Experience Tibet 汪晓东 1214Words 2018-03-14
It has been almost a year since I left Tibet, although time is described by many literati as the best "washing agent"; however, the feeling of wandering alone on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has not faded with the passage of time.Especially in the few months when I just came back from Tibet, when I was alone many times, I often subconsciously wandered in a deep nostalgia; the scenes I experienced in Tibet are like movies in front of my eyes Emerging, I am excited. During the thirty-four days of traveling in Tibet, I carried a huge rucksack and walked on the vast snow-covered land like an ancient lone knight, enjoying the air and sunshine of the plateau, feeling unprecedented The joy and freedom of life; the encounter with those clear eyes and hearts that have traveled through the ages, and the heart suddenly feels devout admiration; accept the blessings of eminent monks and various blessings of Tibetans, and listen to the heartfelt words from another thinking country... …

The vast and vast Tibetan culture is dazzling and dizzying. I can only record my panic about this magical land with every press of my finger... After returning from Tibet, the "Happy Years" column team of CCTV Sports Channel conducted a personal interview with me.When the program host Gu Yanjun asked me: "What impresses you the most about Tibet?" "Is it the endless snow-capped mountains on the vast land, or the scorching hot sun in the clear blue sky? Is it the goshawk soaring proudly on the vast grassland, or the snow-capped mountain by the holy lake in the wind? Is it the colorful Fengma flag flying around? Is it the manidui standing guard on the side of the rugged mountain road, or the weather-beaten faces of the Tibetans who have gone through hardships in front of the Jokhang Temple and waited for their bodies to grow? I couldn't answer for a while.

I admit that only through this short trip, I cannot deeply understand Tibet's profound cultural heritage and profound religious and historical connotations; I even rarely have the opportunity and time to touch the daily life of those simple Tibetans. In Tibet, a pure land away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I am just a weather-beaten stranger, a passer-by in my life.Facing those Tibetans holding prayer wheels and chanting the six-character mantra, I can't understand their true inner world, just like they don't understand us.The living spaces of each other are different, and the interpretation of life is naturally different. The two life orders arranged by God just go to two extremes. However, it is precisely because of their pious and persistent pursuit of their own beliefs that they can take root in the unimaginably difficult and dangerous snow-covered plateau, and they can remain unmoved and remain the same when the outside world undergoes earth-shaking changes. It is precisely because of these kind and persistent Tibetans that the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the last pure land of human beings and nature, has its most moving charm. Now I understand that the pursuit of material desire is not the nature of human beings!

In those days when I first came back from Tibet, many people around me expressed difficulty in understanding my behavior of going to Tibet alone. So many times I had to patiently explain to them.Even today, I have not figured out why I went to Tibet, a primitive, dangerous, and remote foreign land.Whether it is out of escaping from reality or wanting to enrich my life experience, the trip to Tibet has indeed become an incomparable wealth in my life journey.Tibet gave me a kind of belief, a tireless pursuit of spirit and ideal; it is this belief that makes material desire give way to spirit, and belief is no longer sustenance, but a pious cause.

This personal experience in Tibet really gave me some feelings and some life epiphanies.Invited by "China Sports Daily", I dedicate my travel notes of my Tibet trip to everyone in detail, which can be regarded as some memories of the days when I was wandering alone in Tibet! The entire content of the book was uploaded in the [Travel Notes] column of my Internet special homepage "Friends of Tibet".
