Chapter 31 Postscript Mine, yours, ours...

The article about the land of my hometown is the least I dare to write, because not only are there too many literati and high-level people here to make me intimidated, but the main reason is that my parents, relatives and many friends are there. , I am afraid that what I write will make them feel that "it is not the case". If this is the case, I will be completely ruined. There is no reportage that is more dishonored than this kind of evaluation. I was devastated by the sudden death of my father three years ago, and felt suddenly pushed to the forefront of my life overnight—a fear I had never felt before, and it was because of my father standing in front of me.Not anymore, I have become the most responsible person among the men in the family, and because of this, I suddenly feel heavy on my shoulders and psychologically: How long can we live? What should I do in life?I seem to find that I have become "mature"-in fact, it is spiritual aging...

At this time, my senior and elder brother, Xu Guoqiang, Propaganda Director of the Suzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, was entrusted by the Suzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China to complete a reportage creation on "The Development History of Suzhou's Reform and Opening Up".I can't refuse such a request and task: I am a reportage writer, and I am from Suzhou. In the following time, it was my intermittent interviews and writing, intermittent writing and interviews, which have been delayed until now.But I feel that this time is still not enough, far from enough. In addition to the work in my own unit, which is often involuntary, the beautiful land of my hometown has undergone too many changes in the 30 years since I left home! How can I write about her great changes, her experience and her greatness when I use my spare time and holidays to contact and interview, experience and create in a hurry?Because of this, I am always uneasy.Fortunately, I am a son of Suzhou. In front of my parents and fellow villagers, they will forgive me for my poor performance and deficiencies.

If it weren't for time and work, I know I could have written this book about my hometown better. This has nothing to do with respecting objective facts-it can be guaranteed that there is no such problem in this work. What I worry about is that my fathers and villagers have created experience and great achievements in the 30 years of reform and opening up. Am I not a sinner if I suffer from lack of energy and energy? However, what I want to say to the world and my fathers and folks is that I was very and extremely serious in the whole process of creating this book, and the emotion and seriousness I put into it are rare.Because I don't want my work to lack objectivity and create something negative. The four words "completely fair" can be used to describe the past 30 years of Suzhou and the achievements she has made today: Suzhou is really the development model with the most regional characteristics in the past 30 years of China's reform and opening up and the great example of China's socialist modernization. model. Her form of a well-off society in an all-round way today is exactly what we Chinese people want to achieve in the next ten or twenty years!Suzhou is a paradise on earth. After 30 years of reform and opening up, Suzhou is even more beautiful on earth. She is my paradise, your paradise, and the paradise of all of us Chinese!

The experience and development model that Suzhou people and Suzhou have provided us today and the "Suzhou spirit" they have forged can almost become the national spirit, national development model and development experience of our contemporary China, isn't it?So I feel motivated and proud to write this book.I should clearly tell the world: Although I have used nearly 500,000 words to record the 30-year history of reform and opening up in Suzhou, and wrote so many positive things, it does not mean that Suzhou is free from problems and shortcomings. However, what I want to tell you is that the problems that some people see and see in Suzhou are actually seen and seen by Suzhou people. These problems and deficiencies are the insurmountable transformation period that it must face in the process of rapid development. And the objective problems we are facing, and Suzhou people are able to hold high the banner of "development is the last word", while firmly grasping the concept of scientific development, insisting on seeking truth from facts and people-oriented, and are good at pursuing in finding their own shortcomings. Higher and more perfect goal.It is also because they pay special attention to the sound and rapid development of the economy, strive to promote the overall progress of the society, and work hard to continuously improve the people's living standards, so that today's development speed surpasses that of ordinary regions and ordinary cities and the happiness of the people. Life.

Suzhou is my hometown, my mother.I believe that she will be more beautiful and healthy under the correct leadership of the party and the government, and the common care and help of the people of the whole country.I also believe that Suzhou's experience and creative spirit will blossom and bear fruit everywhere in China.
