Chapter 22 12. Secretary Zhang Fengzhu

Zhang Fengzhu, female, was born in Shenyang in 1929. Her primary school was a missionary school run by Americans.During the Anti-Japanese War, I went to Mianyang, Sichuan, where I went to middle school, and then I was admitted to Northeastern University in Santai, Sichuan. In 1947, he studied in the History Department of Northeastern University. At the end of 1948, he entered the Lu Xun School of Literature of the Jicha Reliao United University in Rehe, and soon became the editor of the literary magazine "Literary Front" (later changed to "Northeast Literature and Art") of the Northeast Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and worked until 1952.During this period, Liu Zhen's first novel "Good Mother" was edited and distributed. Because of this novel, the Central Literature Institute run by Ding Ling admitted Liu Zhen.Later, Liu Zhen made certain achievements in the literary world, and was as famous as Ru Zhijuan.

In 1953, he went to Beijing and entered the Central Literature Institute. In September, she was transferred to Ding Ling's side as a secretary.At that time, Ding Ling didn't have much to do. She resigned some administrative positions and concentrated on writing.Zhang Fengzhu mainly helped her with some chores. In 1954, after Zhang graduated from the Literature Institute, he officially served as her secretary for a year. In 1958, due to the influence of "Ding Ling and Chen Qixia Anti-Party Clique" and "Ding Ling and Feng Xuefeng Rightist Anti-Party Clique", he was classified as a rightist, but he was not reformed through labor.

In 1959, he was assigned to Ningxia "Ningxia Literature and Art" as an editor. He returned to Beijing in 1964 and worked as a librarian at the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences where her husband worked. The "Cultural Revolution" began in 1967, and the family moved to Lintong, Shaanxi.Worked there for seven years. At the end of 1978, he was transferred back to the Writers Association. After the 1979 Wendai Conference, he returned to the magazine he worked for as the director of the editorial department. In 1983, he founded the magazine "Chinese Writers" and served as the deputy editor-in-chief until his retirement in 1991.During her presidency of "Chinese Writers", she published a series of reportages that had great influence, such as "The Little Emperor of China", novellas, etc., which aroused great repercussions in the society.Author of a collection of essays "He is a distant star in the sky" and so on.
