Chapter 52 Simplified version postscript

Thank you World Chinese Science Fiction Association for awarding me the Best Long Science Fiction Novel of the Nebula Awards. In 2010, I went to Chengdu to attend the awards ceremony, and saw that there are a lot of talents in the science fiction field in the Mainland. In addition to authors and editors, there are also scholars, fan groups, full-time cover designers and other links that complement each other, forming a complete industrial chain. Call me I'm so envious. If there is anything lacking, it is the link that finally becomes a movie.As we all know, the most lacking genre of Chinese-language movies is the section of science fiction movies.

And since I wrote the story of "Humanoid Software", I designed it into a trilogy structure with a suspenseful and complex structure, added a sense of imagery, and made it into a movie as the ultimate goal. Needless to say, it is impossible to turn such a series into a movie in one go. In addition to funds, what is lacking is talent. I am afraid it will take many years to realize it. It is not only my wish, but also the expectation of many Hong Kong readers (see their comments after reading it!), and I am happy to see it come true. Thanks to Liu Cixin and Han Song, two sci-fi masters for writing recommendations for me.I read Teacher Han Song's masterpiece "Cosmic Tombstone" which won the first World Chinese Science Fiction Art Award in the "Phantom" science fiction magazine in the 1990s, and I was very impressed.I was still a young reader at that time, and I never thought that almost twenty years later, I would meet in Chengdu by fate.On the same day, I also met with Teacher Liu Cixin.The grandeur and completeness of it left me speechless.The selection and focus of sci-fi creation in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan are quite different, and there are too many places to learn from, which are beyond the scope of this postscript.

Thank you Yao Haijun, deputy editor-in-chief of "Science Fiction World" magazine, for agreeing to put the words "Recommended by Science Fiction World Magazine" on this book.These eight words mean a lot to me.I had contributed to "Science Fiction World" more than ten years ago, and was favored to publish the sports-themed "Asymptote" in the April 1998 issue.I met the then leader Ms. Yang Xiao in Hong Kong.We met again in Chengdu last year. Unexpectedly, twelve years have passed, and I have changed from a young man to a middle-aged man, so I am deeply moved.
