Chapter 65 Hong Kong version postscript

Volume 2 is nearly a year away from Volume 1. Volume 2 actually doesn’t have to take that long to write. The first draft was completed as early as October 2010. However, I have too many stories to tell, and I also want to finish the series of "Humanoid Software" early; the publisher is unwilling to take risks. Under the agreement, I changed the publishing plan and designed it into a trilogy structure. This major change is the third time, and it took a lot of time, but it has not been completed until now. During the writing period of Volume 1 to Volume 2, I also wrote two and a half long novels, but the types did not suit the tastes of Hong Kong readers (one is the reasoning of the case, the other is sci-fi romance, and the other half is the beginning of another series; In addition to "The Reincarnation Family", which was shortlisted for the Shimada Shoji Mystery Fiction Award two years ago, my inventory is not bad), all of which are aimed at markets outside Hong Kong.

This year I have another book that will be published in Taiwan in the spring, which is "The Thief of the Body", which won the second place in the Komi Ruizhi Million Film and Fiction Award last year. The name is stolen from the master of vampire novels Anne Rice. )'s The Tale of the Body Thief.Later, the Dongchuang incident was discovered, and when it was published, it was renamed "Soul Trickster". I have started writing Volume 3, which I hope will be published in the second half of the year. The original form of Einstein in this book comes from the biography "Einstein: His Life and Universe" (Einstein: His Life and Universe) written by Walter Isaacson. The great scientist is a genius, but he is still a human being. He had extramarital affairs. He wrote family letters from 1914 to 1955, and talked about many private matters that cannot be made public. After his death, these family letters were finally taken over by his stepdaughter, who donated them to the University of Jerusalem, but it was stipulated that they could not be made public until 20 years after her death.

In 2006, after all family letters were unearthed, this book is the first published biography of Einstein. When Nobel Prize winner Marquez wrote it, in order to investigate the background and psychological state of Bolivar, the leader of the Latin American War of Independence, he spent several years doing research. In addition to the biography, he also read the letters written by the protagonist throughout his life. , and call several historians for advice at any time, and ask them to correct them after the manuscript is completed. What I think is even more rare—or outrageous—is asking astronomers to find out the location of a certain constellation when Bolivar watched the stars on a certain day.

I don't have the luxury of N years of sharpening my sword to read all ten and eight of Einstein's biographies and every letter he wrote, and I don't know any physicists who have published articles in Scientific American. Scientist, let me wake him up in the middle of the night so he can listen to my calls. I'm just writing fiction, not research, but that doesn't mean background checks aren't important. All I can do is to do my best with limited resources and space. Marquez researched it so thoroughly that he dared to say that it was Bolivar himself.I am quite guilty of this point, and I will never say that the image of Einstein in this book will be recognized by him.I, an ordinary man, can only grasp a scrap of the inner world of the master genius. However, I believe that when he looks around the current international situation, he will be as frustrated and disappointed as he was with the classic portrait left by the master photographer Philippe Halsman in 1947.

In the end, I would like to thank my colleagues in the publishing house for allowing this book to gain a lot of exposure in bookstores and the media.Thank you journalist friends, whether you are a journalist who writes interview articles, or a photographer who strives to make my middle-aged uncle look better, you let more people know me, and let me find friends who have lost contact for a long time, Let the neighbors recognize me.This is more troublesome. Some restaurants think that I am also a gourmet, so I can write food reviews in newspapers and periodicals!I can only insist on paying for the meal.

Thank you to the World Chinese Science Fiction Association for organizing the Global Chinese Nebula Awards in the Mainland.I didn't even think that I could get any prize for writing the first paper. This award is like other novel awards I have won on the road of writing. It is not to affirm how good my work is, but to spur me to continue to write well. Thank you Mr. Han Song for writing a 3,000-character long article in "Literary News" to promote "Humanoid Software", and let me quote it as a recommendation for this book.I read the famous work "Cosmic Tombstone" that won the first World Chinese Science Fiction Art Award in the "Phantom" science fiction magazine in the 1990s, and I was very impressed.I was still a young reader at that time, and I never thought that almost twenty years later, I would meet in Chengdu by fate.

I would also like to thank the readers who bought Volume 1 back, whether you sent me a text message with the word "good looking" or left a message on my facebook graffiti wall. (One of them sat on the toilet "can't stop" and read most of the "Humanoid Software" in one sitting. The information was posted on June 7, 2010. Friends who are patient can find it here.) Or on blogs or anobii I thank you for leaving a comment, or even just silently buying the book and going back to read it. I do not reply to comments. However, some criticisms are quite reasonable, and I also hope that I will continue to improve.

There is no best work, only better work. Finally, I would like to thank my friend Brother Cai.His opinions are very thoughtful, and the density of his encouragement is so high that it is breathless. To gain a confidant on the road of writing is to die without regret.
