Chapter 29 thank you

star trek redshirt 约翰·斯卡尔齐 1177Words 2018-03-14
This novel was inspired by a sci-fi TV show I was a part of, so first of all, allow me to make the following statement: "Red Shirt" has no connection to the TV series "Stargate: Universe".Anyone who tries to misinterpret my motives as an implicit satire of this personal experience will be disappointed. In fact, I want to say that "Stargate: Universe" is a completely different work from "The Chronicles of the Intrepid"-no matter in terms of naming, ingenuity in conception, proficiency in writing, or recognition from a scientific point of view, the former is completely different. complete victory.

I'm very happy to be the creative consultant on Stargate: Universe, and I've had a lot of fun myself.Of course, I also enjoy the process of watching, whether as a fan of sci-fi movies or as a production staff to see my role in it being brought to the screen. This is so cool.So the book came out, thanks to Stargate producers Brad Wright and Joe Maloch, who invited me to be a part of the show. Here I also express my sincere respect to all the actors, crew members, screenwriters and other staff of this TV series.I regret not being able to work with you for a longer period of time, but there is always a feast that lasts.

While writing this novel, I also served as the president of the largest science fiction/fantasy writers organization in the world (maybe the entire universe, although there is no way to verify it yet), the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association of America (SFWA).For several years, there have been rumors that anyone who becomes the chairman of SFWA must lose a year of creative life, or health.I'm glad it didn't work out - I think the reason is that I've been lucky to have a very talented and dedicated leadership team who have provided the same, if not better, service to our members.

So my thanks to Amy Sterling Cassirer, Jim Fiskes, Bob Howe, Lee Martindale, Bud Spahock, Sean Williams and especially to Mary Robinette Kowal expresses my sincere appreciation and thanks. It has been a real honor to work with each of you. Also thanks to everyone who has contributed to SFWA, an association I am proud to be a part of. Every time I write a novel, I am pleasantly surprised by how complete the text is when it finally arrives in book form.Because there are so many good people working on it in the process.I've had help throughout the writing of this book: Patrick Nelson Haydon, my managing editor; Erin Gallo, Tor's art director; Peter Luthien, the cover designer; and Sona, the copy editor. Vogel; text designer Heather Saunders and production editor Rafael Gibeck. Thanks also to my evangelist Cassie Amerman at Tor, and of course Tom Doherty, who has been publishing my work, and I've been having a lot of fun doing it.Also thanks go to my agent Ethan Eilenberg and Ivan Gregory for selling my work overseas.

"Red Shirt" was offered to a small group of readers, and the invaluable feedback convinced me that this novel is not simply a spoof of a sci-fi TV show (although it appears to be).So I also want to express my thanks to Reagan Avery, Karen Meinster, Wil Wheaton, Dorschel Young, Paul Subhan and Greg DiCostanzo, Thanks also to my wife, Christine Scalzi, who has always supported me.I'm really happy that she understands me. Finally, thank you, dear reader.I'm glad you want to read more books. If I can get your support as always, I will continue to write as always. This is a solemn promise.
