This story seems to be very pessimistic, but naturally it does not mean to tell everyone to commit suicide.However, it is undeniable that if the range of human activities is really represented by lines, there is actually no difference from the activities of insects. We are people in big cities, and our daily activities may come and go within a range of ten miles. Even if we have the opportunity to travel to other places, it is just a longer line.However, humans have thoughts, and there is no limit to the scope of human thought activities. They can go to the world, and can go as far as the outer space hundreds of millions of light years away. This may be the root of supporting human survival.Or maybe, human beings are used to living like insects, and only truly intelligent people feel sad and meaningless. Of course, these are beyond the scope of the story.
