Luo Longji shouted loudly again: "I'm going back to Beijing tomorrow, and I want to settle accounts with you!" Luo Longji's second call was to Ye Duyi.The author interviewed Ye Duyi in Beijing on November 23, 1986.According to Ye Duyi’s recollection: When Luo Longji served as the head of the Central Propaganda Department of the Democratic League, I was the deputy head of the Propaganda Department.When he was the vice-chairman of the Democratic League, I was the director of the secretariat's office, so I had a lot of contacts.After Luo Longji was labeled as a "big rightist", I became a "liaison officer of the Zhangluo Alliance", which was mistakenly classified as a "rightist".That day, Luo Longji called me from Kunming and asked me who said the "Zhang Luo League" and what it was all about.He said that even he himself was the first to hear of the "Zhang Luo alliance", and there had never been any "alliance..." between him and Zhang Bojun.

Luo Longji's third call was to Pu Xixiu. Pu Xixiu, also known as "a capable female general" in Mao Zedong's article "Wen Wei Po's Bourgeois Direction Should Be Criticized". The relationship between Pu Xixiu and Luo Longji is extraordinary: 1. According to Li Jiansheng's recollection, when Luo Longji saw Zhang Bojun, he said to him very excitedly: "Bo Jun, haven't we quarreled enough? How many times have we quarreled? God knows, we have become an 'alliance'! Ridiculous, ridiculous, extremely ridiculous!" Luo Longji then questioned Zhang Bojun: "You admit that there is an 'alliance' in 'ideology'. I have such a big difference in thought with you, how can there be an 'ideological alliance'? Not only is there no organizational alliance between us, but there is also an ideological alliance. Fei Xiaotong said: "Luo Longji hates progressive intellectuals the most, and thinks they are people who 'look at the wind, look at the weather, buckle their hats, and punch coldly'."

Pan Dakui "admitted that he had always been considered a staunch implementer of Luo Longji's opinions, and was a member of Luo Longji's small sect."Pan Dakui said: "After the liberation of the whole country, Luo Longji had an 'invisible' small organization or sect, about ten people, including Zhang Dongsun, Liu Wang Liming, Zhou Jingwen, Zeng Zhaolun, Pan Guangdan, Wu Jingchao, Ye Duyi, Fei Xiaotong, Fan Puzhai, Zhang Zhihe and others." On the one hand, he said: "I have never said in the Democratic League that I am progressive in thinking", but he went on to say that even if his bones were burned to ashes, he did not oppose socialism and socialism. The attempts and conspiracies of the leadership of the opposition party, if found out, are willing to be punished by the laws of the country and the alliance.
