Chapter 32 One-third of the world belongs to Jin

On August 5th of the third year of Jiaping in the Great Wei Dynasty, Sima Yi died in the capital at the age of seventy-three.Mrs. Bo swallowed gold and committed suicide that day. The young emperor Cao Fang was dying in plain clothes, and the funeral ceremonies followed the story of Huo Guang in the former Han Dynasty.Sima Fu played Chen Sima Yi's last will and resigned as the Duke of the county.On Gengshen Day in September, he was buried in Shouyang Mountain, Heyin, and his posthumous title was "Marquis Wenzhen". In the summer and March of the first year of Xianxi in the Great Wei Dynasty, Sima Zhao took advantage of his contribution to the Pingshu and became the King of Jin. In May, the Wei Dynasty proclaimed Sima Yi the "King Xuan of Jin".

In the winter and December of the second year of Xianxi in the Great Wei Dynasty, Jin accepted Wei Zen, and Sima Yan ascended the throne and proclaimed himself emperor. Sima Yi was honored as "Emperor Xuan", the mausoleum was called "Plateau", and the temple was called "Gaozu".Fourteen years later, Sima Yan dispatched troops and generals to attack from the east and the west at the same time, annexing Soochow in one fell swoop and unifying the whole country.So far, one-third of the world belongs to Jin. Luo Guanzhong's famous book uses an accurate and concise summary and evaluation of Sima Yi's wonderful life, which combines the dual roles of the defender of the Wei Dynasty and the founder of the Jin Dynasty:

Open the words to worship the sacred scriptures, and use martial arts to reach the gods. The hero of the Three Kingdoms, the economic minister of the Four Dynasties. The troops were stationed to drive away the tigers and leopards, and the adopted son got a unicorn. Zhuge often talked about being envious, and being able to return to heaven and earth. We believe that this ancient poem is the most fair coffin-closing theory for Sima Yi.
