Chapter 6 Chapter 5 The third Christmas card

They first met in a noisy tea room.He received a call from Chen Ping'ao, asking him to take a message to a girl there. "You tell him to give up on me! Anyway, find a way to get rid of her." "Isn't that good?" he said awkwardly. "When I see her again, she may have fantasies about me. I am doing it for her own good." Chen Ping'ao said in a compassionate tone. "I haven't seen her, it's better for you to go by yourself." "Don't worry! She won't eat people, and I really can't leave now. Her name is Shen Luyi, she has big eyes and long hair."

He wanted to say no, but Chen Pingao had already hung up the phone, so he had to change his clothes and rush to the tea room.Sometimes, even he himself doesn't understand why he and Chen Ping'ao can become good friends. They were classmates from the first grade of middle school to university. The personalities of the two diverge from each other.Chen Ping'ao is a heartthrob, handsome, and beautiful in painting. He has been surrounded by girls since he was a child. He himself is a bookworm who is not good at socializing. When he walked into the tea room, he saw a thin girl sitting in one of the boxes, staring at the door of the tea room, as if waiting for someone. He thought, this should be the person he was looking for.

He walked up to her bravely and asked: "Are you Shen Luyi?" The girl stared at him and asked, "Who are you?" "It was Chen Ping'ao who asked me to come to you. My name is Guo Xuanhua." "What about him? Why doesn't he come himself?" "He can't come because of something." He lied. Then he asked, "May I sit down?" The girl didn't answer, she bit her lip desperately, she really wanted not to cry, but the tears were gone. He sat in front of her carefully, afraid of disturbing her. The girl suddenly looked up at him, and said hoarsely:

"I can wait for him here, when will he come?" "I don't think he's coming," he faltered. For a moment he felt like an executioner about to execute this woman. The girl opened those pitiful big eyes and asked: "Did he like someone else?" The pair of puppy-like black eyes mooed towards him, full of sadness and melancholy. "I don't know." He shrugged. "Where is he? Can you take me to him?" Her voice trembled. "I didn't know he was there either," he said apologetically. A tear rolled down her face and fell into the half-drunk cup of milk tea in front of her. She murmured:

"I should have guessed it a long time ago. He asked me to meet in this kind of place, and he didn't want to come back to me at all." "This noisy tea room is indeed not a place for romance," he thought to himself. Her face was wrinkled and she was speechless. At that moment, he realized that she was wearing a waistcoat with a very low neckline. He didn't dare to look at her directly, so he had to move his gaze to the top of her head. "Why did he send you?" The words didn't feel like a question, but a whine. Her tears flew out suddenly, and she lay down on the table and howled.

"Uh, don't do this!" He stopped her in a panic, but found that he had no experience in dealing with such things at all. Everyone in the tea room looked at him, as if he was the betrayer who started to mess up and gave up. "I'll take you out of here!" She propped herself up and begged weakly. He breathed a sigh of relief, hurriedly settled the bill, and took her out of the tea room, away from those curious eyes behind her. Coming out of the tea room, he felt it was time to say goodbye, however, seeing her helpless look, he relented and proposed to send her home.
