The Da Ci'en Temple has been newly decorated, with stacked tents and incense sticks... Xuanzang was greatly moved when he heard this, and was deeply moved by the prince's filial piety. When he heard the sad part, he also shed tears. At the same time, the desire to go back to my hometown to visit my parents' tomb and visit my sister came into being. well!Xuanzang sighed in his heart: Although the monks said they wanted to leave the world, but this physical body was given by their parents, so how can we forget the great kindness and virtue of our parents. Prince Li Zhi of the Tang Dynasty was a dutiful son. In order to commemorate the early death of his mother, Empress Wen Deshun, he built a large-scale temple for her, named Da Ci'en Temple, which is very magnificent.Located in the south of Miyagi, the temple consists of more than a dozen courtyards, with a total of 1,897 houses. The prince named it Daci'en Temple in memory of Ciwu's kindness in nurturing. And ordained a group of monks to the temple.

In order for Xuanzang to live in Daci'en Temple to translate scriptures, the prince specially established a scripture translation institute in the courtyard. One day in the 22nd year of Zhenguan (AD 648), the autumn was crisp and the chrysanthemums and osmanthus competed for yellow. The imperial court will hold a grand celebration for the completion of the Daci'en Temple. On this day, the Da Ci'en Temple was newly decorated, with stacked tents and incense sticks... In the early morning, Anfumen Street was crowded with spectators. Tang Taizong led the crown prince, concubine and court ministers to watch from the tower of Anfumen with incense burners in their hands.

Emperor Taizong ordered Sun Wuji, Duke of Zhao, Li Jie, Duke of England, and Chu Suiliang, ordered by Zhongshu, to walk in the front with incense burners in their hands. Behind them were scriptures, Buddha statues and groups of monks who moved from Hongfu Temple to Daci'en Temple. Xuanzang greeted him standing outside the courtyard gate. Then, a grand ceremony was held in the solemn main hall.Da Ci'en Temple was built in memory of Empress Changsun.Tang Taizong led hundreds of officials to participate in this celebration in person. Empress Changsun is the first wife of Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty. Because of her kindness and benevolence, she became the concubine of Qin from Li Shimin to the concubine of the crown prince. After Emperor Taizong ascended the throne, she was named empress, and she was also the only empress of Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty.

Empress Changsun is the biological mother of Tang Gaozong Li Zhi. She is well-educated and reasonable, strict with others. Although she is expensive as a queen, she is neither arrogant nor extravagant, and her mother respects the world. She never interfered in government affairs, and advised Taizong not to use her relatives as high-ranking officials, but to learn the lessons of foreign relatives' dominance and harm to the country in history. She also advised Taizong from time to time to accept advice from the virtuous, which had a great influence on Tang Taizong's appointment of virtuous people.

In the harem, she set an example, worked diligently and thriftly, and treated concubines generously, so she was deeply respected inside and outside the court.Tang Taizong respected her very much and treated her with courtesy.Empress Changsun died of illness at the age of thirty-six.Tang Taizong was very sad. In memory of her, he no longer established a queen. At the celebration, Prince Li Zhi read a sacrificial oration to his mother, Empress Changsun, who had died for twelve years. Xuanzang was greatly moved when he heard this, and deeply felt the prince's filial piety. When I heard the sad part, I also shed tears. At the same time, the desire to go back to my hometown to visit the grave of my parents and visit my sister wished her well.

During the celebration ceremony, the royal orchestra played nine pieces of music, broken dances and hundred plays, and the scene was very lively. Xuanzang was chatting happily with his disciples when suddenly an old man squeezed over and knelt down to Xuanzang: "Master, don't come here without any harm, please accept Li's worship." Xuanzang was surprised, the old man raised his head, his eyes met... "Ah! It turned out that Li Chang was staying behind. I never expected to see you again. Xuanzang thanked you for letting me go when you left the customs. Please accept my worship." He put his palms together and bowed down to Li Chang. Li Chang supported him, and said, "Great Master, please stand up, how can this old man receive such an honor."

All the monks stared blankly when they saw it, and Xuanzang hurriedly said to his disciples, "This old man is the one I told you about, Lord Li Chang, who released me in Guazhou!" "Ah! Master Li, please accept the disciples' respect." "Disciples thank Master Li for his great kindness and virtue in saving the mage back then." All the disciples bowed down to Li Chang together. With a swipe, a large group fell to their knees in an instant. "Excuse me, excuse me." Li Chang hurriedly supported the monks. Li Chang looked at Xuanzang excitedly and said, "I have seen from the beginning that the mage has extraordinary ambitions and will achieve great success in the future, so I really agreed... Ha, ha, it really is true that where there is a will, there is a way!"

At this moment, there was already a large circle of people, all excitedly watching... "I heard that the mage escaped death and went through untold hardships to obtain the scriptures. The mage is really amazing!" Xuanzang said humbly: "Where, where, Mr. Li is over the award. Mr. Li came from Guazhou, right?" Li Chang replied: "No, I have already retired and returned to my hometown, and now I live in Chang'an City where there are already a lot of children and grandchildren." As he spoke, he pulled the young man beside him over and said to Xuanzang, "There is one thing I want to ask today, that is My eldest grandson likes Buddhism and worships the Master, so I wonder if the Master will accept him as a disciple?"

Xuanzang said, "Of course you can, of course you can." Li Chang smiled and said, "Bang'er, don't hesitate to thank the Master." The young man bowed down to Xuanzang immediately. Xuanzang said: "The shaving ceremony of five hundred monks will be held in the afternoon, and your grandson just caught up with it." Li Chang said happily: "Ah, that's great, you are so blessed, Banger, you must learn from the master in the future!" All the monks present applauded. One said: "Good deeds are rewarded with good deeds, and it really came true."

Another said: "Yes, yes! Good people are rewarded!" Li Chang smiled happily after hearing this. After the fast, Xuanzang presided over the shaving ceremony of five hundred monks, which was very spectacular.Since then, the Xuanzang Translation Institute was moved from Hongfu Temple to Da Ci'en Temple, and Da Ci'en Temple became the center of national Buddhism during the Tang Dynasty.
