It was my heart’s wish to write about Chen Tang, and the origin of it probably lies in a very heroic and beautiful sentence he said after killing Zhizhi Shanyu: “Whoever commits a strong man will be punished no matter how far away he is!” When every man is young, he does not necessarily dream of becoming a hero in his heart, but he will definitely worship heroes, and I am no exception. Therefore, reviewing Chen Tang's great feats of running thousands of miles in the desert, it is inevitable that my heart will be agitated. He must have excited the blood of many young men, and now on the Internet, "Those who commit a strong man will be punished no matter how far away!" has become a well-known saying, although most of the netizens do not know that this is what Chen Tang said Yes, I don't know who Chen Tang is.There is one difference that must be pointed out. When Chen Tang said this, there was indeed a real and powerful Han Dynasty supporting him behind him.But now young people on the Internet can only regard it as a colloquial phrase, and the popular name is "obscenity".

People from other races would probably say that this is a narrow nationalist. However, who can really abandon their national attributes? The Victorian British Prime Minister Lord Palmerston once proudly said: The French said: "If I am not French, I must wish to be English." The Englishman said: "If I am not English, I must wish to be English." The ancient Romans, he never said From "I am a Roman citizen" one knows how to protect oneself from insult.A British subject, wherever he may be, must be sure that the watchful eye and strong arm of England will always guard him from injury and abuse.

What a proud word, it is worthwhile to die for such a country, and it is a blessing to live in such a country. Of course, the Han Dynasty was not such a country. Compared with the Han Dynasty, although the Xiongnu is more barbaric and backward, there are still people from the Han Dynasty who are in distress on the border and flee to the Xiongnu from time to time, preferring to endure the "meat for food and cheese for pulp" Life.An intellectual in the Han Dynasty once said angrily: "Could it be that, as a citizen of the Han Dynasty, I have been wronged, and my emperor can't help me, but instead forces me to complain to the Xiongnu Shanyu?" The fate of being beheaded. But after two thousand years, I have a deep resonance with this sentence.

Chen Tang rushed thousands of miles to kill Zhizhi Shanyu, ostensibly because the envoy of the Han Dynasty was killed by Zhizhi Shanyu, and the Han Dynasty had to take revenge. As far as Chen Tang is concerned, it is just an individualistic adventure, which is no different from the adventures of European colonists in the 17th and 18th centuries all over the world.Of course, this adventure objectively expanded the reputation of the Han Dynasty and deterred Hu Hanxie Shanyu, another leader of the Huns. Since then, the Huns, who had harassed the Han Dynasty for two centuries, completely worshiped at the feet of the Han Dynasty. The border has remained safe for decades.Even from the perspective of an ordinary person, an adventure like Chen Tang's is undoubtedly worthwhile.

I try my best to show the real Chen Tang in my mind in the novel. His moral character is not noble at all, but he is not despicable either. He is just an ordinary person with a stronger will than us.It is beyond my power to create a hero who is tall and complete. Most of the plots of the novel are fictitious, except for the part about killing Zhi Zhi Shan Yu.In terms of plot, I tried to make it twists and turns without violating the historical situation of the Han Dynasty. The characters are also the same as my previous two novels, there are princes, generals, beauties, and handsome men. They are closely connected in one way or another around vivid or inanimate stories. In terms of narrative, it is quite different from the previous two.I have adopted the method of five people each narrating in the first person, in order to fully display the complex psychology of each individual as much as possible. As novels, historical novels are not romances after all, and cannot simply tell stories.I hope this doesn't detract from its readability.

This book took me more than half a year, and sometimes I even dreamed about the plot.Due to historical constraints, the plot cannot be made up wildly, so it is quite distressing. But I am still willing to rack my brains to find a balance point between history and imagination, and I cannot accept excessive slippage to this end or the other end of this balance point.Of course, this does not mean that I am writing a mediocre historical novel. I think it is a good-looking novel. Except for modern people who completely reject history, I hope that people with a bit of cultural literacy will like it .This is not because of how much historical knowledge I have provided, but because I have seriously grafted my imagination onto history.I really worked hard.

History is not a little girl to dress up, and neither should historical fiction be.
