contributed everything to the revolution all his life, even Bai's life. He is a good son of the party, and he decided to restore Comrade Huang Ziwen's party membership. On behalf of the Guanzhong Prefectural Committee, I mourned Comrade Ziwen's revolutionary life at the meeting.

Time flies, Comrade Huang Ziwen has sacrificed for forty springs and autumns. When we recall Comrade Ziwen's revolutionary life again with a heavy heart, we deeply feel his lofty spirit of loyalty to the party and the people and his equal treatment of comrades and the masses , The excellent quality of treating each other with sincerity is always worth remembering and worth learning.
