Chapter 1 Foreword to the reprint

In the summer of 2006, I rewrote "The Summer Solstice Has Not Come". Time went back to the summer of 2004. The white light in Shanghai is still flooding the sky. Days of intense heat make it feel like summer will never end. But there are still some emotions slowly growing in my heart, which is the state of mind that I can never return to in the summer of 2004. Some emotions can only happen in our most transparent boyhood. At that time, the blue sky above the head was always a lonely face, and the floating clouds painted some sad enamel, shining in the sky. Those rays of light illuminate us ordinary boys and girls into legends in the future.

In fact, I myself deeply love this novel whose voice seems to disappear. Its quietness is like a huge starry sky on a summer night, covering the entire earth, but it is so gentle and silent. If you have forgotten something, if you still want to remember. If the aroma and heat of summer can still stir up the sleeping years in your heart. If the rich shade of the camphor tree still can't resist the red heat cast on the eyelids by the sun.

If those lonely skies when you were young haven't completely walked out of your dreams. So……
