When I finally saw this book published, it felt like dust settled in my heart.The first draft of this book was written in 2007, then overturned and rewritten, and finished for the second time in 2009.Today, more than two years later, the feeling in my heart has already gone through ups and downs, and it has changed from the initial tension to calm and calm.Looking at the manuscripts that have been turned into typefaces is like waking up from a dream naturally, shaking the head, forgetting the sorrow and joy in the dream. When this book was first conceived, I didn't think too much about it.What I want to write is a story about a group of teenagers: a story that hovers between the environment of childhood and the environment of great changes in youth.Stories about yourself.There is no other ambition, no prodigious style, just this one attempted expression of conviction, from which all other details are derivative.This group of teenagers has no one to rely on, no ready-made model that they can trust, and no other model worthy of conversion that they can see. They can only wander between the past and the future with their own confusion of infinite exploration, and in the past life. Walking between memory and reality.It is easy for them to believe nothing, but it is very difficult for them to believe anything.

When I first started writing, many things were just assumptions, and I didn't think about their close relationship with reality.Until this year, when I saw the popular smartphones, the Pirate Party in Europe, and the footage of Occupy Wall Street, I felt an unexpected feeling in my heart. The news slipped by, and the feeling lingered in my heart.Another important thing is the peas under the bed of Princess and the Pea. This book belongs to the younger days.Looking back, there are many places in this book that are too straightforward, that is, the words that debate each other.People in everyday life hardly ever have such conversations.Even though changing to an outer space reduces the discomfort, it's still there.This is a unique language belonging to that period of writing. I want to debate too many things, debate with friends, and want to talk about those big words.Keep them when you revise, and want to keep them there even though you can see the flaws in them.Because they are so young.I should never write like this again in the future, they will stay in the sparks in the wind just like those years.

In 2009, there were three manuscripts with similar length. Due to the change of publication plan, they were published separately.The length of the first part increased by 20,000 to 30,000 words, and the latter two parts were streamlined and shortened.So it seems a bit redundant.This is the change of the external status quo to the work, which is more or less accidental.But that doesn't affect the overall structure, they're still one story, from the beginning.Every sentence is an arrow towards the end, without an end, there is no beginning.The life that can see the ending is the biggest difference between the people in the book and us.

The book quotes two of my favorite books, "The Wind, Sand and Stars" and "The Myth of Sisyphus", hoping it can be regarded as a tribute.Those sentences used to be my strength, and this time I also wrote my own time because of the novel.Dvorak's "From the New World" (From the New World) is also an important source for the novel, and I even want to use "From the New World" as the name of the novel.One night in 2006, I was on a strange bridge with two bags of food bought from the supermarket in my hand. Because of the fourth movement in the earphones, I stopped and faced the clear moonlight under the bridge. I stood on the river for a long time, and saw the picture of flying on the plain there, which has been in my mind for a long time, and that is the origin of the novel.I would love to write To Dvořák IX on the title page.I just felt that it was too pretentious, and I was afraid that people would be disgusted, so I gave up.It is written in the postscript to record the excitement of the past.In many cases, what is needed for writing is only the first picture, a contact point.
