In Jerusalem, there is a world-famous "Wailing Wall". The "Wailing Wall" is the remnant of the destroyed wall of the Jewish temple, and it is also the epitome of the tragic fate of the Jewish nation for thousands of years. Every year on certain religious festivals, tens of thousands of Jews will come here and cry bitterly under this wall. They never forget their dead ancestors, and they draw strength from this wall to create their own beautiful future. In Nanjing, China, the beautiful Xuanwu Lake is surrounded by the majestic Zijin Mountain, and the charm of the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties has not changed through the ages. This mountain and this river have witnessed the tragic song of blood and tears.

In Nanjing, the "Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall of the Victims by Japanese Invaders" also has a stone wall engraved with the names of the victims.Walking along the footsteps of the victims of sexual violence, you can find that the stone walls are engraved with densely packed names, like waves in the sea, and you can't see the edge at a glance.Every year, many families of the victims come here to mourn their tragic death, and more young people and children come here to experience the living history. This wall is the "Wailing Wall" in China. This wall bears in mind the tragic life experience of more than 300,000 compatriots who were massacred; this wall bears in mind the monstrous atrocities committed by an army of beasts against unarmed peaceful residents. This wall was forged with the blood, flesh and tears of the Chinese people.

On December 8, 2000, at the turn of the century and the turn of the millennium, the "Women's International War Criminals Tribunal" officially opened in the Kudan Hall in downtown Tokyo, Japan. The Women's International War Criminals Tribunal is a civil court initiated by women and human rights organizations in Asia. The task of the tribunal is to urge the Japanese government to recognize the war crimes against women, make a formal apology to the victimized countries and regions, and make apology and compensation to the victims and survivors as soon as possible. This trial does not have the significance of law enforcement. It is called a "mock trial" and a "civil trial". It is also a "just trial" and a "conscience trial".

After a five-day trial, the "Women's International War Criminals Tribunal" handed down a verdict on the Japanese military's forced recruitment of comfort women during World War II, and Japan's Emperor Hirohito was found guilty of crimes against humanity.According to the verdict, according to the evidence provided by Japanese experts, Emperor Hirohito has unique power and decision-making authority. He was aware of the atrocities committed by the Japanese army, but he did not take measures to stop them. The judgment also found that the Japanese government failed to fulfill its responsibility and should sincerely apologize and compensate the victims of the Japanese military sexual slavery system.

This is a historic sentence that begins to restore dignity and justice to the victimized women. But that day came too late, and the people of all countries have been fighting for it for more than 50 years. After the verdict was pronounced, more than 60 representatives of women victims of sexual violence from all over the world stepped onto the rostrum, and the audience spontaneously stood up, paying tribute to these old men who bravely used their own painful experiences to publicly accuse the crimes of Japanese militarism. Applause. During the trial, victims of sexual violence from mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, North Korea, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the Netherlands encouraged, comforted, and supported each other, all for a common purpose : Use personal experience to explain the crimes committed by the Japanese army, and seek justice for all the sisters who were killed and insulted by the Japanese army.

The "Women's International War Criminals Tribunal" is like a lightning bolt in the thick dark clouds, cutting through the darkness of more than half a century. The war more than half a century ago brought distorted human experience to hundreds of thousands of women all over the world, and left irreparable scars on their spirit and body.Humiliation, illness, loneliness, and low self-esteem used to be all of their lives.Today, they have regained their dignity and bravely walked to the court and to the light. From the mainland to Taiwan, from South Korea in the north to Thailand in the south, behind every victim of sexual violence by the Japanese army is a story of blood and tears. One by one, the humble lives who survived the ruthless war and countless irresistible "sexual ravages" began to use their limited lives to shake the contemptuous and short-sighted Japanese government.

The distribution areas of Japanese comfort stations are mainly in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, New Britain, New Guinea, Sakhalin, and mainland Japan.China is the place with the most Japanese comfort stations. From the Sino-Soviet border in Heilongjiang to Hainan Island in the south, as long as it is the Japanese-occupied area, there are almost everywhere. From 1932 to 1945, at least more than 200,000 women in mainland China became sex slaves of the Japanese army, and they were distributed in 22 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government.According to studies and surveys by scholars from various countries, there are at least 400,000 women in Asian countries who are forced to become comfort women, and China is the country that suffers the most. The number of victims of sexual violence in China accounted for 68% of the prostitutes who accompanied the Japanese army in the occupied areas in the Asian battlefield. This is a "world first" that makes the Chinese people feel pain, shame and anger.

However, a total of 390 delegations from various countries attended this hearing, including 220 from South Korea, 63 from Taiwan, and 28 from mainland China. The number of representatives from mainland China participating in this trial is only a fraction of that of South Korea. This is a comparative figure that embarrasses us. In Asia, many victims of sexual violence have been discriminated against for a long time due to the traditional cultural belief that "starving to death is a minor issue, but injustice is a major issue", and they are afraid to publicly state their experiences. In contrast, the fate of Caucasian Luf Ohan, who was captured by the Japanese army as a comfort woman during World War II, was different.

Recently, the Australian government awarded her the second class of the Order of Australia, and stated in the government communiqué: This award is in recognition of Ruth Orhan's outstanding contribution to the international community in encouraging wartime protection of human rights and women's protection, as well as her A leadership role in encouraging public atrocities of war. Ruth Orhan was originally Dutch and lived in Java, Indonesia. In 1942, she was captured by the Japanese army as a comfort woman.Emigrated to Australia after the war.In 1992, when South Korea's comfort women publicized the atrocities committed by the Japanese army during World War II, Ruth Orhan stepped forward to disclose her experience and went to Tokyo to testify at the hearing.

In 1994, Ruth Orhan published her autobiography "Fifty Years of Silence", which was adapted into a documentary and won the Australian Film Industry Award for Best Documentary.Ruth Orhan has been a volunteer with the Australian Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross, advocating for human rights and the protection of women in war. Victims of sexual violence in China deserve to be honored and respected like Ruth Orhan, and they should not be forgotten or discriminated against. When they stood up to expose the atrocities committed by the invaders, like those soldiers who died in the battlefield, they also stood up as the backbone of the nation.

In recent years, China's non-government claims movement has surged, showing the awakening of the Chinese people's national spirit and awareness of rights, as well as the determination and courage of the Chinese people to refuse to forget and defend their dignity. The Japanese war of aggression against China brought grave disasters to the Chinese nation and nation, and violated the basic human rights of the Chinese people. Its atrocities not only lacked the basic conscience and moral civilization of human beings, but also violated the relevant rules of war in international law. After the end of World War II, the regimes of the KMT and the Communist Party successively gave up the war reparations to Japan. However, the government's abandonment of the demand for state compensation does not mean that the nationals of the country have also lost their right to private compensation.Citizens of countries that have suffered from Japanese militarism demand compensation from the Japanese government and companies. This is not only morally justified, but also legally consistent with international relations and international law norms. It is also the basic human rights of the victims. For more than ten years, the non-government claims movement in China, Taiwan, Taiwan and Taiwan has been indomitable, defying all kinds of obstacles and pressures, showing the true qualities of heroes in peacetime. The late American historian and germ warfare researcher Sheldon Harris said: "Wang Xuan is a truly patriotic Chinese. An extraordinary person. I have great admiration and respect for her intelligence, humanitarian spirit, and her dedication to all Chinese people." In 2002, Wang Xuan won the first place in the "Annual Top Ten Persons of the Year" organized by "Southern Weekend".Compared with the homage to Sheldon Harris, the Chinese people's homage to Wang Xuan appeared too late, too late.Wang Xuan has been going through ups and downs over the years, and has been neglected intentionally or unintentionally by the mainstream media and some departments. In fact, this is also a common embarrassment for activists in the Chinese folk compensation movement. In China, "folk" and "individual" are always words that are shy and suspect. When these humiliated and injured lives started a long journey of claiming compensation, they did not have a strong backing force behind them, and they seemed to be lonely walkers. On August 3, 1995, Wang Xuan, who was studying in Japan, saw a piece of news written by Kyodo News on TV: The first "July 31" Troop Civilian International Symposium was held in Harbin. Victims of the bacterial warfare in Mt. Yama attended, and they were assisted by the Japanese Civilian Peace Organization "Revealing the Historical Facts of the Japanese Army's Bacterial Warfare".They are going to sue in a Japanese court, demanding an apology and compensation from the Japanese government. Chongshan is the hometown of Wang Xuan! Her childhood memories were activated. In that catastrophe, eight members of Wang Xuan's family were killed, and 396 villagers in Chongshan Village, Yiwu died of plague.Wang Xuan managed to contact Eisuke Matsui and Masataka Mori, members of Japanese civic groups, and she told them: "I want to participate in your investigation. I am from Yiwu, and I have an obligation." Wang Xuan, who understands Japanese, English, and Chongshan dialect, realized: "I am a red thread, and I can easily shuttle between China, Japan, and the United States. Only I can connect these old men and old ladies." Thus, Wang Xuan's peaceful days of studying and working in Japan came to an end. This is a lawsuit of "the road is long and the journey is long", but for Wang Xuan and her partners, it is "I will search up and down".Time and illness are relentless, and among the twenty-nine plaintiffs, several elderly members have passed away. Some people don't want to sue again, because the parties spent a lot of money and were exhausted physically and mentally because of the eight years of investigation and evidence collection and 27 court sessions in the five years since the lawsuit started. Why is it so difficult for China's civil society to claim compensation? On the one hand, China does not have well-developed civil organizations and foundations to provide various support and assistance; the more important reason is that Japan has been unwilling to face up to some problems left over from the war.In fact, people of insight have already pointed out: "The incident of chemical weapons left behind by Japan is a living history of Japan's war of aggression against China, and it is a yardstick for testing how the Japanese government treats the history of the war of aggression against China." As long as the Japanese government abides by the three This problem can be easily solved by implementing the basic principles of a political document, deeply reflecting on the history of aggressive wars, and earnestly assuming responsibility for the war. On August 27, 2002, the result of the first instance of the Tokyo District Court in Japan was: the plaintiff's request for an apology and compensation from the Japanese government was rejected, but the criminal historical facts of the Japanese army's bacterial warfare were confirmed for the first time. On September 29, 2003, Yoshihiro Katayama, the presiding judge of the Tokyo District Court, solemnly announced in court that the Japanese government was negligent in dealing with the issue of chemical weapons abandoned by the Japanese army in China, and that Japan would report to China's thirteen The plaintiffs paid a total of approximately 190 million yen in damages.Japanese media pointed out that this judgment has epoch-making significance. The verdict read out in court held that the abandonment of chemical weapons and artillery shells by the former Japanese army in China was an organizational act accompanying war acts and the result of the state's exercise of power. As a country of Japan, the subsequent negligent approach of ignoring it is also an act of exercising power by the state.Originally, the Japanese government could get a detailed grasp of the abandoned chemical weapons by asking relevant personnel of the old army and investigating relevant materials left by the army.Even after the restoration of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, Japan still failed to fulfill this obligation, which led to the occurrence of chemical weapon wounding accidents.Such negligence is an illegal act of power.According to Japan's compensation law, victims should be compensated.Regarding the issue of statute of limitations, the judgment held that Japan did not investigate the incident of injury or provide China with information to prevent the occurrence of the incident of injury after the war or after the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Japan. The Japanese government's avoidance of compensation on the grounds that the statute of limitations has expired is obviously contrary to the concept of justice and fairness. However, it is regrettable: Three days later, the Japanese government did not accept the judgment and filed an appeal. This lawsuit, which should have come to an end, will be pushed to the next stage.Wang Xuan said that they will stay with them to the end. Over the past eight years, Wang Xuan, who often eats biscuits and sleeps at train stations, contributed a huge "self-expense" of one million yen to the non-governmental compensation campaign against Japan.Yes, the word "at your own expense" has a special meaning in China. Under the high-sounding banner of "serving the people," bureaucrats at all levels spend hundreds of billions of yuan on eating, drinking, whoring and gambling every year. However, the bureaucrats who plausibly preached "patriotism" at the conference and small meetings never gave any funding to Wang Xuan and the plaintiffs. In China, where civil society has just begun to sprout, there are no entrepreneurs, foundations, and civil organizations willing to become a strong backing for public welfare undertakings. Therefore, the road to compensation for individual Chinese citizens is more arduous and difficult than that of any other country. While respecting Wang Xuan's cause of "ants challenging elephants", we have to admit with regret that the historical facts of investigating and rescuing the victims of bacterial warfare should first be the responsibility of "relevant departments"; A complete list of victims, at least the failure of the "relevant departments"... The Chinese must refuse to forget. If even the Chinese themselves forget the atrocities of Japanese militarism, then the tragedy may befall us again. The Chinese must preserve memory. If even the memory of the Chinese is blurred and erroneous, the executioners of yore have succeeded in a second murder. Refusing to forget and preserving memory is a defense of one's own dignity.A nation that quickly forgets its own suffering and shame is bound to be a nation without a sense of dignity and a nation without a future. While condemning Japan's education department for constantly revising history textbooks, we should pay more attention to our own history textbooks—do we faithfully and detailedly describe our shame and our suffering in our history textbooks? While being wary of Japan's elementary and middle school education downplaying war crimes of aggression, we must pay more attention to the history education of our young people-does our next generation have a clear and comprehensive understanding of the disasters and tragedies of the year? For a long time, in our history textbooks, the chapters of the Anti-Japanese War are not only too brief, but also divorced from historical reality. The merits of the Kuomintang army's frontal resistance to the war were brushed aside, and Chiang Kai-shek was vilified like a caricature.Few children know that the Nationalist government once organized the Battle of Songhu with seventy-five divisions, and the Kuomintang mobilized almost all of its elite troops; not many children know that Chiang Kai-shek participated in the signing of the "Cairo Declaration" to promote the country's prestige at the end of the war. China has entered the ranks of the world's top four and has become a permanent member of the United Nations. Similarly, the attitudes of the United States and the Soviet Union towards the cause of the Chinese people's war of resistance have also been distorted and reversed. The Soviet Union, which has always been described as the "big brother", has actually been flirting with Japan all the time. When Stalin dispatched Cuikov as the chief military adviser in China, he personally confessed: "Your mission, the mission of all our personnel in China, is to tightly tie the hands and feet of the Japanese." Cuikov later concluded with satisfaction: "Even in our last During the difficult war years, Japan did not attack the Soviet Union, but drowned China in a pool of blood." On April 13, 1941, the Soviet Union and Japan signed the "Japan-Soviet Neutrality Treaty." The two sides declared: the Soviet Union pledged to respect the territorial integrity and inviolability of Manchukuo, and Japan pledged to respect the territorial integrity and inviolability of the Mongolian People's Republic. The two countries reached an agreement on the issue of dividing up China's rights and interests.Stalin went to the train station to see off Japanese Foreign Minister Yosuke Matsuoka and said, "We are all Asians." On the contrary, the United States, which has been demonized as "American imperialism", has given the Chinese people the greatest support for their war of resistance.Since 1938, the U.S. government has given China a large amount of loans. On February 7, 1942, the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives have been passing bills to provide China with 500 million U.S. dollars in financial assistance.Including the aid provided by the United Kingdom, the sum exceeded the entire budget of the national government at that time. For China, which has been traumatized by the war and its own economic strength is extremely weak, this aid is undoubtedly a timely help. During the Anti-Japanese War, the U.S. military lost 468 aircraft on the hump route alone, and 1,579 pilots were killed or missing.Whether it is the U.S. Air Force volunteers of the Chennault Flying Tigers flying on the Hump route, or the U.S. Army soldiers led by General Stilwell who fought side by side with the Chinese brothers on the Burmese battlefield, we should all be remembered.Only by remembering who is a friend can one also remember who is an enemy.Forgetting who is a friend also forgets who is an enemy. A few years ago, the old pilots of the American "Flying Tigers" who fought side by side with the Chinese people came to Kunming to revisit the old place. When they got off the plane, they excitedly walked towards the welcoming crowd, but they did not expect that those people were waiting for the Japanese business delegation. They walked on the streets wearing the medals of the Anti-Japanese War, but they just greeted many people who wanted to exchange dollars. The head of the visiting delegation, Mr. Toms, left this land with tears in his eyes... Among the electronic games that Chinese children like, many are software imported from Japan.Among them, the plot of the Japanese imperial army showing off its might and conquering the world unexpectedly appeared. Many ignorant children who don't know the basic historical background still play with such software for fun. On the former site of the "July 31" troops, someone actually started to build a huge amusement park; on the laser disc of the famous military song "Say a Word of Heart", there is actually a scene of the Japanese imperial army charging into battle; a certain anti-Japanese martyr The memorial hall actually rented out the showroom as a dog exchange. In some tourist attractions and restaurants, some service staff grandiosely put on the costumes of the puppet traitors and even the Japanese imperial army to attract customers. In some places, business is booming because of this.Neither the managers nor the patrons realized that this was a blasphemy to history and an insult to dignity. In 2000, around the 63rd anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre, there was an incident in which a hotel artificially damaged the massacre monument during its expansion. After this incident happened, the response of relevant departments was very arrogant and absurd. The day before the memorial ceremony, some provincial, municipal and district leaders drove to the grand hotel to congratulate the grand opening.Nanjing citizens sent letters and calls to the Nanjing Bureau of Cultural Relics and the media, but they did not attract any attention.Apathy is one of the worst mental illnesses of our time.Is it okay to destroy a historic Holocaust memorial for the facade of a hotel? What is the difference between such a bad behavior and those Japanese racists? On the day of the massacre memorial day, that is, the day after the hotel opened, tens of thousands of Nanjing citizens spontaneously flocked to the hotel to question its illegal behavior. There were also angry citizens who smashed the windows and doors of the hotel, followed by several days of sit-ins and demonstrations. Is national sentiment only awakened when it is hurt?Is national dignity only valued when it is insulted? Chinese, why are you so good at forgetting? Is it because your history is too long?Or is it because your suffering is too deep? Chinese, why are you so good at forgetting? Don't you know that forgetting brings tragedy to repeat itself?Don't you know that forgetting means suicide? Sun Ge, a scholar who has devoted himself to the comparative study of Chinese and Japanese culture for many years, pointed out that the loss of historical memory is common among Chinese and Japanese youth.Especially among the younger generation in China, there is a spectator's attitude towards the history of their own nation.Without understanding the real history, it is impossible to make deep thinking and correct judgments about reality.A nation without a sense of history will inevitably find it difficult to create a bright future. Toshiro Toshiro, a Japanese veteran who exposed the atrocities committed by the Japanese army in the Nanjing Massacre in his diary, described the tragic situation in Nanjing with tears when he gave a speech in China. However, the college students in the audience laughed unexpectedly. When Toshiro apologized to the memorial to the victims at Nanjing University, many of the onlookers said in surprise: "We have been studying here for several years, how come we don't know there is such a monument in the school?" Forgetting turned an oasis into a desert, forgetting turned shame into pride, and forgetting turned suffering into a joke. How can we learn experience and wisdom from history when college students enjoying the best educational resources also lose their basic sense of history and common sense? Israel's hunt for the Nazi remnants has not ended to this day. Among them, an event that caused a worldwide sensation was the pursuit and trial of Aikman.Eckermann was one of the main planners of the Nazi extermination program during World War II, and disappeared mysteriously after World War II.Over the next ten years, Israeli agents persevered in tracking down Aikman's whereabouts, and finally discovered his whereabouts in South America, and arrested him through special operations across the border. In 1961, Eikman was sentenced to death for crimes against humanity and the Jewish people, and was hanged on May 30, 1962.It was the only execution under Israeli law.Israelis have shown the world their determination and courage.Although Israel is a small country, it has won the respect and admiration of people all over the world. For more than half a century after the war, Japan refused to apologize, tampered with textbooks, and commemorated war criminals. These actions were certainly related to the bad nature of the Japanese nation itself, but also related to China's appeasement and forgetfulness of its war crimes. If China, like Israel, educates its descendants to remember the suffering of the nation, condemns the atrocities committed by the Japanese army, and pursues war criminals, maintains the truth, and upholds justice for decades, will the conservative forces in Japan dare to be so arrogant? The non-repentance of many Japanese citizens is mutually causal with the unprincipled "tolerance" of most Chinese people. This kind of "tolerance" stems from the cowardice and appeasement of the Chinese character, and also from the interest demands of the KMT and the Communist Party before and after the civil war. At the same time, it also has the background of the international "Cold War" pattern at that time.In dealing with Sino-Japanese relations, the Chinese people should of course follow the principle of "looking forward", but they must first clarify past crimes and responsibilities, right and wrong, good and evil. The Japanese nation worships power and believes that Japan was defeated by the United States, so they are willing to submit to American occupation; but they are not convinced by Asian countries including China, and they have always refused to bow their heads and apologize to the Asian people. Wang Yunsheng, who had done considerable research on Japan on the eve of the Anti-Japanese War, summarized the general Japanese people’s views on China after the post-war field visit to Japan: “Generally speaking, the average Japanese has two different perceptions of China. : One kind thinks that the Chinese did not defeat Japan on their own, but joined the United Nations to show off their prestige, and they are full of admiration. Another kind of thinking thinks that although the Japanese have been expelled from China, they may one day welcome the Japanese. In the past, the Japanese relied on It is not good to invade China by force. From then on, China will need the technology of the Japanese to live in a friendly relationship with the same language and the same species. It is hard to say which of these two ideas is the majority. When the Chinese military and civilians were immersed in the joy of victory in the War of Resistance, Wang Yunsheng's words were obviously not pleasant, and not many people paid attention to this report. Wang Yunsheng was full of worries about the future Sino-Japanese relations. He wrote: "The Japanese will never forget their love for China. The Japanese we have seen, regardless of their teachings, have almost all been to China. These people , when they can’t eat sugar, they miss Taiwan, when they lack salt, they miss Changlu, when they run out of coal, they miss our Northeast, and when they run out of paper, they miss Sakhalin Island. Sino-Japanese relations always have to be restored, empty Your thoughts of victory are useless for the future." This kind of worry is not groundless worry, but the foresight of a patriot. Sixty years after the war, Japan has always used naked force to deal with international disputes over the Diaoyu Islands sovereignty dispute. Numerous historical records and diagrams can prove that the Diaoyu Islands are China's sacred territory.Although the area of Diaoyu Island is only seven square kilometers, it determines the ownership of the surrounding 200,000 square kilometers of sea area. The sea area is also rich in oil resources and has an important maritime strategic position. Japan has coveted the Diaoyu Islands for a long time, and tried to extend its coastal defense line by 300 nautical miles by annexing the Diaoyu Islands, so as to realize its strategic concept of "thousand mile coastal defense".Therefore, despite China's good will to shelve disputes and jointly develop, Japan, in disregard of China's repeated statements, built temporary airports and other projects on the island without authorization, and the Coast Guard regularly dispatched warships and helicopters to patrol the sea area. When Chinese fishing boats were operating in the waters, Japan actually dispatched warships to expel them by force. Its contempt for international law has reached an astonishing level. On February 20, 1996, Japan passed a law establishing an exclusive "exclusive economic zone" of 200 nautical miles, including the Diaoyu Islands. The Japanese government supported the militaristic non-governmental organization "Nippon Youth Club" to land on the island to provoke. Since the 1970s, the Chinese non-governmental movement to protect the Diaoyu Islands has spread like a spark among students studying in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and overseas.Regardless of the differences in political views, the four regions of the Taiwan Strait and the Chinese living overseas with national integrity and conscience all share the same goal and pursuit in defending the sovereignty of the Diaoyu Islands. In 1996, Chen Yuxiang, a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, took a small boat to the Diaoyu Islands, affirming the perseverance of the Chinese people to protect the Diaoyu Islands with practical actions. However, just as the boat was about to approach the Diaoyu Islands, the Japanese warship deliberately knocked it over.Unfortunately, Chen Yuxiang died, and the blue sky and blue sea accommodated the heroic spirit of this warrior. In June 2003, 15 Diaoyu activists drove a small fishing boat to the Diaoyu Islands to declare sovereignty. When they were about to reach the Diaoyu Islands, they were intercepted by six Japanese warships and two helicopters. On March 24, 2004, seven Chinese activists successfully landed on the Diaoyu Islands and were subsequently detained by the Japanese police. Two days later, seven Chinese citizens were released by Japan and returned home. What is intriguing is that Japan used government actions and military power to achieve its occupation of the Diaoyu Islands, while China's movement to protect the Diaoyu Islands can only be carried out with difficulty in a non-government manner. Peace cannot be achieved by giving up national interests and showing weakness to the outside world.Dignity is not bestowed by others, it is defended by oneself. The ambiguity of "suspending sovereignty" cannot win permanent peace. At certain historical moments, peace means persistence and struggle. In this sense, quite a few non-governmental Diaoyu people are not only patriots, but also messengers of peace. At Columbia University in the United States, every spring, there will always be Jewish students holding electric speakers and chanting the names of those Jews who were killed in World War II aloud. Each person recites for two hours, twenty-four hours a second without interruption.Throughout the spring campus, their monotonous, stubborn, bitter and indomitable voices echoed. This voice is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, this voice remembers history, this voice echoes reality, and this voice enlightens the future. In our vast and suffering land of 9.6 million square kilometers, such continuous voices should also be heard.
