According to the results of the trial by the Supreme Court, Hirasawa Sadatsu has been convicted as the perpetrator of the "Imperial Bank Incident".It is now impossible to prove his innocence under any legal procedure. In other words, as long as the Minister of Justice stamped his seal, he could go to the gallows at any time. (Although the defense filed a request for a retrial, that did not necessarily stop the execution.) The "Reichsbank incident" was thus settled. With the conviction of Hirasawa Sadomichi as the murderer, this century of cruelty came to an end. After the verdict was pronounced by the Supreme Court, the defender made some efforts and requested a retrial several times, but was rejected by the court.Up to now, there is no way to prove that Hirasawa Sadatsu is not the murderer of the "Imperial Bank Incident".

Last year, I published the novel "Reichsbank Incident" on Wenyichunqiu.I have always had doubts about the assertion that Hirasawa Sadatsu is the murderer. In the novel, I will use those doubts as the theme and try my best to describe it based on facts.Originally I wanted to express my doubts in a fictional way, so I adopted the genre of fiction-however, the content must be based on fact as much as possible. In that novel, I almost did not insert any fictional elements, but used the prosecutor's investigation statement, indictment, defense gist, and judgment and other trial records as materials.

After the "Imperial Bank incident", I felt that the Metropolitan Police Department hit a wall in the middle of the investigation, and then suddenly changed direction to arrest Pingze. In this novel I have also taken this sign as my subject.I still harbor this question to this day. When I wrote that story, my research could not be said to be sufficient. All traces have been buried in the sand, and there is no clue to be found.I have no contact with the investigating authorities and prosecutors, and I have no legal knowledge. It is extremely difficult to discover this trace. It is precisely because of my lack of knowledge that I express this question of myself in the form of a novel.

Until now, my enthusiasm for questioning this case has not diminished.
