Chapter 21 for that human dignity

Every time a book is published, the most scratchy thing is writing the postscript. I once thought about not writing it at all, but every book is different, and there are some things that need to be clarified, so I still have to continue the "dog" once. Tell me about your motivation for writing this book. Because I love literature, I paid great attention to collecting the annual selection of poetry and prose, and later engaged in the creation of legal documentary literature, but found that there was no annual selection of major case documentation.About two years ago, my neighbor, Mr. Wang Yunsheng, who was both a teacher and a friend, was transferred to be the editor-in-chief of the People’s Court Press. I had an idea to edit a collection of documentary literature reflecting major national cases every year. It should be a good thing to provide researchers with a research text. This idea was supported by Mr. Wang Yunsheng, but it did not work successfully in the early stage. First, my editing was not authoritative enough. Second, many major cases were not written or were not well written. Third, there were still many details in the editing process. operation, so this idea ran aground after I organized a lot of manuscripts two years ago.But the idea of publishing a national major case documentary every year has not been given up.Because of the favorable location, many major cases across the country occurred in Beijing, and I work in the Beijing Higher People's Court, so I have the convenience of interviewing, so from the beginning of 2006, I began to pay attention to writing some major cases that people generally pay attention to , Accumulated, there were dozens of articles by the end of the year, and 20 articles were selected from these case records to compile this book.Of course, as Mr. Ni Shouming criticized in the preface, this "Deciphering China's Major Cases" is mainly about the major cases tried by Beijing courts, and it has very little coverage of other major cases tried by courts across the country. A shortcoming that needs me to gradually improve in the next step of work.

By the count, this is my 11th book. When I first started writing, I remembered that when I started literary creation 20 years ago, I always dreamed of publishing a book earlier, bluffing before and after. But when I finished publishing 10 books, I no longer dared to be proud. Every time I wrote a word, I felt a little trembling, and the pleasure of writing was almost never felt. There are two reasons for this: one is that the characters and stories I tell are very different. Not only are they true stories, but they are basically all kinds of characters caught in various disputes, even death row prisoners who murder and rob.Once the interview is not in-depth or if there is a mistake in the writing, it is not a big deal if I accidentally smashed my job. If I get into trouble with someone in power or the underworld, I will be in big trouble. The second is that writing such articles is purely for the sake of rice, not the so-called literary pursuit.I'm a political and legal reporter, and if I don't write, I'm not doing my job properly. In addition, murder, arson, and abduction always attract people's attention. It is also a challenge to establish one's own creative style in this field that has always been regarded as "street literature".

Really wronged my literary dream back then.Back then, I was a military poet who wanted to do anything. However, I have to say that writing legal documentary articles is still beneficial to me. At least after I have contacted criminals or parties involved in the case again and again, I realized a simple truth that many people understand, that is, never commit crimes. Don't file a lawsuit.I interviewed a girl named Gao Lu in the detention center. She is the beautiful host of "Beauty Host Illegally Detains Her Ex-Boyfriend". She told me tearfully that she had lost her human dignity.

These words touched me a lot. For the dignity of a human being, I cannot commit crimes.I advise friends who have read my book not to commit crimes. In fact, any of my legal literature books conveys this simple truth. It's just that some people don't take this truth as a truth. For these people, I can only call them stupid people. But I am sorry to see that the number of stupid people has not decreased, but more and more.Along with these stupid people are the various desires that we all have, and I think abnormal desires are the root of all crimes. Therefore, in order to have a bit of human dignity, I am controlling my various desires more and more. Although there is a little bit of pain and helplessness in the face of temptation, I also hope that everyone can control it with me.There is no way, we live, we must always have that bit of human dignity.

It's almost nonsense to teach people not to sin, but some people just don't understand nonsense, including people who are more arrogant and smarter than you and me.Is Zhang En, chairman of China Construction Bank, a bull?My Shandong fellow is a provincial and ministerial senior official who has really risen from the grassroots. He is in charge of a big bank ranked 21st in the world. He is really awesome, but he is stupider than us in the face of desire. Throw yourself in.What about the directors of the central ministries and commissions?Hao Heping, director of the Food and Drug Administration with absolute power, already has millions in his family, but in order to covet the hundreds of thousands of dollars, he put himself into a hole in one like his favorite golf ball, and brought his wife along with him. There is also Xu Fangming, the director of the Ministry of Finance, a dignified scholar-type senior official, who was stupid and put himself in it.

Therefore, friends who read the story can't just read it for fun, remember my words after reading it, for the sake of human dignity, we can't commit crimes, treat ourselves, society, and life well.Because being responsible to ourselves is also responsible to our loved ones. At the end of "Postscript", I also want to say a few words for this book.Because this book has gathered the efforts of many people in addition to my own efforts, I want to mention their names to show respect. First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Ni Shouming, the deputy director of the General Office of the Supreme People's Court and the spokesman, for his enthusiastic preface to my book twice, which is a great spur and encouragement to me.There are also the leaders of my unit. Without the support of the leaders, I would not be able to do it. I would like to thank President Qin Zhengan and Vice President He Rong of the Beijing Higher People's Court, Director of the Research Office of the Beijing Higher People's Court, and postdoctorate Ma Qiang, deputy director of the research office, and deputy editor-in-chief of "Inside and Out of the Court" magazine Bi Dongli.

Secondly, I would like to thank Wang Wenbo, Gao Zhihai, Chang Ming, Fan Jing and other journalists in the court system who provided some pictures for this book, as well as my classmate Pei Ye who works in the Beijing No. 2 Intermediate Court, Beijing People’s Police Law School Xu Sulin, Ph.D., and Zhang Liping, Ph.D. in Linguistics, Minzu University of China. Some articles in this book are the crystallization of our joint cooperation. Today is the winter solstice, tomorrow will enter the severe winter, my leader Bi Dongli sent a funny text message, the original text is this: I am not threatening you, if you don’t eat dumplings today, your ears will be gone tomorrow.

To paraphrase the ending of our leader Bi's words: I am not threatening you. If you commit a crime today, your dignity will be lost tomorrow. I went to cook dumplings. December 22, 2006 Ding Yihe -
