Chapter 18 Chapter Eighteen: The Way to Win

After the collapse of Zhang Jing, Zhao Wenhua's life is getting better and better. Hu Zongxian's work is very good, Xu Hai was killed, and the momentum of the Japanese pirates was greatly reduced. The emperor took a lot of rewards, and was promoted from vice minister to minister (Shangshu of the Ministry of Industry). So another smug story begins. Zhao Wenhua is well-off, rich, and his wings are hardened. He plans to operate independently, kick out the middleman and godfather Yan Song, and contact the wholesaler Comrade Jiajing directly. In order to achieve this goal, he presented Jiajing with something——Baihua Xianjiu. To be honest, I don’t know what the composition of this wine is and how strong it is, but according to Comrade Zhao Wenhua, the reason why his godfather Yan Song was able to At the age of seventy or eighty, there is still no calcium deficiency, and I can go up to the sixth floor in one breath, with no sore waist or leg pain, thanks to this wine.

After Jiajing drank it, he felt pretty good, but when he looked back, he felt that it was wrong. Yan Song had such a good thing, but he didn't take the initiative to hand it over to the leader and swallowed it all by himself, which is really disgusting. So he issued an order to Yan Shoufu, asking him to explain the problem of wine. Yan Song never expected that his backyard was on fire, and he was furious: "How could Wenhua do such a thing!" After the anger was over, the emperor still had to reply. It would be difficult to explain this matter to ordinary people, but Yan Shoufu would never be troubled. He made use of his expertise in Taijiquan and gave the following answer:

"Your majesty is too polite. I usually don't take medicine, and I don't take any special supplements. I am also very puzzled that I can live for so many years." Jiajing didn't take it seriously at first, and let him fool him, but Yan Song scared half his life, and found Zhao Wenhua overnight, scolded him, and told him to pack up and leave. It was only then that Zhao Wenhua realized that if he left Yan Song, he would be nothing, so he knelt down and begged for mercy, crying bitterly, hoping that Father Yan would forgive him once, and never do it again. In fact, Yan Song still had feelings for this son, but he was angry at the time, so he ignored it. However, at this delicate moment, another person suddenly came in and got involved.

This person is Xu Jie. As soon as Zhao Wenhua delivered the wine, he knew something was going to happen. He squatted aside and prepared to watch a good show. Is it pleasing to the eye, let me clean him up for you. Xu Jie made an ingenious move. Such a move would not only take the opportunity to get rid of Yan Song's minions, but also won't offend others. By the way, he could express his respect for the leader, which can be said to kill three birds with one stone. But Yan Song was Yan Song after all. Although he hated Zhao Wenhua, he would never trust Xu Jie. After a few words of thanks, he sent him away.

Xu Jie left disappointed, but he did not expect that his attempted move would lead to a series of unexpected results. The news quickly reached Zhao Wenhua's ears. He was completely flustered, thinking that his father really wanted to deal with him, so he had no choice but to resort to a trick. It is impossible to persuade Yan Song. Now that things are going on, he can only follow the family route, give them gifts, and speak for himself. But Yan Shifan couldn't think about it. This guy was too greedy, and he probably couldn't fill this pit if he went bankrupt. In desperation, Zhao Wenhua had an idea and thought of another person.

Yan Song has done a lot of evil in his life, and he has cheated countless people. It is really a "mass grave", but as the saying goes, Qin Hui also has three friends. In this world, Yan Song also has a wholehearted person who knows each other and loves each other. This person is his wife, Ouyang Shi. When Yan Song was trampled on, his wife never left him and always supported him by his side.So Yan Song only had her as one wife in his whole life, and never took concubines. Until she passed away, Yan Song didn't remarry. They were really standard model couples. The person Zhao Wenhua found was Ouyang Shi. He spared no expense, prepared an extremely heavy gift, and came to the door in person, knelt down and cried, hoping for forgiveness.

If it is still a woman, the old lady accepted the gift, and seeing him as pitiful, she hid him in the back room. After Yan Song came back, she drank him a few glasses of wine and said a few good words, and called Zhao's son when he was happy. After coming out, kneeling and crying, Yan Song also felt that he couldn't do without this dog, so he forgave him. Ordinarily, when the matter came to this point, everyone should be happy and have a happy ending. However, brother Wenhua is worthy of being a master at causing trouble. Soon, he will offend another person, and this person, he can't handle it no matter what.

Brother Wen Hua was heartbroken because he spent too much money on gifts, and determined to get back the money. Of course, this was not a difficult task for him, because he was the Minister of the Ministry of Industry and the largest contractor in the country. There are so many projects in the world, if you just grab one, it's almost enough. Zhao Wenhua thought this way, and he did the same thing. He started to use his strengths to make a lot of money. It doesn't matter whether you are a tofu slag or an unfinished building, as long as you can make money, whoever wants to live can live, anyway, I can't live.

But the problem is that Zhao Shangshu's desire to turn over the book is too strong, he puts his full horsepower, fishes recklessly, works overtime, and finally gets out of trouble. Because the emperor also wants to build a house. Although Comrade Jiajing practices Taoism every day, he has not yet become an immortal after all, and he still has to eat and sleep. However, the housing conditions in Xiyuan are limited, so he decided to build a new house. Naturally, this real estate project was handed over to the Ministry of Industry. It is said that the emperor's project should be done quickly, but Minister Zhao didn't know if his head hit a pillar, so he ignored it and let it go. As a result, a house was repaired for several months. It has not yet been formed, and it has become an unfinished building.

Comrade Jiajing is worthy of praise. He did not urge Zhao Wenhua to stay in his old house. However, an accident not long after that brought the contractor to a dead end. One day, when Jiajing had nothing to do, he climbed up and looked far away, and suddenly saw a mansion on West Chang'an Street, so he asked the people next to him: "Whose house is that?" It's time to test your character. One hundred years ago, Ming Yingzong Zhu Qizhen once stood on a high platform, looked at similar buildings, and asked the same question, and the result of that question and answer was that Shi Heng, who was once glorious The whole family was destroyed.

It has always been a very dangerous thing to build a mansion near the imperial palace, but people never change their ways, and Zhao Wenhua obviously does not have enough awareness, so the next answer will determine his fate. If Minister Zhao had a good character and good connections, he should be able to avoid this disaster, but unfortunately, this brother usually lacks quality. The accompanying people around Jiajing immediately scrambled to say Minister Zhao's name, and an unkind man said something like this: "Most of the building materials from the Ministry of Industry were used to repair Zhao Shangshu's house, so how can His Majesty's new house be used!" This pair of rotten medicine was taken too hard, looking at the mansion in front of him, recalling his own unfinished building, Jiajing was furious: Zhao Wenhua, you are probably tired of living a crooked way! Minister Zhao's life came to an end here. The emperor did not stop after demoting him from his position, but he was completely dismissed as a civilian and arranged for his son to be exiled to the border.Although Yan Song managed in many ways, it was of no avail. Brother Wenhua, who wanted to recapture the book, had to pay a lot. He didn't even treat ordinary people. He died suddenly on the way home. He said it was a sudden death because the way he died was so unbelievable. This brother felt depressed one night, so he started rubbing his stomach, rubbing it, and rubbing himself to death (hands touched his abdomen, gastrorrhea, viscera protruded, and he died). I have always wondered about this. Comrade Zhao Wenhua should have never practiced iron sand palms. He can rub his stomach so badly, and he has such a character. One of Yan Song's most important minions is finished. Although he is still intact, the foundation of the Yan Party has begun to shake. This is Xu Jie's first victory. Although it has little effect, it is a good start. Ordinarily, when Zhao Wenhua died, the matter would be over, but after more than 20 years of tempering, Xu Jie has understood this truth: It is not enough to beat the dog in the water, it is better to eat the dog meat as well. Not long after, he sent a letter to the emperor to impeach Zhao Wenhua for embezzling military pay, which amounted to more than 100,000 silver.Jiajing was even more annoyed, and ordered the family to search for stolen goods. It is estimated that the emperor did not expect that this order actually created a record for recovering stolen goods. Since Zhao Wenhua's property was not enough after the ransacking, the money should be compensated by his descendants according to regulations. No money to pay?It doesn't matter, exiles are also paid. So the money was paid to Jiajing's son's son until the eleventh year of Wanli, and only half of it was paid. Then pay, or lose all, or die. Comrade Zhao Wenhua's tragic experience tells us that even if you are poor and crazy, the emperor's things cannot be moved anyway. The death of Zhao Shangshu was a loss to Yan Song, a victory to Xu Jie, but a terrible disaster to Hu Zongxian. Hu Zongxian naturally doesn't like this greedy and stupid contractor, but this contractor is his backer and pillar. Now that he is dead, he has not only lost his connection with the strict party, but also lost his strong support. Hu Zongxian This name has already been registered on the list of the strict party, and it may be watched by people at any time. Although Yan Song has deep roots, he is not a direct descendant. If something happens, this old fox may not be willing to show up. In fact, he has already received news that some speech officials are saving up their saliva, and they are going to take the knife on him, and there is no one to protect him. If he is punished, not only will he be finished, but even Xu Wei, Yu Dayou, and Qi Jiguang's team will be with him. Leaving, years of hard work will naturally go to waste. For more than ten years, he has groveled, flattered, done countless things against his will, and said many things against his will, all for the sake of his ambition of serving the country and saving the people. Hu Zongxian didn't want his anti-Japanese plan to be ruined, but Yan Song could no longer count on it, and Xu Jie had no contact with him, so after thinking about it, there was no way out. But just when he was in despair, the Zhoushan magistrate sent him a strange gift. Looking at the gift in front of him, Hu Zongxian finally thought of a way, but at the same time he also realized that if he wanted to succeed in one fell swoop, Another person's help is needed. So he found Xu Wei. Xu Wei was quite familiar with the current situation, so he asked Hu Zongxian straight to the point: Zhao Wenhua has fallen, what are you going to do? Hu Zongxian answered him, he fell down, it's no big deal, as long as the emperor supports me, no one can touch me. Xu Wei didn't speak, but his disapproving expression questioned Governor Hu: Who do you think you are?Why does the emperor support you? Hu Zongxian showed a complacent look on his face, and told him calmly: Don't worry, I have already got a treasure, as long as I dedicate it to the emperor, I will not worry about great things. The treasure that Hu Zongxian mentioned was the gift from the local officials in Zhoushan—the White Deer. Speaking of this thing, I haven't seen it before. I guess it's not a new breed. It's albinism, or the product of a genetic mutation. But if it was given to Jiajing, it would be the right kind of flattery, because he likes this. Comrade Jiajing practiced Taoism for decades, just to become a fairy. But there is no certainty about becoming an immortal. The ministers are eagerly looking forward to it every day. Someday you will grow wings and fly up. We will set off firecrackers to send you off, so that we can choose a new one, but it just drags on. Jin After eating countless pills, he could neither become a fairy nor kill a person. Gradually, Jiajing himself lost confidence. So he urgently needs the revelation from the heavens, which is a novelty that is not usually seen. The historical term is called "auspiciousness", to prove that his efforts are not in vain, and that God is still covering him. He continued to fight for the Taoism. The white deer is naturally the best evidence. But this flattery needs to be shot well and resoundingly, and a decent article is needed. You can't just say "sent by my minister Hu Zongxian". It is necessary to strengthen the emperor's confidence and convince him that the future of cultivating the Tao is bright, lofty, and promising. This is an extremely important article. It is related to Hu Zongxian's future, to the plan to fight against the Japanese, and to the peace of the people along the southeast coast. "Thus, although the world is big, you are the only one who can write this article." Hu Zongxian stared at Xu Wei solemnly, and he rolled up his sleeves, ready to grind ink for him himself. Xu Wei already understood thoroughly, he understood what he was going to do and why he was doing it, so he picked up the pen. On that night, Xu Wei generously injected his talent, wisdom and lifelong learning into this absurd article for a noble reason. This is a famous flattering article in history, with beautiful words, but absurd. In the eyes of many people, this article is a failure in the life of the great talent Xu Wei, because it is full of humbleness and baseness, without the slightest flaw integrity. But in fact, behind this humble article, there is a dazzling light-even if you bow your knees, even if you deliberately flatter, you will never accept failure and never give up lightly. So I think that although Hu Zongxian was greedy and Xu Wei was arrogant, they did a great thing that night. Once again, Xu Wei's talent and learning were affirmed. Comrade Jiajing was elated after reading the article. He not only rewarded a lot of property, but even went to the ancestral temple to pray. It can be said that he was overjoyed. Hu Zongxian's status has been completely preserved. In fact, he no longer needs to be attached to anyone, because he has won the support of the emperor, and the Japanese pirate rebellion that has plagued the country for decades will be completely extinguished in his hands. As for this thrilling scene, Qi Jiguang knew nothing about it. Of course, even if he knew, it would be all right. For him, there was a more troublesome and practical problem to be solved. After rigorous training, the Yiwu army has already possessed extremely strong combat effectiveness. However, after several encounters with Japanese pirates, Qi Jiguang found helplessly that although he could defeat the enemy every time, he always killed a thousand people and lost eight hundred. The casualty ratio was about the same. It's not that our army is incompetent, but that the enemy is too fierce. To be honest, the Japanese pirates are indeed extremely powerful, because these people are lone overseas to rob, and they may be killed at any time. If they want to survive, they can only do their best. Among them, the more terrifying ones are the samurai and ronin who wield katana swords. You know, if a Japanese wants to use a samurai sword proficiently, he needs at least five years of training, and what many people can't imagine is that their swords rarely collide with Ming army weapons in close combat , The sword is extremely calm, always attacking from the air, specially cutting the weak parts that are not covered by armor, if you don't hit, you will be seriously injured. It is not an exaggeration to say that they are martial arts masters. Relatively speaking, the fighting spirit of Yiwu soldiers is also very tenacious, but after all, the training time is short, and martial arts is not a pancake. Everyone has the potential to become a robber, even if four or five thousand people are killed, it will not help. Qi Jiguang knew very well that the cost would be too high and it would be difficult to eliminate the Japanese pirates if he fought hand-to-hand. However, in that era when cold weapons were the mainstay, there seemed to be no better way than copying guys and fighting the enemy. Just when Qi Jiguang was at his wit's end, a person came to him and helped him find the way to win. Not long ago, Tang Shunzhi came to Zhejiang from the capital, and his mission was to inspect military affairs.Compared with his former colleague Xu Jie, who is now a first-rank cabinet scholar, his progress is really limited, and he is still only a fifth-rank official. However, this is only a superficial phenomenon. In fact, he is a person with extraordinary influence. His official title is only five ranks, but it is an extremely important position——Ministry of War Fang Si Langzhong, as the chief of the general staff of the Ming army, he He has an extensive network of relationships in the army. In addition, he also has inexplicable and unclear relationships with many mysterious people. Even Xu Jie can't figure out his background. So when he left Beijing, Xu Jie found him on purpose and asked him how to deal with Yan Song. However, Tang Shunzhi just smiled, and he told Xu Jie that when the time comes, someone will naturally come to you. After bidding farewell to the bewildered Xu Jie, Tang Shunzhi came to Zhejiang and met Hu Zongxian. Hu Zongxian respected this extraordinary figure very much, treated him with courtesy, and let him go to the front to command operations in accordance with his own wishes. It was there that he met Yu Dayou, Lu Tong, and Qi Jiguang. And when General Qi, who was at a loss, told him his troubles, Tang Shunzhi handed him a book and told him that the way to win lies in it. The reason why Tang Shun is so unpredictable is that besides his strange whereabouts and wandering around, it is also because he has written a set of books. Wu, Confucianism, and Barnyard, collectively known as the six series. It is said that this book explains everything from astronomy to geography, but few people read it because of one shortcoming—it is difficult to understand. The volume he handed to Qi Jiguang was "Wu". As Tang Shunzhi said, Qi Jiguang, who had been studying hard all night, was suddenly overjoyed when he flipped through one of the chapters. He finally found what he wanted. General Qi once again spontaneously took out the Marxist philosophy, critically absorbed Tang Shunzhi's theory, and created his own secret weapon. He believed that this unique skill would come in handy in the near future. He didn't wait too long, and the most violent Japanese pirate attack finally came. In April of the 40th year of Jiajing (1561), more than 20,000 Japanese pirates assembled and marched towards Zhejiang. Their goal was Taizhou. The famous Taizhou War kicked off. At this time, Qi Jiguang no longer hesitated. On the contrary, he was very excited. As a military general, it was his duty to go to battle to kill the enemy, and at this time, he already had the certainty of victory. So he gave up the usual defensive strategy and ordered Liu Yi to garrison Taizhou, while he himself led the main force to take the initiative. He will use this move to tell the Japanese pirates: China is not a paradise for them to burn, kill, and plunder. Land invaders will pay a heavy price. All kinds of signs indicated that the first target of the enemy's invasion would be Ninghai. Qi Jiguang immediately traveled day and night to lead the army to meet the enemy, where he would command his first battle. When Qi Jiguang arrived in Ninghai, thousands of Japanese pirates had already landed. They did not panic when they saw the Ming army arriving, because according to past experience, what the Ming army feared most was close combat. As long as they approached them, they would defeat the former army , they will scramble to flee. So they launched a charge, and things seemed to go smoothly beyond imagination. They had just rushed in front of the Ming army, and before they could make a move, the opponent's formation collapsed on its own, and they gathered together in twos and threes. The Japanese pirates were very happy. In their view, another game of cat and mouse was about to begin. But if they observe carefully, they will find that the scattered Ming troops who seem to be in a panic all have the same number of people—eleven. And before they popularized arithmetic education, they heard a resounding call: "Array!" As a result, an unprecedented formation appeared in front of the Japanese pirates, and this was also the first time it appeared in history. In the "Wu" that Tang Shunzhi handed over to Qi Jiguang, there is a volume called "Secret Warfare", in which there is such a record: The secret warrior is also called the new name Yuanyangzhen. This brand-new formation is thus named - mandarin duck formation. If you want to study this formation in detail, it is estimated that you can write a book, so here is just a brief introduction, everyone can understand it, and it should be regarded as an instruction manual. To put it simply, the principle of the so-called mandarin duck formation is roughly the same as that of group fights. Aim at the target, beat them up in groups, hit them with beer bottles if they are far away, chop them with a watermelon knife when they are close, and stab them with a dagger when they are close to you. Whether you are black or white or kendo A few paragraphs, all finished. It is exactly the so-called "beating the master to death with random punches". Of course, this is just a figurative metaphor. In fact, the mandarin duck formation is a great masterpiece of ancient military wisdom. As a close combat formation, people still cannot find a way to break it in the following hundred years. And the reason why this mandarin duck formation composed of eleven people can be famous in military history and spread far and wide is because it not only has extremely terrifying fighting power, but also has almost no flaws. This is a near-perfect lineup for combat due to its impeccable position set and weaponry.Among these eleven people, one was the captain, who stood in the front and center of the team, and the other ten people were divided into two columns and stood behind him. Although there are only ten people, they hold four different weapons and form five coordinated attack lines. Behind the captain are two shield soldiers with javelins. They use their shields to cover themselves and their comrades behind. And first throw the javelin to attack. The shield soldiers are covered by the wolf-whip soldiers standing behind them. The so-called wolf-whip is a special weapon with a very strange shape. It uses a long iron rod as the main body, and it is covered with iron branches and barbs. , like barbed wire, no one can get through. Behind the wolf soldiers, there are four spearmen. They are the main attack force of the team. When they see the enemy, they use their spears to stab forward. At the end of the queue, there are two short swordsmen to prevent the opponent from turning around and protect the spearmen from the flanks. This is a formation without weaknesses. Eleven people cooperate with each other and cover each other to form a perfect killing formation. Even if you are the Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, you probably won't be able to sing. But the so-called ignorant people have no fear. The Japanese pirates in Ninghai played bushido regardless of what happened, and rushed forward desperately, but before taking a few steps, many people were shot down by flying javelins. If you continue to charge better, you will be blocked by a shield, or hooked by a wolf wand, pulled by the barb a few times, and even if you don't die, you will lose a layer of skin. If you are lucky and you are not dead by now, you don’t have to be too happy, because there are still four spears waiting for you. Even if you want to fight back, there are wolves and shields in front of you. Watching the other party stab you, if you don't get stabbed to death, you will also be pissed off. The situation is roughly like this. The Japanese pirates did not charge long, and most of them were killed by javelins, wolf whisks and spears. Although the rest of the people did not know the structure and mystery of this formation, they knew one thing—— If you don't run fast, you will die. The outpost battle in Ninghai ended in this way, the Japanese pirates killed and injured more than 200 people, and the Qi family army suffered no losses except for one minor injury. Qi Jiguang's first attack was a complete victory, and the Japanese pirates retreated across the board, but years of military accomplishment told him that things were not that simple. According to the intelligence, the enemy's invasion this time has a scale of tens of thousands of people, and has been carefully organized and assembled. Although this is only a vanguard force, the progress seems to be too smooth, as if it was arranged by someone. Qi Jiguang's premonition was correct. This was indeed a trap. At the same time as the army arrived in Ninghai, the main force of thousands of Japanese pirates was rushing towards Xinhe, intending to sneak attack Xinhe City. When the emergency military information reached the base camp, everyone was stunned, because Xinhe City was very empty and had no defense capability at all, and the families of Ming army generals and soldiers were mainly stationed inside, and most of them were women and children. In the hands of Japanese pirates, the consequences would be disastrous. Now everyone was nervous, their wives and children were still in the city, it was not a joke, so they all took the initiative to ask for a fight, hoping to return to help immediately. However, Qi Jiguang was very calm, just smiled and said to his subordinates: "Don't worry, please rest assured that the city will not fall until reinforcements arrive." As a general who doesn't like fooling around, Qi Jiguang's self-confidence is justified every time, and this time is no exception. The reason why he made such a judgment was because he knew very well that in Xinhe City, there lived an extremely powerful person. As long as this person is there, the pirates will never be able to enter the city. Qi Jiguang has read military books and practiced martial arts since he was a child. He has been on many battlefields, seen many dead people, and stepped on countless corpses. He has never heard that he can't eat or sleep. He is famous for his boldness. Is there anyone in this world who can make him feel scared? The answer is yes, although he has been in battle, although he has killed people, although he is very good, but he has always been deeply afraid of a person, to the extreme. This person is his wife. Henpecking is a traditional virtue in our country. There are many glorious deeds of "bronchitis" left in history. Comrade Qi Jiguang is naturally indispensable among them. His story of henpecking and his great achievements have been passed down through the ages. It is said that his wife was so fierce that he couldn't stand the trouble, so he moved out of the house in a fit of anger and lived in the barracks. His subordinates felt that he was useless and pitiful, and they all incited him: Your wife is so arrogant, she dares to bully you , we all put on our armor, prepared our swords, and waited in the camp. You call her in, hack her to death, and it's over. Qi Jiguang guessed that he had suffered a lot of grievances, so he stomped his feet in a fit of anger: Just do it!Hack her! When the appointed day came, his men were fully armed and lay in ambush in the camp, while Qi Jiguang sent someone to invite his wife into the camp. My wife came as scheduled. She entered the barracks, looked at the soldiers holding swords around her, and without fear, she asked Qi Jiguang loudly: "What's the matter with me?" In front of a fierce wife, Qi Jiguang did not show weakness, he suddenly stood up and said loudly: "I've just finished forming the team, and I'm asking my wife to come to the military parade!" This story is obviously false, because even if Qi Jiguang wanted to get rid of his wife, he would not call so many people to do it with such a big fanfare. After all, it is not a glorious thing to be kicked out by his wife. But the real Qi Jiguang in history is indeed a very henpecked person. In my opinion, the only difference between the historical facts and the above story is that even if he had such thoughts, he would never dare to do it. Many people think that the essence of being henpecked is to love your wife, but I believe that Comrade Qi Jiguang will never agree with this point of view. Because his wife was indeed a remarkable woman. At the age of eighteen, Qi Jiguang, who had just started work, married a girl surnamed Wang, who later became the Wang family. At that time, Qi Jiguang was already a commander of the fourth rank, but his wife's family background was even more powerful. The old father-in-law had once served as the commander-in-chief and was a senior general of the Ming army.Out of the door, Wang has a stubborn temper, and has practiced martial arts since she was a child, and is good at using swords. It is said that even Qi Jiguang is not her opponent when she gets angry, and she is often beaten and ran around. In terms of family background, they are not comparable, and if they want to fight, they may not be able to win, so when the two have conflicts, it is mostly Qi Jiguang who makes concessions. Although the wife is very strong, in fact, as long as it does not touch the principle, she is very good to Qi Jiguang. At that time, General Qi’s family was not rich. Once he bought a fish to improve the food. The wife prepared it and brought it to see—only the fish head and tail. Qi Jiguang guessed that his wife ate it by herself, so she didn't make a sound, but when it was time for dinner, Mrs. Wang brought up the rest of the fish. But if it involves a matter of principle, it's hard to say. This so-called matter of principle is taking concubines. Qi Jiguang is actually not lustful. The reason why he moved this idea is really because of the poison of feudal ideology-there are three kinds of unfilial piety, and the worst is having no offspring. However, the Wang family has no sons, and they were born with great difficulty, but they all died young. Seeing that his wife was getting old, Qi Jiguang moved his mind. When he was thirty-five years old, he married his first concubine, Shen Shi, and then Married Chen and Yang respectively. With the help of his concubine, Qi Jiguang finally had his own son, who later became Qi Anguo, Qi Changguo, Qi Xingguo and others. Although in the evil old society, polygamy was allowed by the state, and marrying a concubine would not involve the issue of having a mistress, but it also depends on the specific situation. Qi Jiguang knew that if his wife found out, it would be a big deal. So he tightly sealed the news that he did all these things without telling his wife. But the paper can't keep the fire after all, three women and those few lively children, is it cataract for you to be a wife? The wife is angry, and the matter is getting worse. Generally speaking, when hearing that her husband has a mistress, there are only the following reactions, either to settle the matter, or to go to the court to file for a divorce. Even the famous shrew in the legend, nicknamed "He Dong" Liu Yue'e, who is a "lion", just went to her husband's unit to make trouble with her superiors. Wang's handling method was quite different. When she heard the news, she didn't look for the organization or the leader, just picked up a sharp knife and ran to Qi Jiguang. It is commendable that Comrade Qi Jiguang was very clever, and he ran away immediately when he heard the news. Mrs. Wang rushed to nothing, but refused to give up. He squatted at home every day and threatened: If you can run away, the monk can't run away from the temple, and if you don't chop it up You swear not to give up! Comrade Qi Jiguang was in trouble, he couldn’t go back home, and it’s not a problem to live in the unit, so he gritted his teeth, didn’t wear any armor, put on a suit and went home, before his wife had time to do it, he knelt down with a plop, Then wept loudly, denounced feudal ethics, said that he was also a victim, and had to do so in order to have a son, and talked about recalling the past, loving husband and wife, sharing weal and woe, and so on. After all, a woman is a woman, and after being fooled by Qi Jiguang for a while, her heart softened, and then she dropped the sharp knife, and cried with Qi Jiguang. Qi Jiguang went to the meeting alone, and with his courage and trust in his wife, he resolved the grievances. But if you think things are that simple, you're wrong. In fact, Qi Jiguang in history is a person who almost never takes risks. His art of war is "planning for war", that is to say, if he is not sure of winning, he will never fight. In his life, he has always followed this principle. My wife is so fierce, if she really chops herself up in a flash of anger, it will be a big loss. However, he still didn't bring his guards with him, and ran to his wife to reason without any fear. It wasn't because he had been emboldened by drinking, but because he was still wearing a piece of armor under his casual clothes. However, it is debatable to think that Comrade Qi Jiguang is cunning based on this. Facing such a brave wife, it is indeed not easy to survive and develop. Comrade Qi Jiguang's experience also tells us that before marrying a strong wife, one must be fully mentally prepared. This is the opponent that the pirates are about to challenge, and before long, they will feel the kind of fear that Qi Jiguang once experienced. When the Japanese pirates arrived at Xinhe City, people were extremely panicked. After all, all the soldiers in the city had already set out to fight, leaving only ordinary people, women and children, powerless to resist. So Wang attacked. At the critical moment, she stepped forward, summoned only a few hundred soldiers, and ordered them to post notices immediately to stabilize people's hearts, but these people alone are not enough to defend the city, so she went to the armory . The armory is the place where weapons are stored. If you want to resist the Japanese pirates, you must take out the weapons in the warehouse and equip the common people, so that you can persist until reinforcements arrive. But the guard was a fool, saying that Qi Jiguang handed it over to him, and he would not listen to anyone except Qi Jiguang's orders. Backed by Qi Jiguang, the guard comrade was very arrogant and resolutely refused to open the warehouse door. Unfortunately, the person in front of him was the only exception. Madam Qi didn't even have to look him in the eye, she immediately shouted: "What kind of thing are you? Quickly open the warehouse door! When Qi Jiguang comes back, let him just come to me!" The guard shivered. He knew that this woman would not be offended, so he immediately opened the door of the warehouse and distributed the weapons to the common people. After finishing her work, Mrs. Wang returned home, put on her ancestral armor, climbed to the top of the city, and prepared to command the battle. She will use her actions to prove that courage and valor are not exclusive to men. But although Madam Qi is fierce, she is also a sensible person: Although there are a lot of people now, these people can only act as a facade, and if they are expected to win the battle, they can only be caught blind. So after a moment of contemplation, she decided to use a trick. When the Japanese pirates ran to Xinhe City full of dreams of looting, they were surprised to find that the city was covered with flags, and the sound of killing was so loud that it could not get through. Bows and arrows were shot from time to time musket. This ostentation is really too big, just like negotiating in the underworld, the important thing is quantity rather than quality, whether you are an old man, old lady, or a housewife, as long as you are an individual, you will be dragged to the top of the city by Mrs. None, but scaring still works. The Japanese pirates were terrified, but they were unwilling to go back after running so far, so they camped outside the city, preparing to wait for a few more days. They only waited a day. It's not that he didn't want to wait, but because Qi Jiguang's reinforcements arrived the next day.
